Nov. 13—The facts speak for themselves. The British and American governments are deliberately and knowingly allowing Netanyahu’s Israel to commit war crimes in full view of the entire planet, crimes so heinous they are a moral blot on all humanity, and lead us to cry out: What ever happened to “Never Again!”? They are doing this “in full technicolor,” as used to be said, to send a simple message to the entire world: “Anybody else want to rebel against the City of London and Wall Street?”
They are sending that message at the precise moment that the BRICS grouping is about to expand to become the BRICS-11 on Jan. 1, 2024, and is gaining decisive international momentum towards creating a new international security and development architecture that the global financial Establishment fears more than anything else. It is a new architecture that is being built by different nations and civilizations around a common concept of Man: as a creative, moral being—made, in that sense, in the image of his Creator.
The City of London and Wall Street financial Establishment disagrees. They view Man as a beast whose numbers must be limited, Malthus style, and they would wipe out all worldviews—emphatically including the three great monotheistic religions—that believe otherwise. Induced religious warfare—Jew against Muslim; Christian against both; each against all—is their historic stock in trade. Back in 2001 (and even earlier) Lyndon LaRouche warned that London had activated their so-called “breakaway ally” scenario for Israel, which their agent-of-influence U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger developed in 1974-75, and that this had become an urgent danger throughout the region. According to this scenario, Israel would launch a “preemptive” war against its Arab neighbors, and then say to the United States, in effect, “We have started the war; now you are going to have to fight it!”
That is now occurring under conditions which threaten a general religious war throughout the region and beyond.
This simple, strategic reality dictates the proper course of action: Organize the entire planet to immediately demand the butchery stop in Gaza; and organize to equally immediately hold an international conference to bring about that new global architecture. Now.
China has issued a call for an immediate international conference which points in that direction. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning stated on Nov. 13 that “China’s position is very much similar to that of the vast Arab, Islamic and African developing countries.” The semi-official Global Times emphasized the same point in the words of Liu Zhongmin, a professor at Shanghai International Studies University: “The most feasible way for the international community to force Israel to stop, is to pass resolutions in the UN Security Council and to impose constraints on Israel, so that the pressure will be meaningful; otherwise, condemnation and words are definitely not enough.”
Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi commented on Washington’s much-publicized calls for “moderation” and not expanding the war, noting that “these statements are not consistent with America’s actions…. The war machine in Gaza is in the hands of America, which is preventing a ceasefire in Gaza and expanding the war.” Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas likewise said that the United States, “which has the greatest influence on Israel, bears responsibility for the absence of a political solution…. My mind cannot believe that this is happening under the eyes and ears of the world, without calling for an immediate halt to this brutal war.”
Helga Zepp-LaRouche summarized the situation in a dialogue with associates on Nov. 13: “The situation is rapidly, very rapidly worsening, and I think it looks extremely, extremely dangerous. Because right now we are on a course of complete escalation into a regional war. And the whole situation is so much on the edge that my absolute horror vision is that, once you are in a regional war, that it will not remain there. Because if it involves Iran, I have said this many times, that is the tripwire to world war. That is where we are at.”
She stressed that every day that we do not stop the carnage, our humanity is being lost, when “the one country that could stop it is the United States.”
Zepp-LaRouche continued: “The Global Majority is also watching this. The people who are now acting like pigs, in terms of ignoring this genocide going on against children and others, this is not going to be forgotten! You can’t do all these things and think that it doesn’t have an impact. This is doing lasting damage to the reputation of all of those who are condoning it or committing it. And that will be a strategic factor as well.”
She concluded: “To a very large extent—not entirely, but to a large extent—it is up to us to give people the inner strength to act in such a way that the influence they put on the situation means there is hope for the future of humanity. Given that the U.S. is the most crucial battlefield—not the only one, but the most crucial one—you should give people that sense. The world looks to you: Are you condoning what is going on, or not? We have an enormous moment, and we are in an absolutely revolutionary period and a better coalition of nations may soon be on top.”
