President Joe Biden reflected the British Empire’s frustration and disappointment at the direction things have taken at the COP26 summit in Glasgow, in remarks to the press yesterday: “I indicated that China and Russia not showing up — and Saudi Arabia — is a problem,” Biden said. “We showed up, and by showing up, we’ve had a profound impact on the way I think the rest of the world is looking at the United States and its leadership role,” Biden said.Biden then wagged his finger sternly at China in particular: “I think it’s been a big mistake, quite frankly, for China, with respect to China, not showing up. The rest of the world will look to China and say, ‘What value-added are they providing?’ And they’ve lost an ability to influence people around the world and all the people here at COP. The same way, I would argue, with regard to Russia.” The irony was not lost on Steve Milloy, a Heartland Institute leader and founder of JunkScience.com, who told Fox News: “Biden’s slam of Chinese President Xi and Russian President Putin for not showing up at COP26 is a sad indication of Biden’s failure to grasp or accept real-world realities…. Neither country has any interest in hamstringing its own economy with destructive climate regulations.” He continued: “Rather, Xi and Putin seem to have taken to heart the Napoleonic principle of never interfering with your opponent while he is in the process of destroying himself, which is exactly what the U.S. and Europe are doing with their suicidal embrace of climate idiocy.” COP26 has indeed not gone the way the British Royals had envisioned and demanded. Prince Charles had announced 18 months ago that the world had precisely 18 months left to fully implement the Malthusian Green Reset, and that goal has for sure not been met. Putin is making fun of the entire COP26 endeavor; China has praised the green intention but stubbornly insisted that its own priorities are different and come first; India has agreed to promise anything and everything under the Sun—for 2070, a half century from today. And even significant layers of an American population benumbed by media barrages and other drugs, have at least remembered how to say “no,” as the Nov. 2 elections made clear. But “no” alone won’t work—not internationally, and not in the U.S. The “yes” part—the elaboration and implementation of the viable economic, scientific and cultural policies to forge a new Renaissance, as uniquely provided by Lyndon LaRouche over the past half-century, will be addressed in depth at the upcoming Schiller Institute conference on Nov. 13-14.
For once, Greta Thunberg got it right -- there is a lot of "blah, blah, blah" coming from the COP26 summit. She's wrong, however, when she says there is no action being taken. Yesterday's announcement of a new financial alliance under the direction of former Bank of England Director Carney and former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg is a big step toward consolidating the "Great Reset", designed to establish a global central banker's dictatorship. Their intent is to inflate a new, Green financial bubble -- to benefit the 450 financial firms which have signed up -- while ensuring there will be no credit for the physical, productive sectors of the economy. Their big problem is in getting developing countries to give up their sovereignty and sacrifice their people in return for the crumbs being offered to them to do so.
Nov. 1 -- At a CNN town meeting on October 21, President Joe Biden was asked if the U.S. would come to the aid of Taiwan, if it were attacked by China. His response -- "Yes, we have a commitment to do that" -- set off alarm bells, not only in Beijing, but within his administration, as a spokesman was quickly dispatched to walk back from that answer. But a week later, more bombshells went off, again on CNN, in an interview with Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen. She said she believes that the U.S. and other regional allies would come to the aid of Taiwan if it were attacked. Further, she confirmed the report that a "small unit" of U.S. Army special forces have been deployed on the island to train members of Taiwan's military. She added that while she thinks there can be peaceful relations with China, the threat from the mainland "is increasing every day", as it is becoming more aggressive.
It is dangerous to cling to old beliefs at a moment of global systemic collapse. The belief in "limits to growth" is behind the "climate change" scenarios driving the push to reduce human population, which is the goal of those running the COP26 summit in Glasgow. The ghouls can be outflanked and defeated, provided the opposition to the Green New Deal and Great Reset adopts the strategy developed over fifty years by Lyndon LaRouche. Clinging to old beliefs is what led to the smashing defeat of Democratic Party candidates in Virginia, and possibly in New Jersey as well. The reality of hyperinflation of food and energy prices, supply chain shortages, etc., was of greater concern to the voters, than the spectre of the return of Donald Trump, which Dem "strategists" foolishly believed would lead voters to cast ballots for their candidates!
