The present deadly crises unfolding in southwest Asia, Ukraine, and in the American Presidency itself, demand much more from the American people. Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an in-person interview this week with reporter Tucker Carlson, made it clear that he cannot trust that the present American Head of State, or, perhaps, {any}American President, is actually sovereign—empowered, in consultation with the legislative and judicial branches of government, to make executive decisions of world-changing consequences, on existential matters such as thermonuclear war.
A new international security and development architecture, as outlined by the Schiller Institute’s Helga Zepp-LaRouche in her Ten Principles, if it is to be achieved, must be premised upon a visible, seismic change in American politics that will go well beyond its electoral system. The character of that change is indicated by the present European-wide revolt of the farm sector against the European Union’s and NATO’s “Green New Ordeal.”
President Putin stated during the interview, that it is not merely the individual American or European leader that matters, but rather a change in the mindset of what he termed “the Elite “that will determine whether relations between the transatlantic world and Russia, China, and the BRICS-Plus nations worsen, or improve.
But how can we change the minds of a mad, old, diseased, dying, drugged and fatally self-doomed elite? The answer is the original American answer: to form a new voluntary army of independent world-citizens, whose powers of self-government are based on the mind, not on money, and on building a new physical-economic platform, freed from the Wall Street/City of London financial casino masquerading as a monetary system.
What can we do, now, which can be life – savingly timely, in Gaza, Ukraine, and even other areas in the short term, yet at the same time be durable in its long-term effect? How can we use great ideas to win, in the short time given to us to succeed, before we are startled by a thermonuclear “knock at midnight?”
