The spectacle taking place on Jan. 20 in the nation’s Capital, as the 46th President of the United States is inaugurated before an “audience” of 26,000 armed soldiers, poses an existential question before the citizens of the nation, and to the citizens of the world. Will the US retain its sovereignty—as Ben Franklin said, “a Republic, if you can keep it”—or will the British finally be able to realize their 245-year intention to crush the upstart Republic, and return the “New World” to the Old World of the Empire? The British are depending upon the instigation of mass chaos within the Republic, tantamount to a civil war, with the hyper-democrats and the hyper-conservatives, both, defining freedom and democracy as the right of every autonomous individual to have the “democratic” right to destroy society, be it anarchist rioters looting and burning cities across the nation to protest “institutional racism,” or an attack on the nation’s Capitol Building to protest a stolen election. What is historically known as “gang-countergang” imperial methods to divide and conquer, is in full display in the nation today. While this tragic diversion is taking place, the City of London and Wall Street have already begun the implementation of a new fascist dictatorship, replacing the determination of economic policies by an elected government, based on the consent of the governed, as the Constitution defines, with a network of Central Bankers and “too big to fail” financial institutions with absolute authority to bypass the government altogether, directing credit away from the real economy into a new “green bubble.” All that is required is for the faux-president to declare the Green New Deal, and the bankers simply take over. The World Economic Forum has scheduled a mega-conference for Jan. 25-29 called “The Davos Agenda” to roll out “The Great Reset Initiative,” to celebrate the take-over of the US economy and the Western world by Green Finance, as developed over the past decades by Prince Charles, former Bank of England chief Mark Carney, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, Michael Bloomberg, and their oligarchical friends. BlackRock, which governs nearly $8 trillion (with a “t”) in rich folks’ money, has already begun the process, ordering power companies in South Korea, Australia, South Africa, the Philippines and more to cease producing coal-fired power plants or be bankrupted by a sudden withdrawal of their investors’ equity. Is this to “save the planet,” as the British Lords and Ladies insist, as the fake-news media insist, as Joe Biden’s controllers insist? Fairy tales for the gullible. Were our citizens not deprived of beauty, subjected to Lady Gaga rather than Marion Anderson, to rock music and rap rather than Beethoven and Schiller, they would not be so easily duped by fake science. Nor would they tolerate a few tech companies, which are subservient to the “surveillance state” under the NSA and the CIA, to literally declare themselves masters of information, that the 88 million Americans who wish to know what the President of the United States has to say can drop dead—or, as Hillary Clinton told Nancy Pelosi today, that the “cult followers” of President Trump should be investigated by a “new 9/11 Commission.” Simply discussing vote fraud has now been declared verboten by Big Brother. Fascism in not just this political censorship, nor the threat of a police state, or of a militarized nation as we see in Washington today. These are the social structures required to enforce fascism, which is, in essence, fascist economics, as in the Great Reset, Green Finance. The nation, and the world, will now be subjected to this new fascism. But it will soon expose itself. Helga Zepp-LaRouche noted today that ideology must eventually run into reality. Speaking of a conjunctural crisis such as we are experiencing today, the poet Percy Shelly said: “At such periods, there is an accumulation of the power of communicating and receiving profound and impassioned conceptions respecting man and nature.” The world is shocked at these developments within the United States. It is a moment in which souls must be uplifted, with beauty, with hope, and with courage, to break the divisions, to create unity behind the nature of man’s creative spirit, to unite the great nations of the world behind the vision of a new paradigm, as Lyndon LaRouche presented that idea, and the means to achieve it.

