The 'Reichstag Fire' False Flag event of January 6 provided a pretext for the imperial forces of the so-called Military Industrial Complex to shift to a New Fascism, to suppress opposition to its Schachtian austerity policies and new wars.

The following is an edited version of the presentation given by The LaRouche Organization’s Harley Schlanger to the weekly Saturday Manhattan Project Town Hall of The LaRouche Organization: I’m going to give a summary view of the intent of the military-industrial complex behind the January 6th Reichstag Fire event at the U.S. Capitol, and the rush to judgement impeachment. What unfolded is classic British counterinsurgency strategy.Let’s begin with January 6th. This was a pretext for the next phase of a fascist coup…. Let me take you back to some statements Lyndon LaRouche made in 1971 following Richard Nixon’s ill-fated decision to end the Bretton Woods system and move the United States into an economy of floating exchange rates, speculation, and what was in reality a post-industrial economy. This is something that LaRouche was warning about, had forecast would happen. When it happened, he was very clear on what needed to be done. Most importantly, what he identified as the contributing factors, were the decision of the global financial oligarchy to move into an era of environmentalism, post-industrial economy, and neo-Malthusianism. That is, global depopulation. And he identified that if this were not reversed, we would be heading to fascism. Not fascism as the image most people have of jack-booted soldiers marching with a swastika, but fascism as an economic system typified by the role of Hitler’s Minister of Finance, Hjalmar Schacht, who was the choice of the London-New York banking crowd to oversee the phase shift in Germany from an industrial republic to a destructive force targetting all of Europe and the United States. It was that policy which was the policy of the corporate cartels. What we’ve seen in the United States since LaRouche made that warning in 1971, is a series of phase shifts economically and politically. I’m just going to identify a couple of those which are the more important ones. One of them was the mid- to late-1980s, when the Democratic Party adopted what they called the Third Way. Dump the policies of Franklin Roosevelt and John F Kennedy, that were committed to the idea of uplifting the conditions for the whole of the population, and instead became “neo-liberals”—essentially dependent on money from Wall Street, and carrying out policies for the benefit of the wealthiest, including the bankers and financiers. That was the shift that brought us the Clinton administration; Al Gore was key in setting that up. The second phase shift was after 9/11. This was another forecast LaRouche made, that there would be a move toward a fascist policy following a Reichstag Fire event, which we saw with 9/11. The Patriot Act, which was introduced then, was based on something that Joe Biden authored in 1995, called the Omnibus Counterterrorism Act, which called for an expansion of the FISA [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act], but most importantly it identified terrorism as based on political beliefs. So, when the Patriot Act was passed and pushed by John Ashcroft, he contacted Biden to try to get Democratic support for it, and Biden agreed. We know what it means to have not just the mass surveillance, but the use of social media to manipulate the way people think and act. We also had the permanent wars launched as a result of the Reichstag Fire on September 11, 2001; permanent wars that we were in and still are in. But it became the basis of Donald Trump’s victory in 2016, by appealing to the American people based on their being tired of war, tired of austerity, saying that we are going to end these wars and rebuild our nation. That was responded to by the military-industrial complex, the Deep State, the swamp, or what we call the British Empire, by launching Russiagate to get rid of Donald Trump. We identified this from the beginning as a regime-change coup that intended not just to defeat Trump, but to change the country, to demoralize his supporters, and to prevent the United States from asserting its national sovereignty and building its economic power based on the principles of the American System. Let’s jump ahead to what happened January 6th. There was a perfectly legitimate contest in the Congress, which has been launched by the Democrats before. This was not unprecedented, challenging the certification of the electors. The Democrats did it in 2004, in the Bush-Kerry election, and in 2016. But to read the mass media, or watch the television coverage, it was as though this was some kind of absolute break with the traditions of American history. But it was a Constitutionally-defined action that was being taken. But what did happen was the event at the Capitol building. Now, there are many unanswered questions, and I just want to pose a couple of them without going into great detail. These were brought up by the investigative journalist John Solomon. He pointed out that the New York Police Department, the Capitol Police, and the FBI all had advance warnings that there could be violent protests at the Capitol when these hearings took place on January 6th. Keep in mind, on the FBI, this in itself can be somewhat suspicious, given that we know that the FBI repeatedly deploys people into organizations to be provocateurs. They did this with the civil rights movement; they did it with the people fighting the civil rights movement. They’ve done it with the left and right historically. It does clearly appear as though there were provocateurs in these riots. Just keep in mind that the FBI supposedly had advance notice. But here are the questions you have to look at. Why was there not more robust security if there had been these advance warnings? The Capitol Police chief, Stephen Sund, reported that he went to the House and Senate security leaders, personally, and suggested they bring in more police, possibly the National Guard. He was rebuffed. So, there was not an adequate police presence at the Capitol when this started. But secondly, if you look at the timeline, the first assault on the Capitol began while President Trump was still speaking. He was speaking for an additional 20 minutes when people started swarming into the Capitol building. The question Solomon asked is, "How can you be accused of inciting something that was preplanned, and started before he supposedly said the words that incited the crowd. This was not an incitement; it was a provocation. And that’s