As NATO officials escalate their war mongering in a delusional belief that Russia can be defeated, opposition is growing. |
March 25—Even as the March 22 terror attack in Russia, the sharply escalating Russia-Ukraine war, and ongoing NATO plans to put boots on the ground in Ukraine threaten to push the planet over the edge into thermonuclear war, those who would stop such insanity should take careful note of two developments over the last 48 hours. |

March 24—Consider Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche’s warning to the 42nd consecutive meeting of the International Peace Coalition, March 22: “I think that the worsening of the strategic situation will dawn on people all over the world, because if the Russians are actually saying that there is now a state of war, that will be heard. I can only hope that a lot of idiotic people who think this is all bluff and will not happen, will wake up.” |
Excerpt from a keynote address given by Lyndon LaRouche on Sept. 2, 2000 to the annual Labor Day weekend conference of the International Caucus of Labor Committees and the Schiller Institute. |
March 22—I think all thinking people are aware of the fact that the war danger is accelerating at an incredible speed. It’s almost impossible to think where to start with the evolving crises of humanity in which we find ourselves. Not only do we have an increasing danger of a NATO versus Russia war coming almost around the corner; a worsening of the situation with China; but also, you have these unbelievable humanitarian crises which are killing people by the hundreds of thousands. |

This statement was presented at the March 22, 2024 meeting of the International Peace Coalition, where its immediate distribution internationally was a central topic of discussion. |
March 21—On January 26, the International Court of Justice found that there was solid ground for the charge of genocide by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza. That same day, Israel alleged that UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East), the key aid agency holding back the pace of the genocide, had 12 of its 30,000 employees with some connection to Hamas’s Oct. 7 assault on Israel. UNRWA summarily dismissed all the 12 employees, without contesting the sketchy allegations of the accounts of Israel’s evidence, apparently in the hope that the Western powers would be content with the sacrifice. |
The International Peace Coalition is bringing together an anti-war movement to create a new era of cooperative, peaceful development among sovereign states. |
March 20—On the night of March 17, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that a direct military conflict between Russia and U.S.-led NATO troops in Ukraine would mean the planet was only one step away from thermonuclear World War III. Putin was responding to a reporter’s question regarding French President Emmanuel Macron’s Feb. 26 comments that the deployment of NATO ground troops in Ukraine could not be ruled out. Putin, whose election victory had just been confirmed, was succinct as to what this would mean: |
As corrupt and unpopular western leaders insist it's time to "Prepare for war!", Russian President Putin warns we are "one step away" from World War III. |
We need action, and action now, by independent, cognitively tough citizens that will act, now to give the world the sort of alternative indicated in the LaRouche Oasis Plan, and the actions, including candidacies, designed to bring this about. Speakers: Diane Sare, Jose Vega |
March 19—To stay alive, the world may have to deal with a vicious strain of cynicism. |
In the face of relentless pressure to pass the Biden Ukraine war package, there are signs that Republicans will capitulate to the War Hawks and vote for it. |
Despite a decade of attempted destabilization against Russia, Putin sailed smoothly to re-election. How could this happen???? |
March 18—What’s really going on, today, in the global strategic situation? What is important, and what isn’t? The world is threatened by intentional or accidental thermonuclear war; whole regions of the globe are in upheaval; resolving the complex problems in Ukraine, or in Gaza requires international solutions. But how do you determine what to do about these situations, if you don’t know what’s actually going on beneath the surface, or why? How do you propose and then implement correct policy in a constantly shifting world-process? |

The actual disasters of Biden's State of the Union were glossed over by the media. |
March 17—It is too early to say that Irish-American citizens are turning against President Joe Biden to the degree that Arab-Americans and students are. But protests and “alternative St. Patrick’s parades for Palestine” in greater New York and in Philadelphia show that the intense support for Palestine in Ireland itself, is infecting Irish-Americans. |
Widespread recognition that Ukraine can't win, and that Netanyahu is carrying out ethnic cleansing in Gaza, has brought the world to a tipping point. |
March 16—French President Emmanuel Macron chose the tenth anniversary of Crimea’s March 16, 2014 vote to reunify with Russia—with an overwhelming 96.8% of votes cast—to proclaim that there will be no lasting peace in the Ukraine-Russia war unless and until Crimea is handed over to Ukraine. He might just as well have announced that, henceforth, all falling snow will be black. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov responded simply: “The issue of the affiliation of Crimea and Sevastopol is closed. The peninsula is an integral part of Russia.” |
March 15—The introductory remarks made today by Helga Zepp-LaRouche, the founder of the Schiller Institute and the initiator of the International Peace Coalition, to the 41st session of the IPC, provide an excellent strategic overview |
Now, it can no longer be denied: There are, in 2024, no problems in the United States, or in any other trans-Atlantic nation, which are not international. |
March 14—After “MacBibi” Netanyahu’s March 12 AIPAC rant, it was clear to even the sympathetic, that he had to go. Enraged by the 2024 Annual Threat Assessment of the U.S. Intelligence Community report which said that “Distrust of Netanyahu’s ability to rule has deepened and broadened across the public from its already high levels before the war, and we expect large protests demanding his resignation and new elections,” King Bibi told the assembled, “The truth of the matter is that the people of Israel overwhelmingly support the policies set forth by myself and my government. They overwhelmingly support the need for total victory. Overwhelmingly. They overwhelmingly oppose the idea of having a Palestinian state rammed down our throat.” |
