And in less than a month, President Biden will team up with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to try to impose the City of London’s policy of green genocide on the entire planet, at the April 22-23 Leaders Summit on Climate. The Chinese Foreign Ministry’s powerful endorsement on March 26 of the “Declaration Of China Experts from All Over the World,” drafted by Helga Zepp-LaRouche, as well as the appearance of the Chinese Consul General in New York Huang Ping at the Schiller Institute Conference on March 20, further demonstrates the absolutely critical importance of the work of this organization in preventing a degeneration into nuclear war between the world’s two largest economies. The lies about Iraq’s “weapons of mass destruction” are mild compared to the incredible fabrications about the condition of the Uyghurs in Xinjiang, even describing as “genocide” what is in fact an economic and social miracle which has transformed the entire region from abject poverty into a thriving center for international trade and development, lifting every single resident out of poverty. Not one death has been demonstrated by the accusers, nor have any visited the region, which is open to anyone who wishes to see for themselves. Henry Kissinger—certainly not one to shy away from launching wars, as he did across Southeast Asia—nonetheless should be taken seriously when he tells his mentees at London’s Chatham House, as he did March 25: “If we don’t get an understanding with China [for a new global order], then we will be in a pre-World War I-type situation,” in which geopolitical conflicts are allowed to proliferate, until “one of them gets out of control at some point. It is infinitely more dangerous now than it was then.” China is no longer calmly waiting for the lies and illegal sanctions and threats to end. Yang Jiechi, China’s leading diplomat, read Secretary of State Antony Blinken the Riot Act at their public confrontation in Anchorage March 19, exposing the demand that China follow the “established rules of law” as the rules of a dictatorship which has blatantly broken all the actual “international laws” established after World War II, largely by Franklin Roosevelt and his associates, meant to never again allow a lawless fascist state to threaten the human race. In response to the sanctions imposed on China last week, over the imagined mistreatment of the Uighurs, China has imposed sanctions on individuals, parliamentarians and institutions in the EU, U.K., the U.S. and Canada. Meanwhile, Russia and China have reaffirmed their “Strategic Partnership,” while 140 nations have joined China’s Belt and Road Initiative—40 in Sub-Saharan Africa; 34 in Europe and Central Europe (including 18 EU countries); 25 in East Asia and the Pacific; 17 in Southwest Asia; 18 in Ibero-America and the Caribbean; and 6 in Southeast Asia. These are nations being liberated from the stranglehold of the IMF-World Bank “conditionalities” which have maintained neo-colonial control long past the end of formal colonialism, imposing “enforced backwardness” through financial dictates. The senile President Joe Biden on Mach 26 told British Prime Minister Boris Johnson that he wants to build his own “Belt and Road Initiative” to counter China—but only for “democracies!” These are facts which can no longer be ignored. Today the regular Friday briefing by China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs was an extraordinarily hot occasion, in which U.S. policy, the CIA in particular, was called out for conspiracy to create the Uyghur human rights “issue” in Xinjiang with deliberate intent to contain China, and similar frauds were concocted and carried out in Iraq and Syria. Spokeswoman Hua Chunying, director of the ministry’s Department of Information, conducted the proceedings. Before the regular press briefing began, a video of Daniel Dumbrill was shown, delivering remarks at an event titled, “Genocide in Xinjiang,” shown on a Discovery Zoom Panel.Then Hua Chunying announced, “I’d like to show you one more short video,” and played a clip of Col. Note that, during the tense Q&A which followed, she expressed special appreciation for the statement released on March 23 by Schiller Institute President Helga Zepp-LaRouche and international co-signers, “Declaration of China Experts from all over the World.” HUA CHUNYING: “We’ve just watched this video clip together. I wonder what you think of it. The speaker is Lawrence Wilkerson, former chief of staff to former Secretary of State Colin Powell and retired U.S. Army Colonel. He was speaking at the Ron Paul Institute in August 2018 on the threefold purposes of the U.S. presence in Afghanistan, one of which is to contain China. He said undisguisedly that ‘the third reason we were there [in Afghanistan] is because there are 20 million Uyghurs [in Xinjiang]. In an April 2019 speech at Texas A&M University, former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo boasted, ‘we lied, we cheated, we stole. … We had entire training courses. It reminds you of the glory of the American experiment.’ This is what the U.S. has said and done. “In 2003, the U.S. launched military strikes against Iraq on the grounds that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction, causing hundreds of thousands of casualties and more than 1 million homeless. Years later, the U.S. admitted that the evidence of Iraq’s holding weapons of mass destruction was nothing more than a small tube of white laundry powder. “In 2018, the U.S., the U.K., France and some other countries launched air strikes on Syria, claiming that the Syrian government forces used chemical weapons against the Syrian people. The air strikes led to hundreds of thousands of casualties and displacement of innocent civilians. But the evidence of the so-called use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government turned out to be nothing more than a staged video directed by the White Helmets, a group funded by U.S. and U.K. intelligence agencies. “In 2019, during the disturbance over proposed legislative amendments in Hong Kong, the CIA worked hand in glove with National Endowment for Democracy to sponsor, instigate and even commanded anti-China, destabilizing forces in Hong Kong to launch vandalizing, looting and arson attacks, and storm the Legislative Council building in the name of fighting for democracy and freedom in an attempt to spark a ‘color revolution’ in Hong Kong . “Now, the U.S. and its several Western allies are targeting the pure and white Xinjiang cotton. Philip Davidson (Commander of the Indo-Pacific Command), have all declared that the economic miracle which lifted 800 million Chinese out of poverty to be “contrary to our way of life,” and the New Silk Road, which is taking that economic miracle to the rest of the poor nations of the South, to be an imperial trick to take over the world. They wish the world to believe that there is no such thing as a “common aim of mankind”—what Xi Jinping calls “win-win”—but only geopolitics, animal instincts, survival of the fittest. The current international mobilization against Russia in regard to the escapades of dissident Alexey Navalny, a pathetic right-wing racist openly deployed by British and U.S. intelligence services, based on yet another fake analysis from Britain’s Porton Down lab accusing Russia of Navalny’s novichok poisoning, must be recognized as an effort to impose a color revolution on Moscow while preparing for war. On Friday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was asked by journalist Vladimir Solovyov, regarding the threat of new EU sanctions over the Navalny case, “Are we heading for a breach with the EU?” Lavrov replied: “We believe we would be ready for this. We are neighbors. Speaking collectively, they are our largest trade and investment partner. Many EU companies operate here; there are hundreds or even thousands of joint ventures. When a business benefits both sides, we will continue. I am sure that we have become fully self-sufficient in the defense sphere. We must also attain the same position in the economy to be able to act accordingly if we see again (we have seen this more than once) that sanctions are imposed in a sphere where they can create risks for our economy, including in the most sensitive areas such as the supply of component parts. We don’t want to be isolated from the world, but we must be prepared for this. If you want peace, prepare for war.” A parallel diabolical campaign against China, based on the lies peddled by disgraced former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, is being carried forward by Biden’s new State Department officials under Antony Blinken. As two U.S. aircraft carrier groups exercised in the South China Sea, a nuclear submarine passed through the Taiwan Strait, and Blinken expressed his agreement with Pompeo in the absurd declaration that China is committing genocide against the Uighurs. In fact the Uighur population in Xinjiang is increasing, all abject poverty has been eliminated among the Uighurs (as is true of all Chinese), and the economy is expanding rapidly. Biden held a two-hour phone call with President Xi Jinping, seen as relatively positive by the Chinese. However, if one considers that Donald Trump’s efforts to create friendly and productive relations with both Russia and China were squashed by the military-industrial complex, what is one to think of how things will go with the weak and increasingly senile President Biden? In the U.S., the farcical second impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump ended as everyone knew it would, as the anti-Trump gang fell short by ten votes to convict Trump. The unconstitutional “show trial” succeeded, however, in its intended effect—to