The arch over the land part of the bridge has not been damaged,” they reported.

Sept. 20—In a fast-moving situation over the last 24 hours, referenda have been scheduled, beginning Friday, Sept. 23, for the populations of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Kherson Oblast, and the Zaporozhye Oblast to vote on rejoining Russia. The leader of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, signed a law for their referendum, and it was announced by the chair of the LPR’s People’s Council, Denis Miroshnichenko. The People’s Council had demanded of the LPR authorities that a referendum be held immediately. the official question is: “Are you in favor of the LPR joining the Russian Federation as a constituent entity of the Russian Federation?” Voting will extend over five days.

Sept. 20—In the blink of an eye, the citizens of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, along with two southern regions of Ukraine—Kherson and Zaporozhye—set up referenda for Sept. 23—27, voting on whether to formally rejoin Russia. All parties assume that in one week, the overwhelmingly Russian-speaking populations of these areas will have spoken their minds; and Russian leaders have indicated that they will take on this responsibility. At that point, Russia’s “special military operation” is over, as is the West’s “proxy” war. Those new areas of Russia are not to be toyed with.

Aug. 24 (EIRNS)—Defense ministers of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) met in Tashkent, Uzbekistan today and were addressed by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. Aug. 22—Today, the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia issued its statement, with names and details of how a Ukraine secret services operation is responsible for the car bomb assassination on Aug. 20 of Russian political figure Darya Dugina, near Moscow. The perpetrator was a Ukrainian citizen, traced from her entry into Russia in July 2022, her surveillance of the target(s) in Moscow, and her subsequent escape this weekend to Estonia. This is a grave incident, making the dangerous strategic situation even worse, given that the assassination is an instance of state-sponsored terrorism.

This intention was crushed by the Nazis, who threated to orchestrate another coup, that Zelenskyy “would lose his life—he will hang on some tree” in Kiev if he were to implement any part of the Minsk Agreement or stop the war on the Donbas republics. For fear or for incompetence, Zelenskyy capitulated, and now is calling for NATO to intervene, to create a no-fly zone, which is a call for a NATO war with Russia. Every military and political figure who is not totally insane has insisted that such a war could mean the annihilation of the human race. There is no reason for war. The resolution of this global crisis, of benefit to all, lies in the convening of an international conference as called for by the Schiller Institute petition, Convoke an International Conference to Establish A New Security and Development Architecture for All Nations ).
