The campus revolt in the United States against the vote for depopulation wars in Ukraine and Gaza/Palestine has stunned America’s political establishment. Disgraced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called for censorship on American campuses, and speaker Mike Johnson, following his lead, appeared at Columbia University, on an invisible leash, to echo Netanyahu’s directive. Their concern is the fracturing of Jewish community on support for Israel, in both the Democratic and Republican Parties, but far more importantly, the dissent from support for the Military/Industrial/Congressional/Intelligence/MEDIA/Academic/ Think-Tank complex. This is the present “secret government” of the United States, which is impenetrable to the wishes or demands of the Americans electorate.
But is that true? In fact, unity of the disparate sectors of the dissenting pro-peace, pro-technological progress and pro-American forces in this country would shatter the fragile power of the “War Party” and the MICIMATT apparatus. To do this, these forces must present positive alternatives to the war-mongering depopulaters. The LaRouche Oasis Plan for Southwest Asia can be matched with a similar plan for the United States, such as a transcontinental high-speed and magnetically levitated rail development corridor, recommitting America to the construction of new, productive cities along its route. This means new powerCan $91 billion be “found” for that, the same way that it was found for purposes of new mass murder through war—war that will inevitably lead to thermonuclear extinction of the very fools that applauded it on the floor of Congress? An American independent movement, electoral and non-electoral, must make such Oasis Projects, in Southwest Asia and in the United States a reality now, if we are to survive.
