A Period of Breakouts for the LaRouche Movement
Nov. 1—A series of breakouts for the LaRouche movement has come in the weeks following the October 15 Schiller Institute Conference “Build the New Paradigm: Defeat Green Fascism,” which had a catalytic, inspirational effect on experienced activists and the growth of a new LaRouche Youth Movement. And that potential is vectored through the campaign of LaRouche candidate for U.S. Senate Diane Sare.
The threat of civilization-ending thermonuclear war has been forcefully brought into the public conversation through effective interventions at offline events held by U.S. senators, representatives, and a past president, as well as through organizing in the other contemporary town square — the internet. Millions of people have now seen their leaders challenged to take seriously their responsibility to chart a course for the nation that does not lead to nuclear Armageddon, and seen the failure of those leaders to rise to the challenge. The Congressional Progressive Caucus’s issuing a bland letter meekly calling for increased emphasis on negotiations to resolve the crisis, then “clarifying” the letter, and then retracting it entirely, all within 24 hours.
If you’re looking for leadership, particularly in the United States, you’ll have to provide it yourself!
Diane Sare’s feisty and polemical campaign to unseat the despicable Chuck Schumer has drawn an increasing rate of media coverage, with recent media coverage spreading as far as Russia and Pakistan. A recent poll by the Trafalgar Group — held after Sunday’s non-debate in Albany, from which she was excluded — puts Sare at over 5% support among New Yorkers.
Jackson Hinkle, a popular streamer who spoke at the October 15 conference, dedicated his Tuesday stream to the theme “he was right,” referring to Lyndon LaRouche, around whose January 2000 campaign speech in Connecticut Hinkle organized the show.
“Lyndon LaRouche, for those of you who don’t know him,” he explained, “was a great visionary, ran for president, a great thinker…. He envisioned a world in which … we would, as humans, tap into our unlimited potentiality for growth, and creativity, and build a brighter future by working with the economic powerhouses of the world, the commodities producers of the world, to produce a more prosperous environment for all.”
The US-UK-NATO opposition to the new paradigm taking over the world appears more ridiculous, and becomes more dangerous every day. China has forcefully denounced the U.S. National Defense Strategy, which sees China as “the most comprehensive and serious challenge to U.S. national security” through its supposedly “coercive and increasingly aggressive endeavor to refashion the Indo-Pacific region and the international system to suit its interests and authoritarian preferences.”
Russia has called out Britain for its role in the attack on Sevastopol and the destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines, demanding to know whether then-Prime Minister Liz Truss sent a celebratory text to Secretary of State Blinken.
Meanwhile, the United States publicly has military boots on the ground in Ukraine, in the form of inspectors deployed to keep an eye on the enormous quantities of weapons sent to that nation, weapons that are finding their way into the hands of extremists (that is, besides those Ukrainian extremists who are their intended recipients) and criminals. This may not technically be a military deployment, but if Russia launches a strike against a weapons depot and kills these Americans, what will be the response?
The longer this needless conflict continues, the greater the risk of civilization-ending nuclear warfare.
It is time to end this threat, by working together internationally to establish a new paradigm under which the noösphere of Ukrainian-Russian Academician Vladimir Vernadsky is developed through scientific advancement and great infrastructure projects. The Schiller Institute will be hosting on November 12 a conference on Reviving the Heritage of Vladimir Vernadsky.
This is a time for action, and action now!