With just a week remaining in President Donald Trump’s administration, his Office of the Controller of the Currency (within the U.S. Treasury) promulgated a “Fair Access to Financial Services” rule on Jan. 13 which has angered Wall Street and, no doubt, annoyed Windsor Castle and the Old Lady of Threadneedle Street. The rule, if enforced, would appear to rule “green finance” out of order in the United States banking system, in spite of the Network of Central Banks and Supervisors for Greening of the Financial System which the Federal Reserve just joined after four years of being scared out of it by the President. The rule prohibits banks—although not using this term—from “redlining” companies or funds because they invest either in energy technologies, in agriculture or ranching, or in arms and armaments. No bank, under the rule, may decide or threaten not to lend to or invest in a group or class of companies or funds, as for example, coal and oil and engineering companies have been threatened out of fossil fuel power projects in African and South Asian countries under Mark Carney’s sundry central bank committees and “taxonomies.” Rather, the bank must provide the OCC with criteria and data supporting each case of “redlining” of each single company, and show that those criteria are financial, not climate, social or “governance.” Wall Street is very unhappy at this OCC action, as evidenced in the complaints in three consecutive days’ lead stories, Jan. 14-16, on the website of American Banker the ABA’s publication. Wall Street’s TV channel, CNBC, reported Jan. 14 that the rule “is not just opposed by the largest banks, but faced widespread opposition from legal scholars and environmental, social and governance experts.” Right up to Prince Charles, no doubt. If the Federal Reserve and the biggest Wall Street banks cannot coerce oil and coal companies into building big wind farms instead, farmer cooperatives into swearing off fertilizers and pesticides, ranchers into cutting their livestock herds, Joe Biden’s rejoining the Paris Climate Accord might be a hollow gesture. CNBC tried to reassure by quoting one “expert,” that “one way or another, this rule is not long for this world” under a Biden Administration. But it shows the adversary Trump remains to the Green Deal, and should be paid attention to and fought for. What the rule does, in effect, is what China and Russia and India do to make sure that their companies in the above sectors get credit—the difference being, that those countries make official statements welcoming the “zero-carbon” targets of the Paris Climate Accord while placing them decades off into the future. They are all involved in offering nuclear and clean-coal technologies to developing nations. Those are still first among the nations with which the United States can collaborate in nuclear development, space exploration, and in fact a new Bretton Woods credit system for such development.

The 1967 book by the title, Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community? was the fourth and last book written by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., assassinated in 1968. This weekend, the world honors his historic leadership, on the 92nd anniversary of his birth on January 15. Dr. King in his book, addressed the question: What creates grounds for hope, when we are caught in a time of crisis? His guidance comes through to us profoundly today. This theme will be taken up Monday, January 18 (1 to 4 pm ET,) in the special Schiller Institute international web conference, “A More Perfect Union through the Coincidence of Opposites: Martin Luther King and the American Presidency.” Participants include jurists from several nations, collaborating as a Commission on Truth in Elections, individuals from U.S. states, actively opposing the subversion of the elections process, and a keynote by Schiller Institute President, Helga Zepp-LaRouche. Dennis Speed, of the Schiller Institute and The LaRouche Organization, will introduce the event, “‘Injustice Anywhere Is a Threat to Justice Everywhere’—Martin Luther King and Today’s Crisis in the American Presidency.” At present, there are multiple assaults underway, aimed at plunging the U.S. population and institutions into chaos. Look at just the most obvious. First, with under three days to go before the inauguration of Joe Biden, the media are conducting fear-mongering 24-7, over the prospect of violence in Washington, D.C., state capitals, and other sites. Precautionary measures for public safety are one thing. But what is covered up, is that the Jan. 6th mob attack on the Capitol Building and Congress was a contrived, staged event, intended as rationalization for “emergency” police-state and surveillance measures in the aftermath, in the same way as Sept. 11, 2001 was used for the Patriot Act, and in the spirit of the 1933 Reichstag Fire. Secondly, there is the bandwagon to conduct an impeachment later this week in the Senate against Donald Trump, who will be a private citizen by then. This morning, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), the impeachment manager, discussed his “trial plan” on national television, which is madness on steroids. He intends to include not just the bogus impeachment article charge of “inciting