While Biden lied that he is doing everything possible to end the war in Ukraine and get a ceasefire in Gaza, other world leaders denounced the wars backed by those running the U.S. government and their allies, such as Zelensky and Netanyahu. The potential for the emergence of a new security and development architecture was evident from the stance of leaders from the Global South -- will the populations in the "Global North" demand that their governments stop escalating wars, and reach out to collaborate with the sovereign nations of the Global South? As the U.N. session is unfolding, leaked documents from agencies of the State Department confirm that Secretary of State Blinken lied when he said there is no evidence Israel was blocking humanitarian assistance to the starving children in Gaza.
