What Vision, What Purpose, Will Animate the Revolutionary Transformation the World Is Undergoing?

Oct. 4—“The world has entered a period of a fundamental, revolutionary transformation,” said Vladimir Putin on September 30, as he stood at the Kremlin with the leaders of Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporozhye. “New centers of power are emerging,” he declared. “They represent the majority — the majority! — of the international community.”
Earlier, speaking at the SCO meeting in Samarkand last month, Putin had asserted, “Global politics and economy are about to undergo fundamental and irreversible changes.”
Back in February, Putin and Xi Jinping said in a joint statement, “Today the world is going through momentous changes … and humanity is entering a new era of rapid development and profound transformation. There is increasing interrelation and interdependence between the states; a trend has emerged toward redistribution of power in the world.”
What form will this now ongoing redistribution take?
Will the world be subjected to a multipolarity of feuding states, each seeking to expand its own empire and sphere of influence? Or can “multipolarity” of an entirely different sort altogether obtain in the coming world?
Where the blinkered slaves of the Anglo-American/NATO world order see only the imagined projections of their own purposeless pursuit of power, those living in a new paradigm see a community of sovereign nation states, each committed to the actual well-being of its citizens and of the world community, recognizing that through peace comes security and through the improvement of others comes lasting happiness.
The LaRouche movement has for decades worked for such a vision, through an application of physical economic principles and through engaging in and fostering meaningful dialogue among leaders and citizens around the world.
Were the drive for war defeated, and its emotionally defective promoters provided different, more salubrious pursuits, the world stands on the edge of the greatest Renaissance it has ever seen, a humanity brimming with potential.
It is the power of that vision to move people, that leads the evil and blind old paradigm to attempt to crush its exponents.
Hence the attacks on those who seek peace, on those who promote cooperation along the World Land-Bridge. These attacks, directed from Anglo-American centers, are carried out — as are military operations against Russia — through Ukrainian foot soldiers, such as the Center for Countering Disinformation and the Myrotvorets hitlist.
The LaRouche movement is coordinating efforts to expose and render powerless this operation, through events this Thursday and Friday, and through a future- and youth-oriented conference next Saturday.
