We have had several brief moments of opportunity in the last 120 years to break from the deadly geopolitical/neoliberal vector imposed on mankind by the City of London and its allies. One was lost in 1989 to 1992, when promises to Russia were broken, in favor of an expansion of NATO, and imposition of a London-Wall St. imperial financial architecture. Another occurred 100 years ago today, with the Russian-German Treaty of Rapallo, which was countered by the assassination of one of its architects, and Anglo-American corporatist economic policies, which put the world on course to World War II. What can we learn from these lost moments of opportunity, to overcome an even greater tragic outcome today?