further polarize the nation into warring camps, as the City of London and Wall Street seize power over the U.S. economy from the nation’s elected representatives through the Green Finance scheme. On schedule this morning, the United Arab Emirates’ spaceship “Hope” successfully moved into orbit around Mars. It is now settling into position, to soon monitor Red Planet weather conditions. The Hope mission is to last for an entire Martian year (687 Earth days).Tomorrow, the Chinese “Tianwen-1” is expected to make its arrival at Mars as scheduled, with a complex program planned for the coming months. Then comes the arrival Feb. 18 of the NASA craft, Perseverance, to land a rover on the surface. This February threesome brings to five, the total number of nations which have succeeded in their Mars missions to date. Truly, if we set things right on Earth, Mars is only the beginning of a new age of advancement for mankind. Already reported was the case of the national chairman of the Proud Boys who served as an FBI informant for years. Now it’s come to light that a leader of the paramilitary Oath Keepers’ who participated in the assault on the U.S. Capitol Jan. 6 held an FBI security clearance. Another blatant case of national subversion involves plotting against President Vladimir Putin and Russia. This is being conducted by the very same networks undermining the United States—the London-centered, financial transnational networks, promoting their own dictatorship. Yesterday, a confab was held online, organized by the Polish mission to the European Union in Brussels, of various EU nations, plus the U.K., the U.S., Canada and Ukraine, to conspire against Putin, and otherwise destabilize Russia. The very same Russian aide to “dissident” Alexey Navalny, Vladimir Ashurkov, caught on tape in 2012, discussing big bucks with a suspected British MI6 agent, for the purpose of orchestrating opposition to Putin in Russia, attended yesterday’s virtual confab in Brussels. Today, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakarova blasted the meeting, describing it as a gathering of NATO countries using Navalny to organize subversive activities against Russia. First, with under three days to go before the inauguration of Joe Biden, the media are conducting fear-mongering 24-7, over the prospect of violence in Washington, D.C., state capitals, and other sites. Precautionary measures for public safety are one thing. But what is covered up, is that the Jan. 6th mob attack on the Capitol Building and Congress was a contrived, staged event, intended as rationalization for “emergency” police-state and surveillance measures in the aftermath, in the same way as Sept. 11, 2001 was used for the Patriot Act, and in the spirit of the 1933 Reichstag Fire. Secondly, there is the bandwagon to conduct an impeachment later this week in the Senate against Donald Trump, who will be a private citizen by then. This morning, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), the impeachment manager, discussed his “trial plan” on national television, which is madness on steroids. He intends to include not just the bogus impeachment article charge of “inciting to insurrection,” but to “tell the story of this President’s attack on America.” Thirdly, there is the push for racism and maximum social conflict. For example, American “whiteness” must be ended, was the theme sounded last week in a Washington Post guest column by Hillary Clinton, the has-been former Presidential Wall Street candidate, for whom the most extreme election illegalities were perpetrated in 2016. Her column, “America, We Need To Do Some Soul Searching” charged that, thanks to Trump, “whiteness is valued at the expense of everything else.” Fourth, there is the mass shutdown of communications through social media, targeting the President of the United States and thousands of others. Among others, Twitter banned Trump forever Jan. 8, cutting off access to 88 million people. Twitter founder, billionaire Jack Dorsey said about this, in a tape that recently came out: “We are forced to act on this one account … but we are going to go way beyond this after the inauguration….” There are more lines of chaos which could be enumerated. One thing is clear: These operations do not reflect an outbreak of coincidental dastardliness. They all trace back to serve the interests of the political/financial dictatorship plotting for terminal control of what’s left of the world economy, via their green “Great Reset” power grab, and outright depopulation they know will ensue. Glenn Greenwald, investigative journalist, made a related point on this today, when he said on a Fox News interview, that the Big Tech censorship was “not some unilateral power grab” out of Silicon Valley. No. There are “corporate and government” networks behind this, acting through the major media—CNN, New York Times and the rest, conducting a pressure campaign to make the censorship happen. According to the latest available reports, talks between Russia and the United States, and Russia and NATO will begin before mid-January, on the texts of the two draft agreements on security guarantees presented by Russia to the U.S. and NATO on Dec. 15. January 12 in Geneva is under consideration for the NATO-Russia talks, and before that, possibly January 10, for the bilateral U.S.