Now is the time for the movement founded by Lyndon LaRouche and headed by Helga Zepp-LaRouche to assemble a worldwide anti-Malthusian resistance. The indispensable concept to be supplied, that the LaRouche movement brings to this discussion, and without the which there is no hope for defeating the oligarchical enemy, is the increase of available energy, per capita and square kilometer, for the whole human race, with a particular emphasis on those areas where population growth is most clearly expected in the next fifty years—the continents of Asia and Africa. Though some world leaders are now seeking to stand up to the “carbon colonialism” of the Great Reset, and the “Ghouls Gone Wild” blood-feast at Glasgow, they lack any clear sense of an alternative, and often entertain, if only to be overheard doing so, the pagan “Mother Earth” mantra, or the “carbon dioxide is a real threat” mantra. We cannot allow the degradation of the terms of the discussion into merely seeming to discuss the truth, as LaRouche discusses in his “Riemann Refutes Euler” article.For example, Bolivian President Luis Arce said in his COP 26 speech that “developed countries are promoting a new world recolonization process that we can call the ‘new carbon colonialism,’ because they are trying to impose their own rules of the game in the climate negotiations to continue feeding the new green capitalist system, while pushing developing nations to accept these rules of the game without any other options.” True, but then what? Clearly Bolivia has defended nuclear power as a right of all people, but then, when Arce, an economist, says, in the same speech, that “The solution is to change the model of civilization and move towards an alternative model to capitalism, the concept of living well together in harmony with Mother Earth,” the flaw, and the trap, become clear. Unless the LaRouche notion of energy flux-density, and “the increase of the rate of increase” of energy flux-density, through advanced technologies such as nuclear and thermonuclear power, is understood, mastered, and defended in its own right, no matter how militant the message of opposition to the Great Reset may sound, it will signify nothing; the same tragedy will play out. No “redistributionist” approach will outwit, for example, Lynn Rothschid’s Council for Inclusive Capitalism, which, like Bolivia’s President, calls for “an alternative view of capitalism,”—though they mean something very “indifferent” than he. We need to instantly change the terms of discourse, everywhere in the world, in unexpected ways. Consider how an alert organizer intersected Pope Francis’s call for prayers for Haiti, now undergoing the dissolution of the nation, and threatening the same for the Dominican Republic. Simply by placing a link to our program for Haiti, as itself a physical-economic template for how to approach solving, not only the problem of Haiti, but the problem of many other nations in the Caribbean sector, a liberated discussion of the higher resolution became possible. The function of collaboration with nations, including China, was defined. In that sense, the Pope’s call for prayer was answered: “God, help us—with our right arm.” In the Schiller Institute’s Committee for the Coincidence of Opposites approach, for example, the Afghanistan situation can be seen, and organized, as a workshop for a collaboration of Russia, China, the United States, and India, lessening the danger of war which is otherwise worsening virtually by the hour. If one bothers to think about Arnold Toynbee’s and Bernard Lewis’s gnostic emphasis and predatory approach to both Islam and Christianity, and their virulent opposition to both when it comes to the question of their shared theological mandate to “increase and multiply” the human population, then the “clash of civilizations” strategy of British intelligence, including its pagan-religious side, can more easily be seen, including in their RIIA and Prince Charles “ecocide” and “eco-army” manifestations. “They are neither man nor woman, they are neither brute nor human—they are pestilential carcasses disparted from their souls, called ghouls.” Prince Charles at COP 26 proposed (or, more clearly, disclosed) a war on the human race that was the “fever dream” of not only his father Phillip, and Phillip’s World Wildlife Fund co-founder Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, but of the European synarchist political movements of the 1930s that had shaped both, and even the Queen, as a young child, herself. “Climate change and biodiversity loss … pose an even greater existential threat than the COVID-19 pandemic, to the extent that we have to put ourselves on a war-like footing. We know what we must