why we see this as a Reichstag Fire. What was the result of what happened on January 6th? Well, the attempt to get rid of Trump moved ahead. The idea of impeaching someone in the last days of office is somewhat of a strange conception. But we know that Pelosi has been intending this for a long time. What was more than an attack on Trump, was an attempt to criminalize a movement. He got 75 million votes, and by presenting him as a madman, as a rioter and insurrectionist, by implication they’re saying that anyone who voted for him was crazy, was an insurrectionist, was a potential danger. They criminalized the opposition to the policies, by making it appear that if you didn’t go along with the Pelosi-Schumer agenda, you’re a potential criminal or potential terrorist. They’re out to change the Constitution, especially in the way elections are run. And the censorship policy which was brought in, was designed to cut people off from an ability to communicate; to even discuss ideas. If you challenge the counting of the vote, you might be a terrorist, and suspect, and possibly get your access to internet platforms cut. Finally, the effect of this will be to increase the radicalization of some Trump supporters, and set the phase for more violence in the future. It will be done to justify more surveillance, more preemptive measures, and so on. Now look, what was the Trump movement? It was people who were angry at watching the country go to hell; watching the cities collapse, the health care system be torn apart. Our young men and women being sent to wars that are unwinnable; fighting for goals that are never specified, by politicians who never served in the military, and really don’t care about the problems they’re creating for the nation. So, you create an environment of polarization and radicalization. The other aspect of classic British gang-countergang strategy is, you do it with the left and the right. You have left and right radicals, who are fed by this process. We’ve seen it with the Black Lives Matter and Antifa. We see it on the right with the Q movement and militias. Many of the people who get caught up in these things are people who legitimately are concerned about what they see as a collapse of the system, collapse of society, but who feel helpless to act through standard political means, because the political system itself is so corrupted by big money on both sides; the left and the right. So, what happens? Let’s look at this QAnon just for a moment. I know this is going to aggravate some people, probably enrage others. But you better face it now. If you were angry and frustrated and looking for some answers, many people turn to QAnon, because it seemed to have an explanation of what was going on in the attacks on Donald Trump. But what was it really? It’s a classic British operation of psychological warfare. It engaged people in a kind of political video game. A world of warcraft for politics, where people were encouraged to watch what was going on; were given drops of information—little bits and pieces. Which, by the way, were available in other places besides the QAnon postings. But think about what was said. There are 30 sealed indictments, 100 sealed indictments, 300 sealed indictments. Now I’m told they’re saying there are over 220,000 sealed indictments. That’s a lot of sealed indictments. How come people haven’t been going to prison? We were told there would be mass arrests; we were told that Biden and Hillary Clinton are wearing ankle bracelets. That Gina Haspel, the CIA Director, was killed in a nonexistent shoot-out in Frankfurt, Germany. If she wasn’t killed, she was sent down to Gitmo. Some of them say the Pope has been killed or replaced by a hologram. And what we’re also told is, don’t worry about the chaos, the good guys are coming to the rescue. Trust the plan. The hook was the attack on the corruption of a broken-down system, but there was not a strategic perspective. People were not organized around a counter strategy, other than wait for the good guys and cheer them on, and in the meantime, become informed. A lot of people did become awakened by the victory of Donald Trump and the events that took place afterwards. Much was exposed about the corruption in the intelligence community. The Clinton, Obama and Bush networks in both parties. The corruption coming from the United Kingdom. But there were diversions; attempts to point people in different directions. And instead of going after the people pulling the strings, you went after some of the puppets, who were the ones the string-pullers were putting in your face. What is the ultimate plan of the people who ran this? To push through the Great Reset. To establish a global bankers’ dictatorship that will essentially give the power to the people behind the central banks, but also in the corporate cartels. Give them the power over not only the circulation and the production of credit, but where it’s spent; where the money is spent. Eliminate the role of parliaments and governments and the Congress to make policy. Why? Because they’re too pliable to trying to answer some of the demands of their constituents. Put it instead in the hands of technocrats run by the banks, so that we can have the kind of austerity that will not only allow them to pay off their debts, but kill off whole sections of the population. They don’t intend to have a sound economy; that’s not what the World Economic Forum and the Davos billionaires intend. They intend to radically reduce the world’s population. That’s their plan; a bankers’ dictatorship. So, while people were caught in the left-right gangs and countergangs, this is what has been going on in the background. There are still people who are saying, “You’re wrong. You wait and see, there’s going to be an insurrection act, there’s going to be martial law, mass arrests in the next week.” Well, if it happens, we’ll see. I don’t believe it, and I think many of you are going to have a rude awakening when you realize you’ve been played by the same people who ran the impeachment against Donald Trump. The same people who have wrecked our economy and put the United States into the category of a mere banana republic with the manipulations they’ve carried out over the recent weeks and months. We have a strategy at The LaRouche Organization; we have a program. And it starts with two points. Know your enemy and how they think, and how they manipulate you. And secondly, how do we revive the American System of physical economics, which was the great contribution that Lyndon LaRouche made in his many years in politics and statecraft in the United States?