-Russia meeting. This is critical diplomacy, which Russia has initiated. But also critical to stopping the countdown to World War III is the activation of citizens everywhere against the policy of brinksmanship and encroachment against Russia and China.A barrage of warnings has come from Russia in the past 36 hours. President Vladimir Putin told Rossiya-1 TV on Dec. 26, that the talks dare not have a “destructive agenda” in which the United States and NATO, “will indulge in endless talk about the necessity of negotiations, but will do nothing but pump a neighboring country with state-of-the-art weapons systems and build up threats to Russia, and we will have to do something with these threats.” Putin explicated the meaning of the “red line” which he has set. He said, “I want everyone both in our country and abroad, our partners to clearly understand: the matter is not in a line we don’t want anyone to cross. The matter is that we have nowhere to step back.” He stressed, “They have driven us to such a line, excuse my language, that we have nowhere to move.” He pointed to the risks of new missile systems deployed at a distance of four to five minutes’ flight to Moscow. “Well, where are you going to go now? They have simply driven us to the state when we must say: stop!” Putin went on, that this is the reason Russia’s initiative on security guarantees was made public for all nations to see. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov spoke sternly on Dec. 26, saying that January “is when it will become clear whether the Americans are ready to give a substantive response, or they will opt for protracting the process and for seeking to initiate a policy of years-long talks.” We need “an urgent, concrete solution….” Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said today, in an interview published today in the Russian Mezhdunarodnaya Zhizn (Foreign Policy) journal, among other points, that, “when we say that NATO facilities and all kinds of activities which are provocative for Russia need to be rolled back to the positions that existed in 1997, when the NATO-Russia Founding Act was signed, we are not bluffing.” Reviewing these remarks and other developments today, Schiller Institute President Helga Zepp-LaRouche stressed that our job is to make sure that a large portion of people in every country possible, understands what is going on. We are in a countdown of extreme danger, with no “wiggle room” left. The din of war in the trans-Atlantic media, the drumbeat of “Russian attack and invasion,” has now reached a crescendo. Can there still be some Leonard Bernstein of London who will raise the orchestra of the intelligence services to a still louder pitch, until American and European publics actually believe that a Russian military invasion of Ukraine is underway? Will some stiff-necked journalists continue to demand actual evidence?On Feb. 5 the Financial Times took the podium, with “U.S. Believes Russia Plans Nuclear Exercise To Warn West over Ukraine.” It declared with the London media’s usual evidence-freedom that “U.S. military and intelligence officials believe Russia is planning a major nuclear weapons exercise this month as a warning to NATO not to intervene if President Vladimir Putin decides to invade.” This nuclear weapons exercise should be in September, the FT decides, but the bully Putin is going to hold it in February or March instead to intimidate NATO when the invasion goes ahead. The invasion that, according to NBC on Sunday, Biden Administration officials believe is coming “any day now.” “Russia generally holds its annual nuclear exercises—which involve testing intercontinental ballistic missiles from land, sea and air—in the fall,” wrote the FT. “But the U.S. believes Putin has decided to hold them earlier this year as a show of strength in the event that he orders his military to further invade Ukraine” probably in “mid-February to the end of March.” Then a somewhat unintelligible—perhaps crazy—analyst from the Hudson Institute is quoted, of this hypothesized February nuclear exercise, “It would be an incredibly provocative and foreboding message if they did that simultaneously with an invasion of Ukraine.” What the FT presented as its war scoop—similar to Bloomberg News’ short-lived headline, “Russia Invades Ukraine,” on Feb. 4—actually was already apparently stated to the Congress Feb. 3 in closed-door, classified testimony by Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley and DNI Avril Haines, and then leaked to Fleet Street. What about the fact that the United States right now is holding nuclear weapons exercises, called Global Lightning 2022, which exercises are intended to simulate an extended nuclear war, with first strikes—nuclear and conventional—retaliatory second strikes, responses to those strikes, and on, with more and more of the nuclear arsenals being fired? Nothing such inconveniently directed threat matters, facing the “Russia is invading Ukraine” drumbeat. But it does matter to its real target, the human race. Helga Zepp-LaRouche in a new article said of Global Lightning, “This nuclear war plan includes not only nuclear weapons but various other lethal systems such as missile defense systems, directed energy weapons such as electromagnetic pulse weapons and lasers, cyberattacks, and Space Force attacks from space. Who would be able to survive such a prolonged nuclear war?” There are some signs of motion toward a solution: French President Emmanuel Macron’s negotiation with Russian President Vladimir Putin gave signs of immediate, possibly productive follow-up from both sides. But the real solution can only be found in the direction Zepp-LaRouche indicated. The financial system is an immense mass of unpayable debts preparing to crash again, worse than in 2008, and the City of London and Wall Street can survive it only if they beat down Russia and/or China before it crashes, distracting millions in the process from perceiving the failing monetarist system. A new paradigm of economic as well as moral and cultural relations among the great powers is the antidote both to the coming financial crash, and to the resort to unsurvivable war. A New Bretton Woods credit system is urgently needed which can save Afghanistan and other war-destroyed nations, and build modern healthcare systems in every country to save people from pandemics.

With the benefit of hindsight—which of course is always 20:20, as the saying goes—you would have been optimistic. Or at least you should have been. Because out of the 14th-century Black Death, which nearly wiped out Western civilization altogether, came the 15th-century’s Golden Renaissance and the greatest flourishing of classical culture and science yet produced by Man. Don’t you wonder how that came about? Today we are in the throes of a pandemic which is sweeping the planet and will get worse in the short term. New strains of the coronavirus have begun to mutate; most national health systems are not equal to the task of keeping up with the disease and its victims; the COVID-19 policies of nearly every government in Europe and the Americas are in shambles because of their submission to Wall Street and the City of London austerity policies; and perhaps worst of all, there is growing irrationality in large parts of the population, who reject science in favor of organized lunacy such as the “Q” fraud and related games.On top of this, as Helga Zepp-LaRouche emphasized in a discussion with colleagues yesterday, there is the aggressive drive of the British Empire to impose a Green Global Reset, which proposes to intentionally reduce the planet’s population down to perhaps 1 billion people, through a combination of decarbonization, denuclearization, and overall deindustrialization policies. Those forces have just won a significant victory by stealing the U.S. election from Donald Trump, who was always against the green approach, and putting Joe Biden in the White House, whose very first act in office was to rejoin the ultra-green Paris Accord. What, then, are the grounds for optimism? First, the reality of the physical economic constraints that these British policies are already crashing into with full force. Just look at the insanity of the campaign to fully convert Europe’s automobiles to electric vehicles (EV), which we describe below. Has anyone bothered to look at what the bill of materials would be for such a plan? Second, the reality of Man’s characteristic capability to act on his new creative discoveries, to not play by the existing rules of the game. For example, viable health systems must and can be established in every country in the world, as part of a bankruptcy reorganization of the international financial system in order to restart physical economy. This will require in-depth cooperation between the U.S. and China, in particular. This is just the beginning of the global economic recovery plan required, including the creation of 1.5 billion productive new jobs. In June 2003, Lyndon LaRouche reflected on the issue of optimism and pessimism in a speech he delivered in Queens, New York: “The other aspect which is important as I see it, around the world today, is pessimism. Despite the relationship between the U.S. and Russia hitting a new low, as Anglo-American oligarchs are intent on carrying out a regime