to insurrection,” but to “tell the story of this President’s attack on America.” Thirdly, there is the push for racism and maximum social conflict. For example, American “whiteness” must be ended, was the theme sounded last week in a Washington Post guest column by Hillary Clinton, the has-been former Presidential Wall Street candidate, for whom the most extreme election illegalities were perpetrated in 2016. Her column, “America, We Need To Do Some Soul Searching” charged that, thanks to Trump, “whiteness is valued at the expense of everything else.” Fourth, there is the mass shutdown of communications through social media, targeting the President of the United States and thousands of others. Among others, Twitter banned Trump forever Jan. 8, cutting off access to 88 million people. Twitter founder, billionaire Jack Dorsey said about this, in a tape that recently came out: “We are forced to act on this one account … but we are going to go way beyond this after the inauguration….” There are more lines of chaos which could be enumerated. One thing is clear: These operations do not reflect an outbreak of coincidental dastardliness. They all trace back to serve the interests of the political/financial dictatorship plotting for terminal control of what’s left of the world economy, via their green “Great Reset” power grab, and outright depopulation they know will ensue. Glenn Greenwald, investigative journalist, made a related point on this today, when he said on a Fox News interview, that the Big Tech censorship was “not some unilateral power grab” out of Silicon Valley. No. There are “corporate and government” networks behind this, acting through the major media—CNN, New York Times and the rest, conducting a pressure campaign to make the censorship happen. The immediate intended impact on the public of all these lines of chaos underway is Schrecklichkeit—unreasoning fear. The message is: “We are evil. We are all powerful. We are insane. We are attacking you. There is nothing you can do about it.” That is the message, not only to Americans, but before citizens all around the world. However, in the calm of reason, there is plenty we all can do about it. That is the grounds for hope. The Schiller Institute Jan. 18 conference will take up our tasks. Among the priorities, along with exposing the financial fascism nature of the enemy, is mobilizing to roll back the pandemic and famine. The Jan. 18 conference invitation includes an excerpt from the speech given in Talladega, Alabama on January 19, 2004 by Lyndon LaRouche, at a prayer breakfast honoring Dr. King, by the Talladega County Democratic Party. LaRouche said: “We do not face a new problem today, in one sense. We face the same problem, in principle, that Martin faced. And faced successfully. And I would propose, that in the lesson of Martin Luther King, and his life, there is something we can learn today, which brings him back to life, as if he were standing here, alive, today. There’s something special about his life, his development, which should be captured today by us, not only in addressing the problems of our nation, which are becoming terrible; but the problems of our relationship with the world as a whole.” The Jan. 18 invitation summarizes our situation today, calling for deliberation, and collaboration. “The tragic events of Jan. 6, 2021 at the United States Capitol Building have overshadowed the condition that preceded them—a long-gestating breakdown of public trust in the institutions of government, including the electoral process. This distrust is epidemic throughout the trans-Atlantic sector, and has created a strategic instability of concern to the whole world. The continuing failure to work with Russia, China, India and other nations—nations governed by ideas and in ways divergent from our own—to reverse the foolish economic conditions and failed policies that turned the COVID-19 threat into a global pandemic will, if not reversed, soon bring down each and every government of the trans-Atlantic world.” Attend the event live—and afterward. Invite others. Spread the message of hope. https://schillerinstitute.nationbuilder.com/for_a_citizens_commission_on_truth_in_elections?utm_campaign=invitation_mlk_event&utm_medium=email&utm_source=schillerinstitute

On Monday, the Democrats introduced articles of impeachment, declaring that it is an impeachable offense to have challenged the vote fraud in the Nov. 3 election. They intend to vote it up, essentially without debate, on Wednesday. They also introduced a bill to remove from Congress every Republican who challenged the vote fraud, based on the 14th Amendment, which was designed to prevent Confederate leaders who had fought in the insurrection against the Union from becoming Congressmen. Get it? Challenging vote fraud is the same as waging a four-year bloody war against the Union in support of slavery and free trade. Meanwhile, the Democrats, and many Republicans, and of course the media, cheer on the fact that all major social media have denied access to the President of the United States, essentially silencing the President from his 73 million supporters. The First Amendment’s guarantee of free speech in America, and the Constitution as a whole, are being shredded. The world is shocked. Mexican