The second impeachment of President Trump has nothing to do with the accusation that he engaged in "incitement of insurrection" — how do you incite something that was pre-planned, and known to be operational? It was the latest in a string of frauds, e.g. Russiagate, Impeachment 1.0, etc. — designed to bring the U.S. back into full participation in wars and geopolitical provocations, and financial swindles, run by global corporate cartels, which now include those Big Tech firms run by Davos billionaires and hedge funds. Their system is collapsing, so they are racing to set up the "Great Reset."

Yesterday afternoon, the House of Representatives voted up impeachment against President Donald Trump 232 to 197, just seven days before his term ends in any case, and the latest in a string of operations to nullify the U.S. Presidency, involving baseless accusations against Trump of Russiagate, the Mueller Report, racism, impeachment I, and now, impeachment II.Regarding this latest instance, every hour, more comes out verifying how the “insurrection” that Trump is accused of inciting—in today’s single article of impeachment against him—was in fact a staged affair. It was part of an overall orchestration of events and personalities to whip up a popular frenzy in which “emergency management” can be imposed upon the American people and institutions. This is the nature of what was done in the historic case of the Reichstag fire in 1933, and in the aftermath of Sept. 11, 2001. This is what we are up against now, and can defeat, provided we understand it “from the top,” and take countermeasures from the highest level. The Big Tech social and regular media companies—an arm of London/Wall Street and intelligence networks—have blatantly moved in to shut down communications of President Trump, and thousands of others. We received a report tonight that a CNN commentator declared after the impeachment and other anti-Trump actions, “We will make Trump disappear, just like we made outlaw Lyndon LaRouche go away.” So much for what they know. Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador issued a ringing denunciation of the madness, and lawlessness of the communications crackdown underway in the United States, saying this morning that, “the Statue of Liberty is turning red with anger, because it does not want to be turned into an empty symbol…. Freedom is even in the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.” Investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald said last evening on Fox News that the Big Tech corporations have “more power than nations.” Others are speaking out. Schiller Institute President Helga Zepp-LaRouche addressed the whole picture today, in a webcast, “We Are Sitting on a Powder Keg—It’s Not Just Vote Fraud.” Among her points, she stressed that the operations against Trump, the suppression of any proper judicial or Congressional hearings on election irregularities and fraud, and all the rest, are a pretext to crush anyone who would oppose the agenda of the trans-Atlantic establishment, in imposing its green dictatorship Great Reset Initiative. The Wall Street/London half-century of casino economics is over, and their chosen recourse is the Great Reset, which are policies publicly promoted by the World Economic Forum, that will result in mass depopulation. Zepp-LaRouche said, “I think that the same banks and same big corporations—especially including Silicon Valley, Wall Street, but also the City of London—what these people are aware of, is that their system is completely bankrupt, and they’re now preparing for what they call the Great Reset. This is supposed to be featured big time, with a virtual seminar, starting on the 25th of January. This is supposed to be announced big time from the 25th of January until the 29th. And supposed to reorganize the entire financing system so that only Green finance is allowed. And that’s already started to happen with the major banks.” It has nothing to do with the environment, which is just an excuse, but is a drastic downgrade of technology and the means to support life. One of the most outspoken advocates of depopulation, Paul Ehrlich, author of The Population Bomb in 1968, just co-authored an article out today calling for lowering “fertility and consumption” by humans, in order to protect the “biocapacity” of the Earth, and saying that one agency which understands that radical action must be taken, is the World Economic Forum. What is required is a complete shift in policies. The added impetus is the present danger of conflicts flaring up into all-out war. Mike Pompeo, true to form ’til the last of his tenure at the State Department, is doing everything possible to ignite trouble. Yesterday, he gave a National Press Club briefing on how Iran is the home base for al-Qaeda, and must be penalized. Helga Zepp-LaRouche addressed how to think about what must be done, speaking of the necessity of “working together in solving problems to rebuild the United States … and moving the relations among nations to a completely different paradigm. You have to make up your mind: Do you want to have war with Russia and China and blow up the whole world in a nuclear war, leading to the complete annihilation of the human species? Or do you want to have an approach of a new paradigm, solving problems together.”

