March 30—The precious indications of sanity are popping up, like early spring flowers. The ten ASEAN countries, meeting in Indonesia on the level of Finance Ministers and Central Bank governors, escalated their arrangements for trade in local currencies—delinking from the dollar, the pound, the euro, and the yen. Indonesian President Joko Widodo was most explicit about the simple reality that the geopolitical craziness that seizes Russia’s foreign reserves must not be allowed to loot their ASEAN countries.
While Global NATO leaders plot wars against sovereign nations at the Summit for Democracy, nations of the new Global Majority meet to create a new development architecture
There is no chance of the survival of the U.S. dollar in its current state, except to be used as toilet paper! Let us cooperate with "Global Majority" in creating the new system.
March 29—Wise nations and peoples know that when the United States begins to lecture others on “democracy,” the polite thing to do is to quickly go find a toilet before things get ugly. This week’s “Summit For Democracy” is just such an event. In fact, it is so hypocritical, that even wholly rotten outlets like the Washington Post and Financial Times cringed at the thought. One member of the Council on Foreign Relations went so far as to say that, “The summit for democracy is a bad idea that [won’t] go away.”
Is the Russia-China strategic partnership a threat to you? Only if you are a corrupt billionaire, or a puppet who serves their neocolonial "Rules-Based Order"!
When listening to the posturing coming from western governments at the "Summit for Democracy", one wonders if any of them believe the nonsense they are spouting!
March 28—The United States is hosting its second “Submit for Democracy” event, drawing ridicule for the composition of its guest list, the overwhelming hypocrisy permeating the discussions, and the wild contortions required to present the word “democracy” as meaning, in the words of Lewis Carroll in his Through the Looking Glass, “just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.” Samantha Power will lecture attendees on the “rule of law.” Antony Blinken will hold an event with President Zelenskyy to explain why the war must go on (expressing this sentiment through the rejection of any actual means of achieving peace). Deputy U.S. Attorney General Lisa Monaco spoke about efforts to prevent the more than one hundred million U.S. users of Tiktok from continuing to communicate via the platform. An event on the internet will claim that democracies must “stand against the misuse of technology to repress, control, divide, and disenfranchise” — as the Twitter Files have shown the U.S. to have done. The Netherlands, a member of the European Union that has banned RT and Sputnik, will lead an event on how “freedom of expression and media freedom are a precondition for a well-functioning democracy and a free society.”
Tony Blair and George W. Bush and their teams of neocon war hawks, many of whom are still active today in promoting NATO's war in Ukraine against Russia, are correctly seen by most of the world as war criminals, who have inexplicably not been brought to trial for their crimes—while the ICC, founded in part due to the initiative of George Soros' Open Society NGO, has indicted Putin for removing defenseless children from a war zone!
The destructive collapse of the failed, neoliberal financial system continues, as the U.S. Senate begins its official investigation into the bank failures of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, along with Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank facing crises on the European side of the Transatlantic.
March 26—Swiss law required that Credit Suisse’s shareholders vote on the takeover by UBS, but UBS would not participate in the forced marriage without massive government financial commitments and a massive loss to Credit Suisse’s shareholders. The latter would not be approved by the shareholders. What’s a government to do? In a flash, they simply rewrote the law, eliminating the vote.
As Global NATO continues pushing its fictitious narrative of the Western democracies vs the dictatorships in the East, the only people benefiting from Westren Democracy are the profiteers from Wall Street and the City of London.
March 25—The Global Majority is on the move. This term refers to those nations and billions of people committed to respectful and mutually beneficial development, and who reject the confrontationism of Global NATO. In this new spirit, numbers of concrete actions—projects, conferences and commitments—are taking place.
March 24—Three weeks from today, the Schiller institute will convene the conference, “Without the Development of All Nations, There Can Be No Lasting Peace for the Planet.” Another, separate conference, is also proposed by Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche, in her “Call for an International Emergency Conference To Reorganize the Bankrupt Financial System.” The April 15 conference shall convene those world citizens who recognize the necessity to organize the second conference, no matter how improbable the success of that conference might appear, judging from the present behavior of the visible leadership in the United States and Europe. China, Russia, the United States, India and other nations must attend. How is that possible?
March 23—Forty years ago today, President Reagan shocked the world, announcing that the United States would make nuclear weapons “impotent and obsolete,” employing advanced scientific principles (lasers, plasma physics, electromagnetic pulses, etc.) to make it an order of magnitude cheaper to kill missiles than to build them. Further, the strategic defense systems would be provided to the Russians—then the communist U.S.S.R. Reagan had adopted the program as designed, laid out, and campaigned for by Lyndon LaRouche.
As U.S./NATO governments insist on acceptance of their "rules", the revolt against their arbitrary "order" is growing, as multilateral diplomatic efforts bear fruit.
President #Xi of #China and president #Putin of #Russia met this past week to discuss their plans for cooperation and leading the #world majority into a new just economic system, leaving behind the #U.S. and #NATO’s speculative financial bubble in the dust.
March 22—Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping wrapped up two-days of intense summit meetings in Moscow on Wednesday, March 22, and announced a fruitful strengthening of their bilateral relationship on all fronts, along with a call for the international community to recognize that, “to settle the Ukraine crisis, the legitimate security concerns of all countries must be respected,” as their Joint Statement on strategic issues asserted. The two leaders stated that it was necessary to “update and improve the international security architecture,” and they specifically called for urgent consideration of China’s 12-point peace proposal for Ukraine.
March 21—To get a sense of how rapidly the world is changing, and how the idea of a world without geopolitics is asserting itself, look back at the developments over the last month.
