Richard H. Black (ret.), former head of the U.S. Army’s Criminal Law Division at the Pentagon and a former Virginia State Senator; Helga Zepp-LaRouche: founder and chairwoman of the Schiller Institute; and Col. Lawrence Wilkerson (ret.), former chief of staff to United States Secretary of State Colin Powell. Ray McGovern, former CIA analyst and co-founder of the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS), had been scheduled to appear, but had to cancel due to health issues.

June 11, 2024 (EIRNS)—Last week’s St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) made it clear that the talk of a new paradigm among nations is concretely coming into existence. Nearly 1,000 deals were signed among the event’s 21,000 participants and 3,500 companies, who came from a total of 139 countries.
The tide is turning against the war machine and the financial swindlers who control it. It is time for the people to reassert their constitutional power.
June 9, 2024 (EIRNS)—One year ago, June 10, 2023, Helga Zepp-LaRouche organized and keynoted a Schiller Institute Conference, “The World Needs JFK’s Vision of Peace.” Zepp-LaRouche and her newly-organized International Peace Coalition had just begun meeting weekly on Fridays, holding a provocative but fruitful international dialogue, involving all national populations, on how to change the lethal popular culture of pessimism and indifference, to embark upon a new course of optimistic, mass-based, strategic policy-actions. One year later, the International Peace Coalition has held 53 consecutive Friday meetings, open to all those of good will, devoted to the task of establishing a new security and development architecture for the world. On June 10, 1963, JFK stated his vision of peace in these words: Let us examine our attitude toward peace itself. “Too many of us think it is impossible. Too many think it is unreal. But that is a dangerous, defeatist belief. It leads to the conclusion that war is inevitable—that mankind is doomed—that we are gripped by forces we cannot control. We need not accept that view. Our problems are man-made—therefore, they can be solved by man.”

June 7, 2024 (EIRNS)—In a world where, as Helga Zepp-LaRouche said to yesterday’s meeting #53 of the International Peace Coalition, “red lines are being crossed every day,” and world war seems an inevitability, humanity’s survival may now well depend on an immediate, successful deployment and application of a higher level of intelligence in statecraft.
Who says that the response of Russia, China, or other targeted nations, to wars prosecuted by NATO and the “mad, old, diseased and dying” Anglosphere, must be on their bestial level?
June 6, 2024 (EIRNS)—Israel Defense Forces (IDF) fighter jets hit a UNRWA school in central Gaza yesterday, killing at least three dozen people, including children. Neither the IDF nor the Gaza officials dispute that an airstrike hit a school and dozens died. The IDF stated that “many steps were taken before the strike to minimize the risk of harm to uninvolved people,” including “analyzing aerial photos” and using “precise intelligence.” However, terrorists had used the school for protection and the IDF was able to eliminate “several … terrorists who had planned to carry out terror attacks and advance imminent terror schemes against our forces.” It makes little difference whether the “several” targets were three or five or eight, or whether the word “terror” appears several times in the IDF statement. The point is, it has been heard over and over again, and the horror marches on.
It is still possible, according to Putin, for the U.S. and Russia to be partners --but this would require the U.S. giving up its pretensions to be the Sole Superpower.
June 5, 2024 (EIRNS)—Russian President Vladimir Putin held a three-hour press conference on June 5 with the international media gathered for the opening of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), in which he responded to last week’s announcement by the United States and other NATO countries that they would allow Ukraine to start using long-range NATO weapons, including the ATACMS, to strike inside the borders of Russia.
80 years ago the allies landed in France. The miserable gaggle of leaders in the west may have forgotten the sacrifices to defeat the Nazis, but we must not.
The intervention by the State Department to deny Scott Ritter the right to travel to a conference in Russia is another sign of the desperation of the defenders of the Unipolar Order.