Forget all the pious moaning about how the events of January 6 were an "insurrection against our democracy." It was in reality a pretext, to be used to bring about a phase change, just as 9/11 was used to put the U.S. into permanent wars and a surveillance state. Today, the impeachment against President Trump is intended to show his 74 million voters that no opposition will be tolerated to what the Trans-Atlantic establishment intends: more wars and censorship, as they move to impose the Great Reset, which is a global banker's dictatorship designed to dramatically reduce the world's population.

On Monday, the Democrats introduced articles of impeachment, declaring that it is an impeachable offense to have challenged the vote fraud in the Nov. 3 election.They intend to vote it up, essentially without debate, on Wednesday. They also introduced a bill to remove from Congress every Republican who challenged the vote fraud, based on the 14th Amendment, which was designed to prevent Confederate leaders who had fought in the insurrection against the Union from becoming Congressmen. Get it? Challenging vote fraud is the same as waging a four-year bloody war against the Union in support of slavery and free trade. Meanwhile, the Democrats, and many Republicans, and of course the media, cheer on the fact that all major social media have denied access to the President of the United States, essentially silencing the President from his 73 million supporters. The First Amendment’s guarantee of free speech in America, and the Constitution as a whole, are being shredded.The world is shocked. Mexican President Lopez Obrador told the world that America is losing its freedom, that a new “Holy Inquisition” is coming into being which is a danger to the entire world. Similar sentiments are coming from every part of the world. At the same time, the bankers in the City of London and Wall Street are implementing the Great Reset, the “regime change” of the world financial system (as former Bank of England chief Mark Carney called it) into a post-industrial enforcement arm of the Green New Deal, denying credit to all fossil fuels, to most industry, and to modern high-tech agriculture. It is a system which can sustain at most 1-2 billion people. Do its sponsors know that? It is their intent. As Prince Philip famously said: “Human population growth is probably the single most serious long-term threat to survival. We’re in for a major disaster if it isn’t curbed—not just for the natural world, but for the human world. The more people there are, the more resources they’ll consume, the more pollution they’ll create, the more fighting they will do. We have no option. If it isn’t controlled voluntarily, it will be controlled involuntarily by an increase in disease, starvation and war.” Trump’s unacceptable dedication to progress, the oligarchy would like to think, has been crushed, as the Green New Deal is about to take over the United States under the senile Joe Biden. They are taking no chances, however, and have thus ripped up the Constitution in order to silence the President and all who support him. There is another danger facing these genocidalists, perhaps an even greater threat: China. Not only has China become the first nation in history to eliminate abject poverty, through mass infrastructure development and universal scientific and cultural education, but they are taking that method—once known as the “American System”—to the rest of the world, through the New Silk Road, the Belt and Road Initiative. Nations across the developing sector, and even in Europe, have ridiculed madman Mike Pompeo’s effort to unite the world against China as a threat to “our way of life” and the “rule of law.” The Asian nations united with China last November to create a fair trade system called the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). The EU in December signed a “Comprehensive Agreement on Investment,” to expand mutual trade and investment with China. African and South American nations look to China for the real development aid they have been denied under IMF-World Bank austerity dictates. The Anglo-American oligarchy is not pleased. With Pompeo as their leading hitman, they are willing to risk war with China, even nuclear war, to crush the Belt and Road. Not only has Pompeo directed the imposition of expansive sanctions on Chinese companies and individuals—sanctions which are doing more damage to American firms than to those in China—but he has now declared war on the “One China” policy, which has been the basis for peace and collaboration over these past fifty years. By lifting all special conditions for US relations with Taiwan, essentially treating Taiwan as an independent nation, rather than honoring the “One Country, Two Systems” policy which has maintained peace and prosperity in the region, Pompeo is threatening one of China’s core interests, its sovereignty. As you will see below, the Chinese will not shy away from the danger of war if their sovereignty is challenged. One must keep in mind what Bertrand Russell said, which stands, still today, as the ideological foundation of the Empire. To deal with the overpopulation problem, the good Lord said: “War has hitherto been disappointing in this respect, but perhaps bacteriological war may prove more effective. If a Black Death could be spread throughout the world once in every generation survivors could procreate freely without making the world too full.” Of course, with the advent of nuclear weapons, Lord