Jan. 17—“Established authorities” in politics, economics, history, and the generally-misnamed “social sciences” and other fields in the trans-Atlantic world are, and will remain, baffled, perplexed, dazed and confused about events on the battlefields of Ukraine, in the streets of Germany, in the caucuses of Iowa, and the courts at The Hague. None of their explanations would prepare them to even consider the idea that these are all projections of a field of universal change which is growing in power each time it is resisted. |
What do the historic tractorcades of courageous German farmers and the record margin of victory by Donald Trump in the Iowa caucuses have in common? |
Jan. 15—The world is in the throes of a tectonic shakeup, which is not about to come to a halt anytime soon, Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche told associates on Jan. 15. We are at the end of an era, and 2024 will be decisive in determining what the outcome will be. |
The Trump victory in Iowa was predictable. What is not predictable is whether voters are capable of acting as world citizens rather than little angry people. |
Jan. 15—Major protests this weekend marked the 100 days of fighting in Israel and Gaza. Protests in Washington and London drew hundreds of thousands. Rallies in many other nations, including Ireland, Italy, France, South Africa, and Malaysia joined the call for a ceasefire and a durable peace. |
As the drift to World War III accelerates, the electorate of the U.S. is "sleepwalking into war", on the day of the Iowa Caucuses. |
Jan. 14—Within less than 24 hours of the World Court presentation by South Africa of the case of Israel committing genocide in Gaza, the U.S.A. and U.K. bombed Yemen, which airstrike was repeated by the United States again the next night. U.S. Ambassador to the UN Linda Greenfield-Thomas defended their attacks, telling the UN Security Council yesterday, that the airstrikes “were consistent with international law and in exercise of the UN’s inherent right to self-defense, as reflected by Article 51 of the UN Charter.” |
Jan. 13—Indeed, this past week was really an absolutely dramatic week with at least two events which I would call historic game-changers insofar as the fact that they occurred in the way they did means that there is a complete new chapter in world history. |

The Anglo-American empire is reaching its "emperor has no clothes" moment, as the arrogant disregard for international law displayed by the Biden administration and its NATO allies is being called out by one of its leading defenders, the {Washington Post}. A column on January 5 by foreign policy analyst Ishaan Tharoor -- who has often served as an apologist for the repeated violations of international law by a succession of U.S. administrations -- indicates that it is not just the growing number of anti-colonial leaders from the Global South who recognize the murderous hypocrisy of the "West." |
Jan. 12—South Africa’s blistering presentation at the International Court of Justice through hours of presentations that documented, powerfully, the violations by the State of Israel of the Genocide Convention, demands a response both from that Court, and from the world. It represents an historic day, marking a change in world paradigm. A nation of the Global South has demanded the application of principles that the Anglo-American NATO bloc verbalizes, but does not adhere to. |
Why have you called the case brought to the International Court of Justice charging Israel with genocide, and farm protests in Germany, "game changers"? |
Jan. 11—Two strategic developments which reflect a shift from the passivity of accepting outrageous policies, to fighting for what is right and just, were the central topics of the Jan. 10 weekly Dialogue webcast with Helga Zepp-LaRouche. |

Jan. 10—Now, at the beginning of this New Year, the world is poised to speak and to hear of the Zepp-LaRouche Ten Principles. The Schiller Institute “Ten Principles” text, now circulating for more than a year, was always intended to catalyze a response from individuals and institutions, creating a contemporary dialogue of civilizations and cultures completely inconceivable to the dullards of diplomacy of the trans-Atlantic nations. |
As tractors keep rolling through Germany, more voices are being raised to demand that governments act for the people, not for corporate cartels! |
Join Helga Zepp-LaRouche in her Weekly Live dialogue Jan. 10, 11am EDT/5pm CET and help usher in the Year of the New Paradigm for all Humanity. |
Jan. 8,—It used to be understood that governments exist for the benefit of the lives of their people, and were expected to enact policies to such effect. Imperial and geopolitical wars, and other such wasteful things were rightly seen as distractions from the true mission of government—to advance their nation and their people toward a better future. |
Tens of thousands of farmers drove their tractors through all major German cities yesterday, in what one protester described as "a wake-up call." |
Jan. 7—The showdown is set. South Africa’s stance—that the last three months of mass killings, the assertion of a “collective guilt” doctrine, and, really, the ugly and unlawful “blood and soil” ethnic cleansing actions of Israel must come to an end—comes to the International Court of Justice on Jan. 11. Not one expert on international law who has read the 84-page ICJ filing has found a fault with South Africa’s detailed work. From every corner of the globe, experts have weighed in on the facts of genocide and the 10 pages of quotations from Israeli officials, clearly demonstrating preceding genocidal intent. |
Secretary of State Blinken's hypocrisy was on display in Qatar, as he continues to justify genocide in Gaza as a legitimate defense of a "Rules-Based Order." |
Jan. 6—The hearing set for Jan. 11-12 this week at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, on the case filed Dec. 29 by South Africa against Israel for genocide against the Palestinians is a battleground for survival of civilization. |
Jan. 5,—Today Helga Zepp-LaRouche made a key address to the International Peace Coalition. Excerpts follow: “I will give you my view that on the one side, the situation is getting more horrible in Gaza itself simply because the conditions accumulate, and now with the rainy season and the cold weather, there are reports which are absolutely unbelievable. |
