The recent ongoing and public discussions about “the feasibility of using small-scale nuclear weapons “ in Ukraine and elsewhere have caused the world to ask: Have the present, woefully-inept national executives of the transatlantic world lost the moral capacity to survive?
The fatal adherence to the false axioms undergirding the twin failed policies of the 20th —monetarism and geopolitics—was properly termed “The March of Folly” by historian Barbara Tuchman. 40 years ago, Lyndon LaRouche proposed a “higher peace movement,” whose technological optimism proposed the Strategic Defense Initiative solution to otherwise certain thermonuclear annihilation. It would have required an industrial revolution in the modern workplace, using new physical principles that upgraded the power of labor.
It is still not too late to propose such an economic development architecture as the core guarantee of a new security architecture to replace NATO and other relics of British imperialism that still allows foolish old men to sacrifice the future of the world on the altar of unpayable debt and unattainable dreams of world domination.
Elliot Greenspan of the LaRouche Manhattan Project, and Dave Christie, Vice President of TLO, joined us tonight to discuss.
