Two meetings in the last days offer a snapshot of the opposing outlooks shaping global strategic policy. The Ukraine Defense Contact Group met at Ramstein Air Base, to escalate their war to weaken Russia, to defend the "Rules-Based Order," while 120 nations met in Uganda as the Non-Aligned Movement, calling for an end to Israel's war of aggression in Gaza and cooperation from all nations to end poverty: more geopolitical confrontation from the self-proclaimed "democracies", versus a commitment to achieving a new strategic and development architecture for peace.