President Lopez Obrador told the world that America is losing its freedom, that a new “Holy Inquisition” is coming into being which is a danger to the entire world. Similar sentiments are coming from every part of the world. At the same time, the bankers in the City of London and Wall Street are implementing the Great Reset, the “regime change” of the world financial system (as former Bank of England chief Mark Carney called it) into a post-industrial enforcement arm of the Green New Deal, denying credit to all fossil fuels, to most industry, and to modern high-tech agriculture. It is a system which can sustain at most 1-2 billion people. Do its sponsors know that? It is their intent. As Prince Philip famously said: “Human population growth is probably the single most serious long-term threat to survival. We’re in for a major disaster if it isn’t curbed—not just for the natural world, but for the human world. The more people there are, the more resources they’ll consume, the more pollution they’ll create, the more fighting they will do. We have no option. If it isn’t controlled voluntarily, it will be controlled involuntarily by an increase in disease, starvation and war.” Trump’s unacceptable dedication to progress, the oligarchy would like to think, has been crushed, as the Green New Deal is about to take over the United States under the senile Joe Biden. They are taking no chances, however, and have thus ripped up the Constitution in order to silence the President and all who support him. There is another danger facing these genocidalists, perhaps an even greater threat: China. Not only has China become the first nation in history to eliminate abject poverty, through mass infrastructure development and universal scientific and cultural education, but they are taking that method—once known as the “American System”—to the rest of the world, through the New Silk Road, the Belt and Road Initiative. Nations across the developing sector, and even in Europe, have ridiculed madman Mike Pompeo’s effort to unite the world against China as a threat to “our way of life” and the “rule of law.” The Asian nations united with China last November to create a fair trade system called the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). The EU in December signed a “Comprehensive Agreement on Investment,” to expand mutual trade and investment with China. African and South American nations look to China for the real development aid they have been denied under IMF-World Bank austerity dictates. The Anglo-American oligarchy is not pleased. With Pompeo as their leading hitman, they are willing to risk war with China, even nuclear war, to crush the Belt and Road. Not only has Pompeo directed the imposition of expansive sanctions on Chinese companies and individuals—sanctions which are doing more damage to American firms than to those in China—but he has now declared war on the “One China” policy, which has been the basis for peace and collaboration over these past fifty years. By lifting all special conditions for US relations with Taiwan, essentially treating Taiwan as an independent nation, rather than honoring the “One Country, Two Systems” policy which has maintained peace and prosperity in the region, Pompeo is threatening one of China’s core interests, its sovereignty. As you will see below, the Chinese will not shy away from the danger of war if their sovereignty is challenged. One must keep in mind what Bertrand Russell said, which stands, still today, as the ideological foundation of the Empire. To deal with the overpopulation problem, the good Lord said: “War has hitherto been disappointing in this respect, but perhaps bacteriological war may prove more effective. If a Black Death could be spread throughout the world once in every generation survivors could procreate freely without making the world too full.” Of course, with the advent of nuclear weapons, Lord Russell became more confident that war could kill enough people to solve the problem, advocating that the US launch a nuclear war on Russia before they could build their own bomb. The resolution to this existential crisis exists. The pandemic has threatened the lives of millions, not only death by the virus, but death by starvation. Never has the world been more in need of international cooperation to meet a crisis facing the entire world. Helga Zepp-LaRouch has initiated such cooperation, based on addressing the desperate health crisis facing all nations, rich and poor, due to the breakdown of public health in the advanced sector over the past decades through “privatization,” and the denial of public health facilities to large parts of Africa and Asia through IMF “conditionalities.” No nation alone can solve this crisis. Rather than war and the new fascism now threatening the United States, we call on President Trump to use his last days in the White House to call Presidents Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin, and other nations of good will, to join forces with the US in a global campaign to build modern health facilities in every nation on Earth. We call on each of you to join Zepp-LaRouche’s “Committee for the Coincidence of Opposites,” to address this health and food crisis as the starting point for a new paradigm for mankind.