do. With a growing global population creating ever increasing demand on the planet’s finite resources, we have to reduce emissions urgently, and take action to tackle the carbon already in the atmosphere, including from coal-powered power systems….” “Our efforts cannot be a series of independent initiatives running in parallel; the scale and scope of the threat we face, call for a global systems-level solution…” Sir David Attenborough, the close collaborator of Prince Phillip and a central promoter of the “pre-Gaia” “natural religion” outlook more familiar to people through the work of Joseph Campbell and Carl Jung, was applauded, but not for his undiscussed views of population. They include the idea that 75% of the present British population is superfluous. (What’s he thinking about Africa?) Attenborough says, on the website of his organization, Population Matters: “All our environmental problems become easier to solve with fewer people, and harder—and ultimately impossible—to solve with ever more people.” Hannibal Lecter commenting on the speeches of Attenborough and of the three Windsors (the Queen, Charles, and Phillip, whose speech was in the form of the virus that people will shortly recognize they contracted during the other two speeches), said, “I may be a cannibal, but I have standards.” The world deserves better than the inedible Windsors. POSTSCRIPT: A TREE GROWS IN RUSSIA? (Note in this briefing Vladimir Putin’s surgical-ironical intervention into COP 26, concerning Russia’s coming contribution to reforestation. In that context, consider the following.) In his essay, “The Question of Global warming,” scientist Freeman Dyson writes: “It is likely that biotechnology will dominate our lives in our economic activities during the second half of the 21st-century, just as computer technology dominated our lives in our economy during the second half of the 20th. Biotechnology could be a great equalizer, spreading wealth over the world wherever there is land and air and water and sunlight. This has nothing to do with the misguided efforts that are now being made to reduce carbon emissions by growing corn and converting it into ethanol fuel. The ethanol program fails to reduce emissions and incidentally hurts poor people all over the world by raising the price of food. After we have mastered biotechnology the rules of the climate game will be radically changed. In the world economy based on biotechnology, some low-cost and environmentally benign backstop to carbon emissions is likely to become a reality….. “…every carbon dioxide molecule in the atmosphere is incorporated in a plant within a time of the order of 12 years. Therefore, if we can control what the plants do with the carbon, the fate of the carbon in the atmosphere is in our hands…. The science and technology of genetic engineering are not yet right for large scale use. We do not understand the language of the genome well enough to read and write it fluently. But the science is advancing rapidly, and the technology of reading and writing genomes is advancing ever more rapidly. I consider it likely that we shall have ‘genetically engineered carbon eating trees’ within 20 years, and almost certainly within 50 years. “Carbon-eating trees could convert most of the carbon that they absorb from the atmosphere into some chemically stable form and bury underground. Or they could convert the carbon into liquid fuels and other useful chemicals. Biotechnology is enormously powerful, capable of burying or transforming any molecule of carbon dioxide that comes into its grasp…. If 1/4 of the world’s forests were replanted with carbon eating varieties of the same species, the forests would be preserved as ecological resources and as habitats for wildlife, and the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere would be reduced by half in about 50 years.”
The FLOP26 opened with the expected hyperbole, with BoJo saying "It's one minute to midnight", i.e. we are running out of time to stop what Joe Biden called "an existential threat to human existence...." But the "debate" over whether there has been warming and what is causing it has not been settled, despite what the COP26 "influencers" so loudly assert. Resistance is building to the devastation which will be unleashed if the "net zero carbon" demand is successfully imposed. Given the rhetoric from leaders about their "profound concern for future generations", why are they not calling for lifting the sanctions imposed by the U.S. and its NATO allies on nations such as Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and Zimbabwe, sanctions which are killing people now, and threatening millions more lives, especially of children, in the future?
