The cure for election anxiety is not to prepare for war, but to build support for cooperation with the BRICS, to break the power of the failed western establishment.
Nov. 3, 2024 (EIRNS)—Halloween is over and now comes the U.S. presidential election. Recent elections in Germany, France, Hungary, Slovakia, Georgia and today in Moldova have delivered a thunderous message, that anyone associated with the de-industrialization and “permanent war” policies of the West is to be treated rudely by the electorate. Whatever would be running a “collective Kamala” administration, it smells of the same brand, loyal to putting financial derivative bubbles first and subjects of proxy wars last.
Nov. 2, 2024 (EIRNS)—On Friday, Nov. 1, President of the World Surgical Foundation Dr. Mark Perlmutter stood as a witness before a New York City audience to deliver a devastating firsthand report, punctuated by raw photos of what he experienced, on the horrors of the situation in Gaza. For some of those in attendance, the accounts of a deliberate extermination of a trapped population, epitomized by the targeted killing of its children, was almost too much to bear. Perlmutter, who was originally scheduled to speak at Mount Sinai Hospital, but was driven away by cowardly accusations of anti-Semitism, charged the audience to act—to do whatever it takes to force a change in U.S. policy supporting a blatant genocide.
Nov. 1, 2024 (EIRNS)—In Southwest Asia, in addition to Israel’s continuing genocide warfare in Gaza and southern Lebanon, Israel this week perpetrated the emblematic act of bulldozing into the ground buildings in the West Bank provincial capital of Tulkarem, where the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has been carrying out aid to the Nur Shams camp. UNRWA, mandated since its founding in 1949 to provide aid to Palestinians in the transition to Palestine becoming an independent state—a transition wrongfully extended for decades, has been unilaterally outlawed this week by Israel, and is now physically under destruction. In Lebanon, one estimate of the devastation there is that nearly a quarter of all buildings have been destroyed in 25 municipalities near the border with Israel.
Being less than one week from the U.S. elections, a panoply of hysterical narratives are being shoved in the faces of people which bear no relevance to the truly consequential events that will shape the future of the world.
Oct. 31, 2024 (EIRNS)—While we are now less than one week away from the U.S. elections, the truly consequential events that will shape the future of the world are taking place on an entirely different stage. To the extent that citizens work to bring these substantive issues to the surface within their nations—rather than succumb to what seems possible given the available options—will the fate of not only the Collective West, but of the entire world be determined.
Oct. 30, 2024 (EIRNS)—We are one week after the historic Oct. 22-24 BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, and less than one week before the Nov. 5 U.S. elections. In the remaining days before that election, the world stands a good chance of being brought to the brink of superpower thermonuclear warfare in two different theaters, and action must be taken now to prevent that, by working with the Global Majority to create a new paradigm of security and development for all. Voting, alone, will not do it.
Oct. 29, 2024 (EIRNS)—It is a foregone conclusion that the least of two evils in the U.S. presidential election will not be capable, left to their own devices, of taking the simple step of having the country step away from addiction to a “gambling casino” economy, and embrace the economic mobilization of science, industry, and agriculture found in the new Global Majority of the BRICS. If they are left to their own devices, one could perhaps dodge a thermonuclear confrontation over Ukraine and stumble into one over Israel, or vice versa; or if the collapse of the dollar should occur before an explosion in Ukraine or Israel, then a nuclear conflagration could erupt without the use of a proxy.
Oct. 28, 2024 (EIRNS)—In a Monday meeting, Oct. 28, held to evaluate the history-making events of last week—including the Oct. 22-24 Kazan, Russia BRICS summit; the Oct. 26 symposium/concert “Build a Chorus of Peace Against the Ghouls of War,” hosted by LaRouche Independent candidates Diane Sare and Jose Vega; and the Sunday, Oct. 27 “Operation DAWN, Threat of Nuclear War in the World Today” brunch, organized by former U.S. Marines intelligence officer and whistleblower Scott Ritter—Schiller Institute head Helga Zepp-LaRouche, both contributor to and participant in those events, and earlier processes that made the achievements of those events possible, indicated what she believed needed to happen next. “We have to absolutely make clear that the only way how the danger of a Third World War can be overcome, is that we have to get the collective West—that’s the United States and the European nations—to stop their silly geopolitical confrontation against this new majority of the world. After all, the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, plus other nations) as they are now, represents 4.7 billion people, and 57% of the world’s population, and there are many more countries in line waiting to join. And it would be foolish, to the point of insanity, if the West would continue to oppose that.”
There is still time to stop the onrush toward nuclear war, if enough people in the West recognize the danger in accepting the axioms of imperial geopolitics.

Oct. 24, 2024 (EIRNS)—The 16th BRICS Summit drew to a close today in Kazan, Russia, with the announcement that the nine current members of the BRICS had agreed to invite 13 countries to join as new “partner states”—representing nearly 1 billion human beings! The BRICS grouping now represents over 4.6 billion people—57% of the world’s population: the Global Majority, to be sure.
Oct. 23, 2024 (EIRNS)—Today was the second of three days of the Oct. 22-24 BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia. The agenda saw heads of state and government of the nine member nations meet privately in Restricted Access mode, then in expanded format. The Summit released a Declaration, “Strengthening Multilateralism for Just Global Development and Security,” and on the sidelines, dozens of meetings are taking place, including among the 15 other heads of state and government in attendance, as well as among the 36 foreign delegations present this week.

This evening evening the China daily Global Times paraphrased Mrs. Zepp-LaRouche that: “It is probably impossible to speak about human rights without addressing the immediate danger to the very existence of the entire human species—war in Ukraine and war in the Middle East, which risk escalating into a global nuclear war. The highest priority for all people must be to rise above geopolitics and the notion that nations or groups can impose their interests on others by any means is fundamentally flawed.”