Immediately led on Jan. 7-8 by Edward Snowden, Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and Michael Gorbachev, more leading figures in political life and journalism have attacked the attempt at total censorship of President Donald Trump by the IT billionaires of Silicon Valley, who are trying to impose total control over political speech in the United States—to start.Today German Chancellor Angela Merkel “blasted” (in Reuters description) Facebook and Twitter censorship of Trump. “The right to freedom of opinion is of fundamental importance,” Steffen Seibert, Merkel’s chief spokesman, told reporters in Berlin on Monday, according to Reuters. “Given that, the Chancellor considers it problematic that the President’s accounts have been permanently suspended.” The First Amendment “can be interfered with,” Merkel’s spokesman said, “but by law and within the framework defined by the legislature—not according to a corporate decision.” Bruno Le Maire, the French Economy Minister, called “the digital oligarchy” the threat to democracy; French Secretary of State for European Affairs Clément Beaune expressed “shock” at the Facebook and Twitter power grab and said, “This should be decided by citizens, not by a CEO,” The British liberal Guardian showed considerable disdain in reporting Australian Acting Prime Minister Michael McCormack’s statement denouncing the censorship of Trump—but that was Snowden’s warning: Those who think they like to see Trump silenced, will learn that this is a “turning point” and that if the IT giants can silence a U.S. President, they will try to use that power to silence anyone. Billionaire Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook pointed in that direction today in a statement implying no further discussion of the Nov. 3 election allowed by anyone—not just by Donald Trump. “We are now removing content containing the phrase ‘stop the steal’ under our Coordinating Harm policy from Facebook and Instagram. We removed the original Stop the Steal group in November and have continued to remove Pages, groups and events that violate any of our policies.” Investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald, who helped Snowden blow the whistle on the surveillance state, made the same point in a series of tweets today: “Tech monopolies—FB, Google, Apple, Amazon—have more concentrated wealth & power than any in history. They have used brute force 3 times in 3 months to manipulate US politics: censoring NY Post, banning Trump, destroying Parler. And liberals are overwhelmingly supportive.” Most recently, he declared: “these Silicon Valley monopolies are grave menaces to political freedom & economic well-being.” And prefaced the series: “Authoritarians never believe they’re authoritarians, no matter how much censorship, surveillance, jingoism, & imprisonment they demand. They tell themselves their enemies are so uniquely evil and dangerous—terrorists—that anything done in the name of fighting them is noble.” This stripping of free speech is now targeting Trump and his most vocal and active supporters. As Ed Snowden observed—echoing Martin Niemöller about the Nazis—you may say, “I’m no active Trump supporter, this is OK with me.” Is this for Biden? It was Joe Biden who, by his own boasting, wrote the Patriot Act in 1994—the Omnibus Counterterrorism Act of 1995. It wasn’t passed, but in 2002 when Attorney General John Ashcroft wrote the Patriot Act itself, he called Biden, recounts Caitlin Johnstone, and said “I’m introducing your bill from 1994.” Thus if the surveillance state has become the unconstitutional reality of life since 9/11—including making an unholy partnership between the military-intelligence complex and the IT billionaires of Silicon Valley—Joe Biden had already planned that future for America after the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. And Biden opposes any tampering now with Section 230 of the Federal Communications Act which allows these tech giants to masquerade as “neutral platforms” while giving them unprecedented censorship power. Experts are suddenly seeing what Trump meant about Section 230. The dean of Tufts University’s Fletcher School, for example, Bhaskar Chakravorti, on Jan. 10: “Jan. 6 ought to shape the future of tech as we know it. The only way in which social media doesn’t continue to be weaponized to undermine democracy, is by rethinking this critical piece [Section 230] that gave rise to the web as it is today and is the root of many of its evils.” Sen. Elizabeth Warren has appeared to forget that during the Presidential campaign she promised an anti-trust law to break the digital oligarchs’ companies up—“Glass-Steagall for tech.” They must be broken up. The President must not be silenced. At stake is American constitutional self-government.