Russell became more confident that war could kill enough people to solve the problem, advocating that the US launch a nuclear war on Russia before they could build their own bomb. The resolution to this existential crisis exists. The pandemic has threatened the lives of millions, not only death by the virus, but death by starvation. Never has the world been more in need of international cooperation to meet a crisis facing the entire world. Helga Zepp-LaRouch has initiated such cooperation, based on addressing the desperate health crisis facing all nations, rich and poor, due to the breakdown of public health in the advanced sector over the past decades through “privatization,” and the denial of public health facilities to large parts of Africa and Asia through IMF “conditionalities.” No nation alone can solve this crisis. Rather than war and the new fascism now threatening the United States, we call on President Trump to use his last days in the White House to call Presidents Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin, and other nations of good will, to join forces with the US in a global campaign to build modern health facilities in every nation on Earth. In her weekly dialogue, Helga Zepp LaRouche looked at the events of January 6 from the top down, providing the viewers with a strategic overview which will never appear in the mainstream media, or from the so-called experts. She excoriated the line that the events of that day were the result of the unleashing of a "fascist mob" by Trump, saying instead it was a "Reichstag Fire", a pretext for a fascist coup to impose the "Great Reset."

With an effort underway in the U.S. House to vote to impeach President Trump for the second time -- an impeachment with virtually no chance to pass the Senate — the imperial oligarchy represented by Pelosi and Schumer is moving to expand the powers of both private companies and government to suppress freedom of speech and assembly.

"One of the first things I learned from Lyndon LaRouche was a concept that he called the conjunctural perspective, as the basis for his forecasting. That is, how to evaluate a crisis, to act effectively to solve it, but incorporating history, science, economics, politics, social policy. And especially in a period of breakdown, you have to take into consideration all of these facets."

Immediately led on Jan. 7-8 by Edward Snowden, Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and Michael Gorbachev, more leading figures in political life and journalism have attacked the attempt at total censorship of President Donald Trump by the IT billionaires of Silicon Valley, who are trying to impose total control over political speech in the United States—to start.Today German Chancellor Angela Merkel “blasted” (in Reuters description) Facebook and Twitter censorship of Trump. “The right to freedom of opinion is of fundamental importance,” Steffen Seibert, Merkel’s chief spokesman, told reporters in Berlin on Monday, according to Reuters. “Given that, the Chancellor considers it problematic that the President’s accounts have been permanently suspended.” The First Amendment “can be interfered with,” Merkel’s spokesman said, “but by law and within the framework defined by the legislature—not according to a corporate decision.” Bruno Le Maire, the French Economy Minister, called “the digital oligarchy” the threat to democracy; French Secretary of State for European Affairs Clément Beaune expressed “shock” at the Facebook and Twitter power grab and said, “This should be decided by citizens, not by a CEO,” The British liberal Guardian showed considerable disdain in reporting Australian Acting Prime Minister Michael McCormack’s statement denouncing the censorship of Trump—but that was Snowden’s warning: Those who think they like to see Trump silenced, will learn that this is a “turning point” and that if the IT giants can silence a U.S. President, they will try to use that power to silence anyone. Billionaire Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook pointed in that direction today in a statement implying no further discussion of the Nov. 3 election allowed by anyone—not just by Donald Trump. “We are now removing content containing the phrase ‘stop the steal’ under our Coordinating Harm policy from Facebook and Instagram. We removed the original Stop the Steal group in November and have continued to remove Pages, groups and events that violate any of our policies.” Investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald, who helped Snowden blow the whistle on the surveillance state, made the same point in a series of tweets today: “Tech monopolies—FB, Google, Apple, Amazon—have more concentrated wealth & power than any in history. They have used brute force 3 times in 3 months to manipulate US politics: censoring NY Post, banning Trump, destroying Parler. And liberals are overwhelmingly supportive.” Most recently, he declared: “these Silicon Valley monopolies are grave menaces to political freedom & economic well-being.” And prefaced the series: “Authoritarians never believe they’re authoritarians, no matter how much censorship, surveillance, jingoism, & imprisonment they demand. They tell themselves their enemies are so uniquely evil and dangerous—terrorists—that anything done in the name of fighting them is noble.” This stripping of free speech is now targeting Trump and his most vocal and active supporters. As Ed Snowden observed—echoing Martin Niemöller about the Nazis—you may say, “I’m no active