May 1—A small number of people are implementing a policy that, if not stopped, will destroy much or all of humanity in a devastating nuclear war.
If decisive changes are not made, the trajectory of the world leads over that cliff from which there is no return. And the criminally insane grouping goading the world towards war want to prevent you from stopping them.
The economic devastation continues, with double-digit inflation rates driven by the financialization of the economy, low-quality “green” energy, and the imperial sanctions leveled nominally against Russia, but which are striking nearly the entire planet, driving up prices for food, fertilizer, energy, and raw materials.
Perhaps taking a page from Ukraine, where a dozen parties have been banned, hundreds of journalists and citizens sanctioned, and television stations are told exactly what they may broadcast, a new censorship wave is hitting NATO-land.
Media platforms and activists are now being shut down—not by Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube—but by PayPal, which has without warning closed the accounts of Mint Press News, Caleb Maupin, and now Consortium News.
A Disinformation Governance Board is being created by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, to provide even more direct instructions to internet companies of what is and what is not “disinformation”—as determined by the infallible authority of its newly announced chief Nina Jankowicz, who herself has worked with Ukraine and against Russia and Belarus in the information warfare sphere.
A delegation of U.S. legislators, led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, appeared in Kyiv to ensure that President Zelenskyy not even consider a negotiated peace, not while a deluge of weapons can be provided, to fight and bleed Russia, down to the last Ukrainian.
Opposing this potentially civilization-ending policy is denounced as spreading Russian propaganda. Acting forcefully to stop the headlong rush into nuclear war is denounced as acting as Putin’s puppet.
It is easy to adopt an anti-war stance in general, but it is extremely difficult to stand up against censorship, social and professional pressure, and wartime propaganda.
It is the inner knowledge that humanity is made for something better—the internal conviction that our future lies in scientific, technological, and cultural progress—the informed commitment to dedicating one’s life to humanity’s beautiful future of abundance and meaningful work—that allows one to stand up against this war, and for a new architecture of security and development for all nations of this planet.
Will you commit yourself to work with the LaRouche movement to build an alliance to defeat this war drive and collaborate in launching the greatest economic boom the world has ever known—achieving worldwide development in a single generation?