Despite the constant media hype and pressure to conform, the world will little note the arguments among all the power brokers and “influencers” at the ongoing G20 and climate summits, about whether they’re succeeding or failing in their evil and incomprehensible objective of sacrificing the human species to “the planet.”We will rather be stirred by the real and urgent need to save human lives, and to better lives, in the crises those summiteers create, but refuse to discuss! The city in Romania, Timosoara, which has had all electric power cut off because it could not pay carbon taxes to the EU, must get it back. Most people facing this Winter amid a hyperinflation of costs of energy and shelter will not be moved by what the global temperature will be in 80 years, but by whether we can save and improve the lives of the least of us, now. The G20 summit, fixated on “climate change” and lacking the critical input of the Chinese and Russian presidents, undertook no action to change the desperately urgent situation of the people of Afghanistan—punished because the war there did not end satisfactorily to NATO. The huge but failing two-week Glasgow Climate Summit will not even discuss Afghanistan, or Haiti, though their collapses are dangers to the world as well as threatening the loss of human lives in the millions. What will move people most are powerful ideas about what can be done to redeem our immortal species, what forceful and creative actions can be taken “not because they are easy, but because they are hard.” Such is Schiller Institute president Helga Zepp-LaRouche’s “Operation Ibn Sina,” to catalyze the action to rebuild Afghanistan, by identifying it with its native son who was the world’s leading medical authority for centuries—when today, nearly all its hospitals have closed in destitution. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres accused countries of “treating nature like a toilet” as he warned of a looming “climate catastrophe.”The Führer for the witches and goblins gathered in Glasgow—the guiding light to these would-be Gods of Olympus—is none other than the Heir to the Throne of the British Empire, Charles, Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay. “Our efforts cannot be a series of independent initiatives running on parallel,” proclaimed the Malthusian Prince in his speech today. “The scale and scope of the threat we face call for a global systems-level solution based on radically transforming our current fossil fuel-based economy to one that is genuinely renewable and sustainable.” But who is listening? COP26, now known as FLOP26, was to be the final nail in the coffin of industrial society, the end of human progress, the return to a primitive existence where the wind and the sun would provide enough energy for the fewer than one billion people who survived. Domestic oil and gas exploration will be intensified.” • Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, essentially speaking for Africa in a Wall Street Journal op-ed on Oct. 24 titled “Solar and Wind Force Poverty on Africa,” wrote: “Africa can’t sacrifice its future prosperity for Western climate goals. The continent should balance its energy mix, not rush straight toward renewables — even though that will likely frustrate some of those gathering at next week’s global climate conference in Glasgow.” With the exception of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India, none of the leaders of the BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) are attending the Glasgow Gala, which Prince Charles described as the “last chance saloon.” (Ironically, the Collins Dictionary, published in Glasgow and used in most U.K. schools, defines “last chance saloon” as “a place frequented by unsavory or contemptible people.”) But Prime Minister Modi’s presence is not bringing any relief to the failing Olympians in Glasgow. He, like virtually every developing sector leader, is insisting that the developed countries live up to their pledge (thus far ignored) to provide $100 billion annually to pay for the “transitioning” away from fossil fuels. However, Modi insisted that that money must not be used for “mitigation,” to reduce carbon emissions, but for “adaptation” to counter the harm supposedly caused by global warming. Calling the emphasis on mitigation an “injustice towards the developing countries that are heavily affected,” he proposed instead that the money be used for providing “Clean Tap Water for All” and “Clean Cooking Fuel for All,” and invited all countries to join the “Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure.” But the danger is still great. The bankers who run the Green New Deal have simply asserted their power over governments to set economic policies worldwide, by cutting off credit to fossil fuels and those industries and agricultural sectors they deem to have too large a “carbon footprint.” Mark Carney, the former Governor of the Bank of England and UN Special Envoy on Climate Action and Finance, will be speaking at FLOP26 on Wednesday, Nov. 3, on how the global banking empire can dictate de-industrialization and de-population to the world. As Lyndon LaRouche often said (and as Vladimir Putin repeated last week in a speech in Sochi), the would-be gods on Mount Olympus may be screaming their demands to mankind below them, but they fail to recognize that the mountain is crumbling beneath their feet. In a very long and extraordinarily well-developed article of indictment, written Oct. 17, independent journalist