March 29, 2025 (EIRNS)—It took just 22 days after Donald Trump’s inauguration during his first presidency for the British and their allies in the U.S. “permanent bureaucracy” to score a direct hit to try to sink his administration, by fabricating a scandal to force the retirement of his National Security Adviser Gen. Michael Flynn.
In the second Trump presidency, it took a little over two months for the same apparatus to launch a similar political torpedo, in the form of the “SignalGate” scandal. Again, the British and their American allies want to “blind” Trump by destroying his chosen intelligence team: Tulsi Gabbard at ODNI; Kash Patel at FBI; John Ratcliffe at CIA; and others.
What is the issue? The British Empire is alarmed at signs that President Trump is breaking the U.S.-U.K. “special relationship,” and has instead initiated a sovereign political relationship with Russian President Putin—and could soon do the same with China’s Xi Jinping—which threatens their control over the global architecture.
We provide the following critical intelligence report to help readers locate the answer to that question.
Americans need to ask themselves: Why would former MI6 Chief Sir Richard Dearlove insist that the U.S. and Israel can together overthrow the Iranian government and bomb its nuclear facilities, no problem?
Dearlove is a known liar, an enemy of the United States and of President Trump, in particular. Remember Dearlove’s role in orchestrating the lying Steele Dossier used to set off “Russiagate?” His documented assurance in July 2002 that no one need worry that the evidence being cited to justify the invasion of Iraq was “thin,” because “the intelligence and facts are being fixed around the policy?”
EIR issued an all-points bulletin three days ago, on March 26, that the “decapitate Iran” strategy currently popular in Washington, D.C., is a British strategy to “decapitate” the Trump administration. Sir Dearlove’s March 21 interview with the U.K.’s Jewish Chronicle confirms EIR’s warning in spades.
Dearlove reminds us that Great Britain has “always had a closer relationship with Israel than people might realize.” He describes Iran as “the primary destabilizing force in the Middle East…. If we see the end of the theocracy in Iran, one way or another, the Middle East will look rather different and will be less of a geopolitical problem and less of an existential threat to Israel,” he promises.
Dearlove retailed two key lies being used to sell the “strike Iran” package in Washington:
• That Israel had “very, very seriously disrupted and taken down” Iran’s capabilities in the region with its own decapitation strategy applied elsewhere. For example, he praised Israel’s booby-trapped pagers operation as having succeeded in a “near-demolition” of Hezbollah. (Did he play a personal role in that “very cleverly conceived” operation? He revealed to the Jewish Chronicle that “shortly after he retired from MI6, he was invited to Israel as part of security discussions following the aftermath of the 2006 Lebanon war. He insisted with a smile that he ‘couldn’t go into detail’ about why he was there, but said that the Israelis ‘really got their act together’ after that war in confronting the threat posed by Hezbollah.”)
• That the Sunni Arab leadership “have realized … that the Middle East’s best hope of controlling Iran and maybe getting a reasonable regime in Iran in the future is the alliance between the U.S. and Israel,” and the Arab nations are just waiting to sign onto the Abraham Accords once the Iranian government is taken out.
He forecasts: “Trump and Israel together are not going to allow Iran to develop a nuclear capability…. I link the existence of Iran’s continuing pursuit of a nuclear capability with the survival of the theocratic regime…. If there eventually is an Israeli-American move against this capability … I think that there is a crunch point.”
Dearlove is not shy about “making the intelligence and the facts fit the policy.” The U.K. government must issue a total ban on pro-Palestinian demonstrations in the U.K., he angrily demands, adding “I haven’t got clear-cut evidence” that Iran and the Shi’a clerics in the U.K. are organizing the demonstrations, but hey, “there is the possibility” they may be.