Trump supporter, this is OK with me.” Is this for Biden? It was Joe Biden who, by his own boasting, wrote the Patriot Act in 1994—the Omnibus Counterterrorism Act of 1995. It wasn’t passed, but in 2002 when Attorney General John Ashcroft wrote the Patriot Act itself, he called Biden, recounts Caitlin Johnstone, and said “I’m introducing your bill from 1994.” Thus if the surveillance state has become the unconstitutional reality of life since 9/11—including making an unholy partnership between the military-intelligence complex and the IT billionaires of Silicon Valley—Joe Biden had already planned that future for America after the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. And Biden opposes any tampering now with Section 230 of the Federal Communications Act which allows these tech giants to masquerade as “neutral platforms” while giving them unprecedented censorship power. Experts are suddenly seeing what Trump meant about Section 230. The dean of Tufts University’s Fletcher School, for example, Bhaskar Chakravorti, on Jan. 10: “Jan. 6 ought to shape the future of tech as we know it. The only way in which social media doesn’t continue to be weaponized to undermine democracy, is by rethinking this critical piece [Section 230] that gave rise to the web as it is today and is the root of many of its evils.” Sen. Elizabeth Warren has appeared to forget that during the Presidential campaign she promised an anti-trust law to break the digital oligarchs’ companies up—“Glass-Steagall for tech.” They must be broken up. The President must not be silenced. At stake is American constitutional self-government.

The media narrative on January 6 is a classic example of a "fallacy of composition." The truth is that the events of that day provided the latest pretext for the Russiagate coup plotters to remove the President of the U.S., while continuing their post-9/11 attack on the U.S. Constitution.

Stop watching YouTube videos about what supposedly really happened at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6! To understand and successfully respond to the events of the last week, start with the big picture. The entire trans-Atlantic financial system is in a breakdown crisis, and the only way that London-led empire can survive is by pulling off what they euphemistically refer to as their “Great Reset,” which really means a fascist reorganization of their utterly bankrupt financial system into a supranational “digital currency” scam, and drastic deindustrialization and depopulation of the nations of the planet. The storming of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 was designed to usher in such a coup in the United States, and to lock it in place with Jacobin-style censorship of any and all opposition voices. This is not the first time that something like this has happened. In 1933, there was the Reichstag Fire: agents provocateurs created the incident; security-stripping facilitated it; and the intended effect occurred: Hitler’s putsch was consolidated. Similarly on September 11, 2001: London-run Saudi terrorists were deployed; security was strangely lacking; and the intended effect was put in place: the Patriot Act with two-decades of foreign wars and an implacable “surveillance state.” And now the Capitol, on Jan. 6, 2021: provocateurs led the charge; no security of any significance was on hand; and the intended effect has been set in motion: the Great Reset, with a pliable Joe Biden in the White House and all opposition in the process of being muzzled by the social media. With that in mind, there are three broad points to be emphasized to properly measure the current strategic battlefield and correlation of forces, and the needed course of action: What transpired on Jan. 6 was a classic “gang-countergang” operation, straight out of the handbook of Britain’s Tavistock Institute and Brig. Gen. Frank Kitson’s counter-insurgency manual. The debate over whether the professional provocateurs who led the assault on the Capitol were “Proud Boys,” “Antifa,” or one or both dressed up as the other, entirely misses the point. This was a classic “third force” operation, as Helga Zepp-LaRouche emphasized in her Jan. 9 Manhattan Project webcast, where the intelligence services deploy to deliberately trigger violence to achieve their intended shock effect. The rest are dupes, well-meaning or otherwise. Sane forces in the U.S. have powerful potential allies internationally to defeat this operation. China’s Belt and Road Initiative is a strong and growing alternative to the Great Reset, and its dynamic has already swept up the majority of the world’s population. Mark Zuckerberg may control Facebook. But China is building railroads and dams in Africa. Peru, which has one of the highest per-capita death rates from COVID-19 on the planet, had been told that it would only get a few vaccines from the WHO at the end of 2021, and not be able to purchase significant numbers of vaccines on the world market until 2022 or 2023. But last week China informed Peru that they would provide the country with 38 million vaccines, with the first million arriving this month. That will cover nearly 20 million of Peru’s 33 million people. Do you really think the nation of Peru is going to care more about Zuckerberg’s Facebook rules and Pompeo’s anti-Chinese rants, than vaccinating its population? There is a reality principle at work here, of the physical economy and the laws of the physical universe, that the British cannot evade. Furthermore, significant forces in other countries are aware of how the Capitol assault “narrative” is working, and the meaning of the brazen censorship being imposed by the Wall Street-run social media against all opposition. Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador described what Facebook is doing to President Donald Trump and others as “a new Holy Inquisition” designed “to create a world government.” Russian senior analyst Fyodor Lukyanov, the chairman of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, wrote that “Target number one is Trump himself. They want to make an example out of him, so that others wouldn’t dare challenge the sanctity of the political establishment…. And the Capitol building debacle during the last days of his Presidency has created a perfect pretext for cleaning house.” 3. The British gameplan has an even more fundamental weakness and vulnerability. Their plan is that you will not say, nor be allowed to hear, anything other than the vetted material available on social media. You will receive no information, no entertainment, that is not of that approved character. You will be told, as Bertrand Russell famously put it, that snow is black. But there’s one thing that Russell and the British have overlooked. The effectiveness of this strategy depends on the nature of man being what they claim it is. Their informational dictatorship only works if knowledge is indeed premised on sense perception, if identity is defined by Bentham’s felicific calculus, by hedonism. But ask yourself: How would Helen Keller have responded to control of the social media? Would that have affected her conceptual powers, or her ability to understand how the world works? Would it have interfered with her capacity to “hear” and understand a performance of Beethoven’s Ninth? In the final analysis, it is this nature of man, and the implicit powers of man’s mind to discover universal physical principles and shape the world in his image, as the Creator shapes us in His—a power for the Good which Lyndon LaRouche spent a lifetime discovering, conveying and augmenting—that is our greatest weapon in times such as these. Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador used his daily morning press briefing on Jan. 8 to warn the world that the censorship taking place in the U.S. is a danger for the world, a new “Holy Inquisition” designed to “create a world government with the power to control social networks, a world media power.” The exchange occurred in response to a question from respected journalist Daniel Marmolejo. This morning President Donald Trump made two announcements on his briefly restored Twitter service. He will not attend the Jan. 20 Biden inauguration. And he will serve as the “GIANT VOICE” for the interests of the American people “long into the future.” This is exactly the prospect that, even before 2016, made Trump a target for side-lining by the London/Wall Street networks, whose political wing perpetrated one dirty operation after another against the U.S. to get Trump out—Russiagate, impeachment, racism, then election subversion. Now, they are saying he is nuts. The Economist, the voice of the City of London, is chewing its nails over how to get him out fast. They have sent multiple e-mails on this since Jan. 6, and their Jan. 9 feature article has a fretful headline, “After the Insurrection: The Terrible Scenes on Capitol Hill Illustrate How Donald Trump Has Changed His Party. And How Hard It Will Be To Rid It of Him.”Trump stood firmly against the Paris Accord green dictates, and initially and strongly, for friendship diplomacy with Russia, China, and India (although he capitulated to Pompeo’s McCarthyite madness over the past year). Trump also backed agro-industrial and space activity, crash biomedical work, and pulling back U.S. troops from the “endless wars.” These are anathema to the monetarists and their system, whose leading mega-financial entities are now in a zombie state of being dead-but-not-buried, propped up by trillions of dollars of bail-outs and chicanery. To these interests, the Great Reset is their solution, since it involves dictatorial “governance” and banking practices of any kind, including causing sickness, famine and death—because they say, it will save the planet from CO₂. From Jan. 25-29, a five-day, 25 million-viewership media jamboree is in the works by the World Economic Forum, called “The Davos Agenda,” at which the Great Reset will be officially rolled out. This is the context in which to understand the meaning of the events of the hour. The Jan. 6 mob attack on the Capitol involved a glaring lack of routine safety preparedness, for a known possible threat element to be deployed, or take shape. Now the event is being used as the excuse for demanding Trump leave office in the next 13 days, and as an excuse for Big Tech to exert total rights of surveillance and censorship. This is the same way that after the Sept. 11, 2011 attack, similar “governance” measures were enforced, in the false name of public defense. There are three lines of action demanded against Trump as of now—activation of the 25th Amendment to put him out, impeachment, or his “voluntary” resignation. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has written to Vice President Pence demanding he activate the 25th Amendment protocol to remove Trump because he is “unhinged.” Today Pelosi talked with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley to take measures to isolate Trump from the nuclear weapons codes. She wrote today to Democrats to line them up in readiness for an impeachment vote. