May 27, 2025 (EIRNS)—In the last 36 hours, the new German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has announced that Germany, France, the U.S. and the U.K. have all eliminated any limits on the range of missiles to be fired by Ukraine into Russia. Shortly after that, his Vice Chancellor announced that this was not the policy, and after that Merz changed his tune, and said that this wasn’t a new policy, and he was referring to something from before, when Biden was President.

As expected, it is taking more than 24 hours to end the fighting in Ukraine.  A change in strategy is needed urgently!