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador used his daily morning press briefing on Jan. 8 to warn the world that the censorship taking place in the U.S. is a danger for the world, a new “Holy Inquisition” designed to “create a world government with the power to control social networks, a world media power.” The exchange occurred in response to a question from respected journalist Daniel Marmolejo. A three-minute video excerpt of the exchange, subtitled in English, was played on today’s LaRouche Manhattan Project Meeting, hosted by The LaRouche Organization (TLO). That video can be found on the TLO YouTube channel and is transcribed below.

This morning President Donald Trump made two announcements on his briefly restored Twitter service. He will not attend the Jan. 20 Biden inauguration. And he will serve as the “GIANT VOICE” for the interests of the American people “long into the future.” This is exactly the prospect that, even before 2016, made Trump a target for side-lining by the London/Wall Street networks, whose political wing perpetrated one dirty operation after another against the U.S. to get Trump out—Russiagate, impeachment, racism, then election subversion. Now, they are saying he is nuts. The Economist, the voice of the City of London, is chewing its nails over how to get him out fast. They have sent multiple e-mails on this since Jan. 6, and their Jan. 9 feature article has a fretful headline, “After the Insurrection: The Terrible Scenes on Capitol Hill Illustrate How Donald Trump Has Changed His Party. And How Hard It Will Be To Rid It of Him.”Trump stood firmly against the Paris Accord green dictates, and initially and strongly, for friendship diplomacy with Russia, China, and India (although he capitulated to Pompeo’s McCarthyite madness over the past year). Trump also backed agro-industrial and space activity, crash biomedical work, and pulling back U.S. troops from the “endless wars.” These are anathema to the monetarists and their system, whose leading mega-financial entities are now in a zombie state of being dead-but-not-buried, propped up by trillions of dollars of bail-outs and chicanery. To these interests, the Great Reset is their solution, since it involves dictatorial “governance” and banking practices of any kind, including causing sickness, famine and death—because they say, it will save the planet from CO₂. From Jan. 25-29, a five-day, 25 million-viewership media jamboree is in the works by the World Economic Forum, called “The Davos Agenda,” at which the Great Reset will be officially rolled out. This is the context in which to understand the meaning of the events of the hour. The Jan. 6 mob attack on the Capitol involved a glaring lack of routine safety preparedness, for a known possible threat element to be deployed, or take shape. Now the event is being used as the excuse for demanding Trump leave office in the next 13 days, and as an excuse for Big Tech to exert total rights of surveillance and censorship. This is the same way that after the Sept. 11, 2011 attack, similar “governance” measures were enforced, in the false name of public defense. There are three lines of action demanded against Trump as of now—activation of the 25th Amendment to put him out, impeachment, or his “voluntary” resignation. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has written to Vice President Pence demanding he activate the 25th Amendment protocol to remove Trump because he is “unhinged.” Today Pelosi talked with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley to take measures to isolate Trump from the nuclear weapons codes. She wrote today to Democrats to line them up in readiness for an impeachment vote. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) has entered a bill of articles of impeachment, the first three of which charge Trump with not “acknowledging” how Russia has been subverting the U.S. in different ways. The impeachment includes a clause barring Trump from any future public office of any kind, anywhere. Two other impeachment bills are being prepared. Meantime, former Secretary of State Colin Powell is saying, Trump should just “walk away” from office right now, like President Nixon did. Last night, Mark Zuckerberg, now infamous for pouring over $300 million to local election precincts—private money for public elections—informed President Trump that he can no longer use Facebook “indefinitely.” Why? Because, “We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great.” Of course, those political leaders who cheered on the mass riots, looting, arson and attacks on police all summer were never removed from social media—quite the opposite. This frenzied over-kill, however, by no means signifies strength. It is hysteria, and can be defeated. Multi-millions of people are not prepared to accept the new Great Reset, any more than in 2016 they would vote for London’s Hillary Clinton. It is self-evident to anyone thinking about it, that we have a big job today to roll back the pandemic, famine and economic decay caused by decades of neo-liberal, neo-conservative economics, which must be stopped. President Trump, with a phone call, can initiate the collaboration process with Russia, China and others at any time. To hell with the unhinged Schumer, Pelosi/London crowd. Lyndon LaRouche has shown the way for both policies and courage. A Trump exoneration of LaRouche, and pardon for Julian Assange and Edward Snowden is the best weapon right now. Understanding and acting on this Big Picture, is an essential part of the “truth in elections” campaign we are waging.