Glenn Greenwald exposed the operations of the so-called “House Committee on the Jan. 6 Insurrection” as illegal, unconstitutional, and a return to the practices of the House Un-American Activities Committee of the 1950s and ’60s and its ilk in the Senate. If the people of a nation are made sufficiently afraid, Greenwald points his theme, they may allow their most basic rights to be torn up and approve it, believing the only victims are “enemies.” What was once the Red Scare has been reincarnated as the extreme-right scare; 9/11 terrorism has been replaced by “Jan. 6 terrorism.”The article, is entitled, “Civil Liberties Are Being Trampled by Exploiting ‘Insurrection’ Fears. Congress’s 1/6 Committee May Be the Worst Abuse Yet.” The most egregious of those abuses is the Jan. 6 Committee’s issuance of “third-party subpoenas” for all the private communications, going back up to a year before Jan. 6, of many Members of Congress, all organizers of the Jan. 5 and 6 rallies even if they simply applied for permits, and an unknown number of others. “Third-party” means the Committee wants Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and various e-mail and wireless providers to give it the records, without notifying any of the targets. In fact, it instructs the third parties, if they feel compelled to notify a target, to call the Committee’s lawyers and say so—the Committee can then withdraw that particular subpoena so as not to force an illegal action by the third party provider, and so as not to be liable to be sued for violation of First and Fourth Amendment rights. As Greenwald reports, this twist shows they know that what they’re doing is illegal. For any body of Congress to “investigate crime” by private citizens is in violation of the Constitution, and Greenwald proves that extensively from Supreme Court jurisprudence through the 19th and 20th centuries. The only exceptions—in particular, doing so in order to help formulate new legislation—are ruled out by Reps. Adam Schiff and Bennie Thompson and other members, who state their purpose simply as “to find out what happened.” That has been expressly forbidden to Congress by Supreme Court precedents, as a violation of powers which exclusively belong to the Executive and the Judiciary. The 1950s McCarthyite committees did it, and were ruled to have acted unconstitutionally. At the extreme, this Congressional conduct becomes Bills of Attainder—orders to arrest issued by a legislature—prohibited by name in the Constitution. Another exposé by Greenwald in the past week is related. Mark Zuckerberg is the latest “authoritarian menace” indicted daily in huge features in the Washington Post and New York Times, and lashed by Members of Congress who are demanding that Facebook be a third-party surveillance agency for the government against dangerous non-conformists. This has been accomplished by a triumphal world media tour of “whistleblower” Frances Haugen and her “Facebook Papers.” And who is paying for this world tour, publicity, media appearances, etc.? That would be the billionaire Pierre Omidyar, who has funded The Intercept from its inception; whom Greenwald exposes as now a major funder of something called “Whistleblowers Aid,” whose darling “whistleblower” is none other than Frances Haugen, “bizarrely led by anti-Trump lawyer and social media #Resistance star Mark Zaid, who has been one of the most vocal critics of actual whistleblowers Edward Snowden and Julian Assange, both of whose imprisonment he has long demanded,” (emphasis in original).
The ghouls have begun arriving in Glasgow for the witches’ coven scheduled to be launched on Halloween, hoping to convince the world to ignore the collapsing economies and the hyperinflation in energy, food, housing and more, in order to “save the planet.” The streets of Glasgow are flooded from a rainstorm, with roads closed, cars abandoned, and the trains not running. A second “yellow weather warning” was released for a new storm to hit the area on Saturday, Nov. 30. As in New York, when residential areas were flooded (and people died) after Hurricane Ida roared through in September, the flooding is not due to nature, but to the lack of adequate infrastructure. Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni spoke for all of Africa when he wrote an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal on Oct. 24 titled “Solar and Wind Force Poverty on Africa”: “Africa can’t sacrifice its future prosperity for Western climate goals.” The Schiller Institute has issued a statement, which will be circulated internationally in several languages, titled “Do You Want to Avoid Freezing on Christmas and Starving in the Spring? Stop the Great Gas Shock Swindle.” It states that the hyperinflated gas prices have been artificially created by the same City of London and Wall Street financial interests that orchestrated the “oil shock” in 1973. While trying to blame the inflation on the “recovery,” or on Russia, the truth is that “their policy of financial speculation, the Green climate swindle, and hyperinflationary money printing” have manufactured the crisis, the statement reports. It calls for an international mobilization with five demands: license Nord Stream 2; exclude financial traders from energy and food markets; restore Glass-Steagall; replace speculative “spot markets” with long-term contracts among nations; and bring together the major powers for a New Bretton Woods to replace the broken monetary system with a creditary system for global reconstruction.
