What could have prompted the publication by the {New York Times} on March 7 of a vaguely- sourced, widely-ridiculed story, which alleged that a previously-unknown band of "pro-Ukrainian", non-state actors planted powerful explosives in a highly-technical operation, without detection in an area of the Baltic subject to wide-spread surveillance capabilities, to sabotage the Nord Stream pipelines? |

Feb. 12—On this Feb 12th, the fourth anniversary of Lyndon LaRouche’s passing, The LaRouche Organization and the Schiller Institute dedicated their webpages to providing a “marathon” of his videos, to help viewers educate both their minds and their emotions for the grave challenges that lie ahead. |
Feb. 23, 2025 (EIRNS)—While U.S. President Donald Trump is moving for a peaceful resolution to the crisis in Ukraine, some Europeans aren’t too happy about it. Polish President Andrzej Duda met with Trump on Feb. 22. Macron arrives on Feb. 24, to push Trump on backing a 30,000-strong “peacekeeping” force in Ukraine—a proposal that Russia has completely rejected. Then Sir Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the U.K. will disgrace Washington with his presence on Feb. 27 with similar hopes of coaxing Trump into continued military confrontation. |
The following emergency statement, issued by the Schiller Institute, addresses the ongoing global financial crisis and is intended for the widest possible circulation. |
Two events attended by leaders of the NATO/TransAtlantic military bloc on November 30 exposed the dangerous delusional thinking -- which asserts that Ukraine is winning and Russia losing... |
April 27—There was a time when Germany’s principled stand, to not ever be a party to the promulgation of war, expressed itself, in part, as a commitment to abstain from the weapons trade—especially in heavy offensive weapons, especially where conflict threatens or reigns. The relatively new German Prime Minister Olaf Scholz upheld that principled position, against the frenzy of war fever gripping the West—that is, until Tuesday, April 26, and Ramstein. |
March 29—The United States is uniting the world—against it. This has been the message sent by the rest of the world in response to multiple U.S. officials downplaying UN Security Council Resolution 2728, passed on March 25 and demanding a Ramadan ceasefire, as being “nonbinding.” |
Aug. 16—In less than a week, high-level representatives from over 65 developing sector nations, sometimes referred to as the Global Majority, will gather in Johannesburg, South Africa, under the auspices of the 15th BRICS heads of state and government summit. |
Governments and individuals around the world have responded to Ukraine's Nazi-like Blacklist, with outrage, anger, and, in several cases, demands for Western governments to stop financing the Ukraine government. |
April 21, 2025 (EIRNS)—In what was to be his last Easter “Urbi et Orbi” address, Pope Francis gave specific, current application of his religious message that “Love has triumphed over hatred, light over darkness and truth over falsehood. Forgiveness has triumphed over revenge. Evil has not disappeared from history; it will remain until the end, but it no longer has the upper hand.” |
Feb. 2, 2025 (EIRNS)—After an explosive week of coverage of the illegal activities of the London-Washington “Deep State” apparatus, exposed during the course of the Senate hearings on the Tulsi Gabbard and Kash Patel nominations, the Senate will move to a vote in the course of this coming week. Both nominees acquitted themselves well; and President Trump has thrown his considerable political weight behind them, both publicly and in private. Yet Americans must step up the pressure on the Senate to make sure they are approved, because that Deep State apparatus has no intention of going quietly. |
Oct. 21, 2024 (EIRNS)—On Tuesday, Oct. 22, the nine nations of the BRICS, along with most of the 30 nations that have applied to join the BRICS, will convene in Kazan, Russia. On the first day, President Vladimir Putin will meet with China’s President President Xi Jinping and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Of special note, China and India agreed today to settle the border violence of 2020 that has kept them from collaborating as fully as possible on much larger issues, such as a new financial system that penalizes speculative games and promotes trade and development. Over the three days of the BRICS summit, host Vladimir Putin plans to meet personally with each of the other 19 heads of state or government in attendance. |
Sept. 11,—“Imitation is the best form of flattery,” it is said. It helps, however, to have, at the least, an actual idea of what you are attempting to imitate. A word to the wise, and a warning to the unwise: The creatures of Prometheus cannot be cloned. |
Oct. 30, 2024 (EIRNS)—We are one week after the historic Oct. 22-24 BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, and less than one week before the Nov. 5 U.S. elections. In the remaining days before that election, the world stands a good chance of being brought to the brink of superpower thermonuclear warfare in two different theaters, and action must be taken now to prevent that, by working with the Global Majority to create a new paradigm of security and development for all. Voting, alone, will not do it. |
April 16—Ambassador Tony Kevin, who served in the Australian Embassies in Moscow, Warsaw and Phnom Penh, has provided a core piece of evidence proving beyond any doubt that the slaughter of innocents in the Ukrainian city of Bucha, which is the core “evidence” justifying the massive mobilization of the U.S./NATO forces for a war on Russia, did in fact take place—but well after all Russian forces had pulled out of the city! |
May 5, 2025 (EIRNS)—Today’s different zones of strategic crisis are in various phases of escalation, or temporary de-escalation, in Ukraine, in the Pakistan-India conflict, and in Southwest Asia, with the warfare and horror in Gaza the most urgent to be stopped. |

July 25—The one billion people of NATO nations are a relatively small portion of the entire human population, yet those NATO nations and closer partners account for the majority of military spending on this planet. June 22—The harsh reality of thousands of Ukrainian youth dying in “killing fields” in the last 2-3 weeks of the vaunted “counteroffensive” is beginning to haunt the Western alliance. Instead of the beginning of conquering of the Donbass, of Zaporozhye, of the drive into Crimea, etc., an estimated 13,000-plus Ukrainian soldiers are casualties (wounded or killed) in 2.5 weeks of senseless battle. Not getting past even the first line of multi-layered defensive lines erected by Russia, lines built up with trenches, fortifications, minefields, questions must be asked. |
July 19—Russian President Putin’s trip to Iran, where he met with leaders from that nation and the president of Turkey, represents a step towards consolidating a new paradigm from the world — side-stepping sanctions and the use of the U.S./U.K. dollar to achieve physical economic advancement outside the intended unipolar empire of London and Wall Street. |
April 2—Israel has demonstrated to the world what it thinks of international law. It scorned the Vienna Convention by striking an Iranian diplomatic building in Damascus, which increases the risks of the regional expansion of the current conflict. It has thumbed its nose at the International Court of Justice by working to dismember UNRWA, the lead institution responsible for humanitarian assistance to Palestinians. Not content to rest on its laurels, it then killed several members of the internationally staffed World Central Kitchen, who were transporting food aid within Gaza. |
Nov. 9—November 9 saw demonstrations break out around the world in a new phase of protests, sit-ins, and marches against the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Despite the efforts to intimidate, slander, and censor those speaking out, the resistance to this policy is growing, and it is getting stronger. The nonlinear process is not going to be put back in the bottle. |
Oct. 15, 2024 (EIRNS)—As the world waits with dread for Israel’s expected military strikes on Iran, there is still reason for hope. Most of the world, disgusted by the inaction of the legacy Western powers and the impotence of the United Nations to take decisive action, is thinking about new forms of international relations. Discussions of transforming the UN Security Council are picking up steam, and the relatively new forum of the BRICS is attracting countries from across the globe. |
