Regime Change or a Paradigm Shift?

Leading Developments

Aug. 17—Were the events of January 6, 2021—and the four years leading into it—an exercise in regime change within the United States? While Trump is certainly no Lyndon LaRouche or Abraham Lincoln, what was the potential represented by his administration that demanded years of Russiagate, two phony impeachments, and now an over-the-top FBI raid on his home?

An article in Revolver News, building on Aug. 1 research by Julie Kelly at American Greatness, paints a truly ominous picture of what was intended for January 6. Although nearly forgotten today—and certainly not a focus of the fraudulent January 6 committee—pipe bombs were supposedly discovered at the headquarters of both the Republican and Democratic Parties at precisely the time that the Capitol’s perimeter was breached. In fact, the police response to the first bomb discovery occurred only minutes before that breach.

How would those bombs have been incorporated into the narrative, had the events of that day taken the truly violent turn intended by its authors? Does their omission from the ensuing story-telling give a hint as to what story they were intended to be an element? What would be the state of “democracy” today in the U.S.—already gravely threatened—had that story come into being?

From that standpoint, consider the proxy war between Russia and Anglo-American-led NATO, presently manifesting itself in Ukraine, a war which originated not in a February decision by Vladimir Putin, and not even in the 2014 Maidan coup (although dating it to that event would be less inaccurate).

The attacks on Trump, and the conflict playing out in Ukraine, come from a similar origin as the drive to create conflict where none exists with China, and the push to destroy agriculture, industry, economy, and human population generally under the guise of “saving the planet” (for whom?) under green pretenses.

A crucial inflection point in this process—and a key to understand what drives it—was the 1986 raid by hundreds of state and federal officers on the offices and home of Lyndon and Helga LaRouche. What powerful threat did the LaRouche movement pose, and to what established order?

What threat is posed today by the LaRouche movement, now headed by Helga Zepp-LaRouche, whose collaborators composed the opening two-fifths of the enemies list recently posted by Ukraine’s misnamed “Center for Combatting Disinformation”?

Learn the scope of the enormous potential for a future crafted by the power of reason this Saturday, Aug. 20, as Helga Zepp-LaRouche addresses a special online event in celebration of the 75th anniversary of Indian independence.

Don’t React to Events: Move History as a Statesman Would

May 22, 2025 (EIRNS)—All great thinkers, be they scientists, musicians, poets, or statesmen, know that it is ideas, and not events, that shape the unfolding of history. You, too, must rise to the occasion of today’s historical punctum saliens and think like a statesman: What is the top down, epistemological fight that is driving, as if by an invisible and deep current, the intersection, interaction, and unfolding of actions on the visible world stage?
