Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that the goal of the operation is “to strike Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, Iran’s ballistic missile factories, and Iran’s military capabilities.” The operation will continue as long as is needed, he said, until the mission is completed. In addition to missile and other strikes, top military and scientific leaders were targeted for assassination, both by pinpoint strikes and by Mossad squads operating in the country.
June 4, 2025 (EIRNS)—Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin finally held a telephone conversation today, June 4, three long days after the Kiev regime launched an astoundingly provocative drone attack on five Russian airbases simultaneously, which house that country’s strategic bomber fleet. Whether 40% or only 10% of Russia’s airborne nuclear capability was destroyed in the attack is irrelevant; the fact is that whoever prepared, trained and gave the final green light for Kiev’s drone operation was itching to unleash a nuclear-strategic conflict between the world’s two greatest nuclear weapons superpowers.

March 26, 2025 (EIRNS)—There is a growing drumbeat around Washington urging the Trump administration to use the recent U.S. air strikes against the Houthis in Yemen as a prelude and practice run for delivering a knock-out punch to Iran next. National Security Adviser Mike Waltz threatened on March 23 that Iran had to change its foreign policy and “walk away completely” from its nuclear program, or “there will be consequences.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly been bending the Trump administration’s ear that Iran can be “decapitated” without a full-scale war, the way the IDF did with Hezbollah and the way the Assad government in Syria was toppled.

May 29, 2024 (EIRNS)—Three “Ukrainian” drone/missile attacks in a week on Russia’s early-warning radar system—the most recent one in the early morning of May 29—have brought the world to the edge of a breakdown in global strategic security, and a nuclear war. May 15—“We are on the verge of civil war,” Slovak Interior Minister Matúš Šutaj Eštok warned gravely late Wednesday, May 15, after an attempted assassination of Prime Minister Robert Fico earlier today left him fighting for his life. “The gunman shot five times … the first information we have is that this was a politically motivated act,” Eštok stated, adding that the 71-year-old gunman decided to attack Fico following the April 6 presidential elections, which were won by Fico’s colleague Peter Pellegrini.
