I'll be focusing on the vast natural and mineral resources of Siberia,
the development of which are now the primary 21st Century task of the
Putin Government. This was a program that goes back to the initial
efforts in the 1890s by Russian Finance Minister Sergei Witte to build a
railroad, similar to what the United States had done with the
Transcontinental Railroad which first connected the American continent.
The vast resources of Siberia and the Far East, representing almost the
entirety of Mendeleev's Periodic Table will now be available for the
great development projects now ongoing in the Asia Pacific as well as in
Africa and Latin America. While U.S. policy is to "de-couple" from
Russia, Russia in turn is "recoupling" with the rest of humanity
big-time, and the project which lay dormant and forgotten during the
period in which the West virtually dominated Russia after the break-up
of the Soviet Union, can now grow and thrive to the great benefit of the
world's population.

Immortality as a Weapon in Grand Strategy

April 29, 2025 (EIRNS)—The proposal by Russian President Vladimir Putin for a three-day truce, commencing May 8-10—“the Russian side reiterates its willingness to enter peace talks without preconditions, with a view to eliminating the root causes behind the Ukraine crisis and establishing constructive interaction with international partners”—has been met with panic and derision. This reaction, and rejection, is both from representatives—though not necessarily from the population—of Ukraine, and from the “Russiagate media circus,” i.e., the usual suspects from the Anglo-American intelligence agencies sometimes euphemistically called the “legacy media.”