Britain’s Daily Express tabloid reports that COP26’s President Alok Sharma is very anxious about getting all countries, especially developing countries belonging to the G20, to agree to the 1.5° Celsius target which is a goal of COP26, “We have to get that,” Sharma says. But the problem is that there are 24 developing nations, among them China, India, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the Philippines and Malaysia, grouped in the Like-Minded Developing Countries (LMDC), that aren’t playing ball and don’t intend to be squeezed into an anti-development trap in the way that the depopulation fanatics are demanding. These nations for the most part don’t have well thought-out programmatic alternatives, but they have made clear what they don’t want.In a meeting last week, the ministers of the LMDC issued a strong statement criticizing rich countries for insisting on the need for a universal goal of net-zero by 2050. “This new ‘goal’ which is being advanced runs counter to the Paris Agreement and is anti-equity and against climate justice,” the Oct. 18 statement read. The LMDC argument is that they shouldn’t be forced into the same timeline as industrialized nations for cutting emissions, since they weren’t the ones that contributed to historic emissions—and may want to use fossil fuels for their own economic development just as wealthier nations have done. The green, Seattle-based media organization Grist points out that developed countries have delayed taking action for more than a decade in cutting their own emissions but now are demanding that the whole world commit to net zero. Sharma’s call to the G20 countries, some of which belong to the LMDC, to take action now and set a net-zero target, didn’t get the response he wanted. Instead they proposed that the rich countries first get on a fast track, and fully decarbonize by the end of this decade, and then “leave the remaining atmospheric space” for carbon emissions to the developing world. This is where the money issue comes in. According to Eddy Perez, international diplomacy manager of Climate Action Network Canada, the LMDC are issuing a clear call for the U.K. to ensure that negotiations are fair. “It can’t just be about mitigation pledges,” Perez remarks. “Keeping 1.5° C within reach requires urgently scaling up adaptation support and mobilizing trillions of dollars.” There is much criticism of the U.S. for failing to bring to Glasgow the climate change package that Joe Biden had promised, and demands that these richer nations have to both cut emissions and fork over the trillions of dollars needed by developing nations. Who’s going to buy that? This follows statements in the recent weeks by Russia, China and India that they are expanding, not contracting, the use of coal and other fossil fuels, to provide the energy needed for the development and livelihood of their citizens. In the late 1990s Lyndon LaRouche drew a picture of the coming death of the American and European productive economies in the crash he saw coming. LaRouche called his instructive graphic “The Triple Curve—a typical collapse function.”The Triple Curve shows the case in which productive economic activity—industry, infrastructure building, agriculture, mining, construction—is declining at a worsening pace; the total volume of debt burdening the economy is growing at an increasing pace; and the money supply is also growing at an increasing pace to keep the debt liquid. That nation or region will go into physical-economic collapse unless financial reorganization policies are forcefully introduced and quickly backed by credit for economic development. And when the money supply is artificially increased more rapidly even than the debt itself—at that “crossover point” a financial crash is looming. In mid-2007 LaRouche publicly announced that that crash was unstoppable except by a complete reversal of financial and economic policy, and it came in late 2008. Observe the path of inflation in commodities since then. Take a representative sample of 20 major international commodities: oil, coal, natural gas in Europe, natural gas in the United States; soft red wheat, hard red wheat, rice, beef, chicken, shrimp; lumber, rock phosphate, rubber, aluminum, tin, lead, nickel, copper, zinc, iron ore. During the five-year period from July 2000 to July 2005, almost all these commodities rose in price by between 50% and 100% on the way into the 2007-08 crash. The crash itself deflated the great majority of them, along with the prices of financial assets (stocks, bonds, other securities, derivatives), which collapsed. For a decade, the major central banks intervened on a scale never seen before that time, with tens of trillions of dollars to “support” financial assets, vowing that by doing this, they would also restore inflation and economic growth. The value of financial assets of all kinds grew steadily, during some of that time explosively, and global billionaires sprouted like mushrooms after a storm. But from July 2010 to July 2019, the prices of all of the commodities above (with the sole exception of beef) declined, by anywhere from a few percent to 70%. But at the August 2019 central bankers conference in Wyoming, Mark Carney and a gang of central bankers and executives at BlackRock, Inc. determined to push “regime change” and take central bank control over government spending and private sector investment flows in order to