What is the Real Reason Behind Zelensky's Visit?
During Zelensky's trip to Washington D.C. yesterday, much fanfare was made about the Ukrainian leader and his struggle against Russia. But what was actually behind the trip? Many different parts of the pro-war establishment made it clear yesterday that the trip is to clear the way for even more full-throated support for Ukraine from the United States government, despite very moderate opposition, and even considers that President Biden's nervousness about nuclear war is a "problem" to be dealt with.
This is all bringing the world even more dangerously close to an all-out war between the U.S. and Russia, and possibly we are seeing the beginning of a major escalation to take place over the Christmas period. Every voice of sanity available must come forth and weigh in at this moment to stop further arms deliveries, especially the just-announced Patriot missiles, and demand that the Pope's offer to hold peace talks at the Vatican be taken up.