change in both Moscow and Beijing, Helga Zepp LaRouche believes that having a summit, in which Putin and Biden speak directly, offers an opportunity to pull back from a rush toward war. This summit comes as there is emerging a new combativeness against the Great Reset and Green New Deal, which together are being pushed to save a bankrupt system. But the danger of war remains, especially with the prospect that the Green Party in Germany will be in the next government after the September election, and that its lead candidate, Annalena Baerbock might emerge as Chancellor, with the full support of the Trans-Atlantic war hawks for her candidacy. Zepp-LaRouche highlighted, as part of this war danger, Green Party leader Habeck calling for arming Ukraine, despite the presence of open Nazis in the defense/security sector, and the escalation against the Lukashenko government in Belarus.

Why provoke Russia in a way that could lead, even by accident, to nuclear warfare? Feb. 13—The question of what will happen next, and when, in the contrived confrontation by the NATO bloc against Russia in Europe, remains hanging in the air and very dangerous. More counter forces of sanity are speaking out, but a decisive break is urgent.Over the weekend, U.S. spokesmen continued their drumroll of assertions against Russian aggression, and their bogus charge that Russia will attack Ukraine, in statements by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, speaking from Hawaii, by National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, and by Pentagon spokesman John Kirby. They were militantly vague on when and how. Sullivan on CNN this morning said, on the time frame of a Russian attack, that we are “in the window,” and it could be “any day now,” or otherwise “after the Olympics” which end on Feb. 20. Sullivan said that Russia can be expected to stage a false-flag incident, because, for among other reasons, it is just “consistent with the Russian playbook” to do that kind of thing. No evidence is needed. Assessing the situation, Schiller Institute President Helga Zepp-LaRouche said today that the “ambiguity of potential false flags will remain, until someone cuts through this…. We need a decisive break.” Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) spoke out strongly over the weekend, exposing those behind the insane war drive against Russia. She tweeted out a 4-minute clip from her appearance on Fox News Saturday evening, with a tweet explaining how “Biden can very easily prevent a war with Russia by guaranteeing that Ukraine will not become a member of NATO.” On TV, she charged that “Biden and military leaders actually want Russia to invade Ukraine. Why would they do so? It gives Biden the excuse to levy draconian sanctions … and it cements the Cold War in place…. The military-industrial complex is the one that benefits from this; they clearly control the Biden Administration; warmongers on both sides in Washington who have been drumming up these tensions.” There is also an increasing activation and prominence of anti-war groups in the U.S. Besides the NATO focus on confrontation over Ukraine, the global NATO mobilization in the Indo-Pacific is in full swing. After the ministerial QUAD meeting in Australia this past week, the White House issued a 19-page document, “Indo-Pacific Strategy of the United States.” Blinken plugged its world supremacy point of view yesterday, speaking from Honolulu, where he met with foreign ministers of Japan and South Korea. Blinken said that, “In the meeting that the three of us had, we discussed the threat that Russia’s aggression poses—not only to Ukraine, but to the entire international rules-based order, which has provided a foundation for decades of shared security and prosperity, for our people here in this region and, again, around the globe.” He said of his fellow ministers that, “we agreed to stick together in our response to Russia.” It is against his triumphalism that certain opposition viewpoints stand out, which are coming from establishment figures in Europe. On Feb. 11, the French weekly Marianne carried an article headlined, “NATO Exit: Urgency Absolute,” which urges that France leave NATO. That “will signal Europe’s independence from American exceptionalism, the renewal of multilateralism, the emergence of a multipolar world….” It is by German economist Peter Dittus, former Secretary General of the Bank for International Settlements, and former Deputy Governor of the Banque de France Hervé Hannoun, former BIS Deputy Managing Director. Today, a warning is sounded by Russian policy expert Fyodor Lukyanov, “How the World Sleepwalked into Another Cuban Missile Crisis.” In his article in RT, after stressing the current danger over the Ukraine confrontation, he advises that, “The best-case scenario would be the same as during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