launch a dramatic shift into “green finance,” sometimes called the Great Reset. QE5 started on Oct. 4, 2019. The COVID pandemic then cut off production across the world. The Federal Reserve and ECB in March 2020 launched a completely unprecedented pace of QE of more than $250 billion/month between them. The so-called “Green New Deal” was driven forward, which—it is now very clear—reduced productivity, cut production of all fossil fuels, and spread energy chaos. In a “Fed-Treasury partnership” brokered by BlackRock, Inc. the U.S. Treasury borrowed $5 trillion in “COVID relief” funds in a year through the CARES Act and the American Rescue Act, to drive private sector spending. “Trillions were shifted” toward the new green finance bubble. The worldwide collapse of production and productivity, since very early in 2020, continues: Look at the American productive economy: Since 2019 it has shrunk by 500,000 productive jobs, 5.5 million overall jobs, and lost 3% of industrial production. The American workforce itself has shrunk by 5 million since 2019. With that going on, the $14 trillion Fed-plus-Treasury-plus-European Central Bank money-printing policy meant that the Triple Curve collapse function would now end in a combination of an economic breakdown and an explosion of inflation. And in fact, in just the two years between July 2019 and July 2021, all 20 of the above commodities’ prices rapidly inflated: the agricultural commodities by 20-25%; the rest by far more, up to 250% in two years. Most of these inflated in the range of 20-50% in those two years. In the energy commodities, the inflation has accelerated further from July until this present end of October. This is the hyperinflationary process described by LaRouche’s ’Triple Curve" collapse function. During that earlier period LaRouche also named the actions which must be taken to stop such a spiral and start recovery. Long-term, state-to-state contracts for energy commodities, freezing out speculators in “paper gas,” “paper oil,” etc. What LaRouche insisted on in 2001, when oil first rose above $100/barrel, Russian President Putin demands now for natural gas supplies. To apply the lesson of Black Lives Matter to the climate movement is to seek modes of action that are equivalent to destroying the police station in Minneapolis or toppling statues. I’m not advocating violence against people, but I do think that property destruction has played a role in virtually every social movement that has achieved its goal.” This is a crude, less literate restatement of the argument in the opening chapter “Concerning Violence” of Fanon’s 1961 The Wretched of the Earth, itself an updated restatement of Georges Sorel’s 1908 Reflections On Violence. This is luddism in the cyber age, like “Unabomber,” but complete with the cyber-Dionysian world of addictive video-games and their participants. Russia, through slowly advancing talks with the United States on advanced strategic and tactical weapons systems; with Ukraine on natural gas and oil; and with a firm rebuke of the dangerously provocative statements of the outgoing German defense minister and others in NATO, keeps sanity “on the table.” The Indo-Pacific “Orcus” naval adventure, actually a pathetic revisioning of the British imperial “East of Suez” outlook abandoned in 1968, is already underwater, in a different way than it intended. Secretary of State Tony Blinken, in attempting to “bring Taiwan into the UN,” appears to believe, in defiance of the physical reality of the Covid pandemic, trans-Atlantic industrial and manufacturing collapse, and hyperinflation, and the counterposed physical economic achievements of China and its Belt and Road initiative, that he—or anyone—can turn back the clock to the “bad old days” prior to 1972, when the United States refused to recognize “Red China.” “Just as the spatial expanse and anti-entropic evolution of the universe are infinite, so is the intellectual and moral perfectibility of the human mind. The passage by both the House and Senate of President Biden's Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act in August, with a $1 trillion price tag, has provoked much discussion, but will do nothing to reverse the collapse, while its Green initiatives actually will speed up the decline of the U.S. as a manufacturing and agricultural power. Biden apologists have been insisting that, when taken together with his effort to pass a separate $3.5 trillion spending bill as a companion bill, it is the most significant infrastructure overhaul since Franklin Roosevelt's (FDR) New Deal pulled the U.S. out of the Great Depression after 1933. The details tell a different story. First, the much-hyped $1 trillion infrastructure plan only adds $550 billion to what had already been approved. Second, the total is to be parceled out over the next ten years! Third, the companion bill, which includes "energy" spending almost entirely allocated for "green" policies, is in the process of being whittled down, to appease fiscal hawks in both parties, so it can be passed before the Glasgow COP26 summit, to show the Biden administration's commitment to combating climate change. Biden personally lobbied Congressmen on October 21, pleading with them to pass the green spending bill, insisting that he needs this to make a positive show in Glasgow. "The prestige of the United States is on line," he said. "I need this to represent the U.S. overseas."