By Jason Ross Around 4:30 p.m., Trump tweeted a one-minute video, urging his supporters to go home. Standing in front of the White House, he said: “I know your pain; I know your hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election and everyone knows it, especially the other side. But you have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. We have to respect our great people in law and order. We don’t want anybody hurt. It’s a very tough period of time. There has never been a time like this, where such a thing happened, where they could take it away from all of us, from me, from you, from our country. This was a fraudulent election. But we can’t play into the hands of these people. We have to have peace. So go home. We love you. You are very special. You’ve seen what happens; you see the way others are treated, that are so bad and so evil. I know how you feel, but go home and go home in peace.”At first Twitter limited the distribution of the video (no likes, comments, or direct retweets), and then actually removed it, as did Facebook, which reported that it took the action on the astonishing basis that Trump’s call for leaving the Capitol peacefully “contributes to rather than diminishes the risk of ongoing violence”! Facebook has locked Trump out of the platform for 24 hours. The same censorious fate befell Trump’s now-removed 6:01 p.m. tweet, which read: “These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so long. Go home with love & in peace. Remember this day forever!” At 7:02 p.m., Twitter safety reported that Twitter had removed three of Donald Trump’s tweets and locked his account: “This means that the account of @realDonaldTrump will be locked for 12 hours following the removal of these Tweets. If the Tweets are not removed, the account will remain locked.” This means that even though Twitter has removed the Tweets, Trump must also delete them himself before they will allow him to use the platform. Twitter Safety warned President Trump that they were prepared to lock him out of Twitter entirely: “Future violations of the Twitter Rules, including our Civic Integrity or Violent Threats policies, will result in permanent suspension of the @realDonaldTrump account.” This means that during a state of emergency in Washington, D.C. and Virginia, after a historical intrusion into the Capitol, when people are demanding the impeachment or 25th Amendment removal of the President of the United States, he is unable to communicate directly with the people using the two most popular social media platforms.

British Judge Vanessa Baraitser today rejected the extradition request of the U.S. government for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, and ruled that it would be oppressive to extradite him to the United States where he might commit suicide in prison, Kevin Gosztola, managing editor of Shadowproof website, reported on Twitter and Jaclyn Diaz on NPR today. Judge Baraitser set a bail hearing for Wednesday, Jan. 6. The judge accepted essentially all of the U.S. Justice Department's charges against Assange lock, stock and barrel, and even implied he could be charged under the British Official Secrets Act as well. All involved understand that a pardon by President Donald Trump is the only way to end the physical and mental depression of Assange’s health under indefinite imprisonment, which caused Baraitser’s surprise denial of extradition. Perhaps she got the message that the UK wants to kill Assange itself, rather than having him commit suicide in the US, or potentially be pardoned there.Baraitser said that she believed that Julian Assange would likely be imprisoned at a U.S. supermax prison, with Special Administrative Measures. According to Gosztola’s article, Baraitser stated, “ ‘I am satisfied that, in these harsh conditions, Mr. Assange’s mental health would deteriorate, causing him to commit suicide with the ‘single-minded determination’ of his autism spectrum disorder” (only recently diagnosed in prison). Baraitser then declared, “I find that the mental condition of Mr. Assange is such that it would be oppressive to extradite him to the United States of America.” She pointed to a suicide attempt by Chelsea Manning in the Alexandria, Virginia Detention Center where Assange would be held before and during trial. Australian Associated Press quoted Kristinn Hrafnsson, editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks from his press statement, saying, “It is a day with a win for Julian Assange, but we have to be cautious, it’s not necessarily a win for journalism.... I am concerned that instantly upon giving her decision, the U.S. lawyers indicated they would appeal, but they should not.... Let’s be cautious in our victory celebration. As Stella said, the fight will not be over until Julian can go home and be with her and the boys,” he said, referring to Assange’s fiancée Stella Moris and the couple’s young sons. Assange’s partner Stella Moris, at an impromptu rally, called on President