June 13, 2025 (EIRNS)—Now that the Israeli hand-grenade has been successfully thrown, by British intelligence and its American Yahoo accomplices, into the dynamite-chest called “Iran,” which is actually thermonuclear confrontation with Russia by other means (since the June 1 “Ukraine” nuclear provocation, another British caper, was successfully defused by a Trump-Putin phone discussion,) has a death march to World War Three started? Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev posted on Telegram:
“I am often accused of nuclear fearmongering.
“Well, there you go!
“When I talk about nuclear conflicts, it’s not just talk. This threat is real, and it can happen fast. Nobody needs that!”
Iran has now retaliated, dealing real damage to Israel, which has already pledged to continue its attacks for several days or longer. The Death March of Folly has begun. A process that was underway to a path of negotiation, including a proposal for a resolution to how to practically deal with the Iranian enrichment problem was disrupted, if not destroyed, by war.
Haven’t we seen this movie recently—negotiations for peace, abruptly disrupted—in Ukraine? Who directs this movie? Is it the same capability that carried out September 11, 2001, assaulting the American Presidency and almost triggering World War Three, but for another phone call, between George W. Bush and Vladimir Putin, then?
In a later development yesterday, the Kremlin reported: "In light of the dangerous escalation resulting from Israel’s act of force against Iran, Vladimir Putin had telephone conversations with President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian and Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu….
“Vladimir Putin stressed that Russia condemned Israel’s actions, which had been carried out in violation of the UN Charter and international law. The Russian side has been fully supporting the efforts to resolve the situation around Iran’s nuclear programme peacefully and has proposed concrete initiatives aimed at reaching mutually acceptable agreements. Russia will continue to promote a de-escalation between Iran and Israel.
“In his conversation with the Prime Minister of Israel, the President of Russia emphasized the importance of resuming the negotiations and resolving any issues pertaining to Iran’s nuclear programme exclusively via political and diplomatic means….” The full Russian statement appears below.
Helga Zepp-LaRouche, and several other experts convened in the Friday, June 13 meeting of the International Peace Coalition, are proposing that to find a solution-concept to what, to others, might appear a thermonuclear dead-end, one must think from “the mountain-top,” go to a higher ground, or, if you prefer, create a sea in which the British sharks cannot swim. The continuous deliberations resulted in a statement, “It Is Not Too Late To Avoid a ‘Doomsday Scenario’ in the Middle East” which also appears below.
A key formulation contained in that statement, distinct from what anyone else is saying about the context of what is occurring, was offered by Zepp-LaRouche: “This is the kind of situation where a completely different approach is required. If you look at the larger context, we have seen in the recent period massive targeting of the Global South, namely the BRICS countries, who are trying to form a new economic system which is based on economic justice and equal chances for every country to develop…. I think the motive behind a lot of these crises is the fact that there is an attempt to stop the rise of a new system—the BRICS+ and so forth… I’m absolutely certain that if it’s not Ukraine, then it will be Iran or Israel, or tomorrow Taiwan or China. [This will continue] as long as we are not resolving the underlying conflict and going in the direction of establishing a new security and development architecture which, in the tradition of the Peace of Westphalia, takes into account the interests of every single country.”
It is this which constitutes the unique solution-driven approach of those associated with Executive Intelligence Review, and with the Ten Principles of a New International Strategic and Development Architecture as formulated by Helga Zepp-LaRouche. The difference between a principle, and “the art of the deal,” was well understood by American Secretary of State, and later President John Quincy Adams. In a July 4, 1821 speech, President Adams said, of the American Declaration of Independence from the British Empire:
“It is not, let me repeat, fellow-citizens, it is not the long enumeration of intolerable wrongs concentrated in this Declaration….The interest, which in this paper has survived the occasion upon which it was issued; the interest which is of every age and every clime; the interest which quickens with the lapse of years, spreads as it grows old, and brightens as it recedes, is in the principles which it proclaims.” Of America, Adams said, “she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy. She well knows that by once enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign Independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication, in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy, and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standard of freedom. The fundamental maxims of her policy would insensibly change from liberty to force. The frontlet upon her brow would no longer beam with the ineffable splendor of Freedom and Independence; but in its stead would soon be substituted an Imperial Diadem, flashing in false and tarnished lustre the murky radiance of dominion and power. She might become the dictatress of the world. She would be no longer the ruler of her own spirit.”
Adams’s words are a stinging indictment of our present actions, and a warning: If the world is to survive, even in the short term, we must make the American Presidency independent from the British Empire, including its Assassination Bureau, once again.