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) has entered a bill of articles of impeachment, the first three of which charge Trump with not “acknowledging” how Russia has been subverting the U.S. in different ways. The impeachment includes a clause barring Trump from any future public office of any kind, anywhere. Two other impeachment bills are being prepared. Meantime, former Secretary of State Colin Powell is saying, Trump should just “walk away” from office right now, like President Nixon did. Last night, Mark Zuckerberg, now infamous for pouring over $300 million to local election precincts—private money for public elections—informed President Trump that he can no longer use Facebook “indefinitely.” Why? Because, “We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great.” Of course, those political leaders who cheered on the mass riots, looting, arson and attacks on police all summer were never removed from social media—quite the opposite. This frenzied over-kill, however, by no means signifies strength. It is hysteria, and can be defeated. Multi-millions of people are not prepared to accept the new Great Reset, any more than in 2016 they would vote for London’s Hillary Clinton. It is self-evident to anyone thinking about it, that we have a big job today to roll back the pandemic, famine and economic decay caused by decades of neo-liberal, neo-conservative economics, which must be stopped. President Trump, with a phone call, can initiate the collaboration process with Russia, China and others at any time. To hell with the unhinged Schumer, Pelosi/London crowd. Lyndon LaRouche has shown the way for both policies and courage. A Trump exoneration of LaRouche, and pardon for Julian Assange and Edward Snowden is the best weapon right now. What really happened on January 6-7? What should be done now? How can we rebuild optimism for those who have succumbed to the belief that the U.S. is broken beyond repair?

President Donald Trump won the presidency as the Republican candidate in 2016, not because he represented that party, but because he broke with many of its precepts. He vowed to drain the swamp, to take on the intelligence agencies, to foster good relations with Russia and China, to rebuild industry, and to uncompromisingly oppose Green policies. The movement that he built reached something special in the American psyche, and addressed itself to questions that the establishment Beltway politicians ignored: the well-being of the forgotten men and women, people derided as “deplorables” by Hillary Clinton. He mobilized enormous numbers of voters in 2020, and stood to be a significant force in reshaping the Republican Party. How do the events of Wednesday fit in? Just as the House and Senate were debating the objections raised to the Arizona electoral votes, a violent mob—small compared to the hundreds of thousands of people who turned out to support Trump that day—that broke through the security perimeter at the U.S. Capitol.Photos of a shirtless barbarian occupying the presiding officer’s chair in the Senate, of a man with a Trump hat walking off with the Speaker’s lectern, and of crowds of people smashing windows and breaking through doors to the Capitol have been used as ammunition to denounce Trump as a thug. He has been blamed as the instigator of the mob, as an inciter to violence. He has been accused of running a coup, and judged guilty of committing an “unprecedented assault” against democracy. Impeachment is proposed, and there is talk of using the provisions of the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office. Meanwhile, he has been locked out of both Twitter and Facebook, in part because he posted a one-minute video urging people to peacefully leave the Capitol! Cui bono? Who benefits from this situation? Who deployed the provocateurs? Who is responsible for the totally inadequate security on hand? These are all questions to be investigated and exposed. What is already clear is that the breaching of the Capitol derailed much of the force of the debate about the 2020 election, by shutting down the congressional session and making the mob itself the subject of discussion. Today’s events are already being used to kick off a new round of attacks against Trump between now and Jan. 20, and to criminalize protest and limit free speech rights. Already Wednesday afternoon, the New York Times ran an article entitled, “The Storming of Capitol Hill Was Organized on Social Media,” which is only a small taste of the torrent of calls for censorship to come. Where will this leave the Republican Party? Will it become again the party of the Bushes? Trump will not be America’s next President, but he is America’s current President. What will he do in his remaining two weeks in office to overthrow the chessboard and deal a strategic blow to the British Empire and their American allies? Will he break from the anti-China lies being peddled by those posing as his friends? Will he take on the British Empire’s efforts to prevent cooperation among the world’s major powers to replace geopolitics with a new paradigm of international relations? Will he use his power to exonerate Lyndon LaRouche and pardon Snowden and Assange? This would dramatically improve the strategic situation, and be a profound blow to his enemies. The LaRouche Organization was providing the needed leadership in this crisis even as today’s events unfolded in Washington.