Donald Trump: “Mr. President, tear down these prison walls. Let our little boys have their father. Free Julian, free the press, free us all.” The U.S. government, Gosztola reported, will submit an appeal with the High Court of Justice, and Assange will have an opportunity to apply for bail from Belmarsh prison, where he has been imprisoned without any sentence since April 2019. Assange was charged there with 17 counts of violating the U.S. Espionage Act, and 1 count of conspiracy to commit a computer intrusion that contains elements of an Espionage Act offense. Then a superseding indictment in 2020 contained new general allegations that targeted Assange’s speeches at conferences and the role he allegedly played helping whistleblower Edward Snowden leave Hong Kong. While press organizations worldwide condemned the charges against Assange, arguing that he was carrying out simply common journalistic practices, Baraitser accepted all U.S. government charges. Many prominent supporters, members of Congress from Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) to Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), many organizations, including The LaRouche Organization have called for Assange’s pardon by President Trump. One of those supporters, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, announced today, “I’m going to ask the foreign minister to ask the U.K. government about the possibility that Mr. Assange go free and that Mexico offer him political asylum.” He called the denial of extradition “a triumph of justice,” but said “Assange is a journalist” and deserves his freedom.

Not many media outside imperial London would be arrogant enough—even after what they believe to be their successful coup against President Donald Trump—to publish a lengthy editorial entitled, “An Overhaul of U.S. Democracy”; with a kicker that the United States cannot be allowed a 2024 presidential election under the present Constitutional system of the republic. Abolition of all the inconvenient American Constitutional practices was published as orders to be carried out through a “high-level commission,” to be created by low-level Joe Biden in “one of his first acts.” This was done by the Washington Post Sunday on Jan. 3 with a follow-up editorial the next day on the same subject. The Post for decades has been a newspaper voice and leak sheet of the U.S. and British intelligence services; now, under increasingly interventionist ownership of world’s richest man Jeffrey Bezos, it is also speaking for the intersection of giant IT companies like Amazon with the military-industrial complex in the post-9/11 “surveillance state.” It demanded:Eliminate Article II, Sections 1 and 2 of the Constitution, where the role of state legislatures and electors is specified. Eliminate Article I, Section 4 and the 12th Amendment to the Constitution, to abolish the role of the Congress in the election of the President. Change the 1887 Electoral Count Act to further ensure that Congress has no role in certifying electoral votes. Don’t allow the House of Representatives to decide a tied or multi-candidate electoral result for President. In fact, “eliminate the threat of third-party spoilers” to the two-party duopoly entirely. Eliminate “partisan” state elected officials from administering elections; again, Article I, Section 4 of the Constitution must go. And more: Eliminate the role of states and counties in registering voters and keeping registration rolls, by mandating “universal registration” and possibly mandatory voting. Keep “better organized” polling places open “more often, and longer” than others; thus eliminate equal due-process under law in elections. Above all, expand mail-in voting to make it as near universal as possible. “Republicans” must not be allowed from here on, to scale back the huge mail-in voting of 2020. All this, “and there is much that a democracy commission could consider.” With these editorials the Post directly attacked those organizing through and beyond Jan. 21 for the restoration of truth and Constitutional practice in elections. But this warning is to the world as a whole. The City of London and Wall Street, with their interlinked intelligence services, will not again allow any nationalist republican leader to become a head of state, as in 2016. Not another FDR or JFK in America, nor another Jaurès or de Gaulle in France; nor a Moro or Salvini in Italy; for that matter, with Dominion Systems counting the votes, not another Duterte in the Philippines. “National election commissions” will make sure elections are conducted in such corrupt and colonialist ways that only candidates selected for backing by the City and Wall Street can win. Above all, no other Lyndon LaRouche, nor one of the real LaRouche’s supporters, is to be allowed so much as a few delegates or electors, or to become “spoilers” as they did around the United States in the 1980s. The real issue is Alexander Hamilton’s American System of economics, its adoption in many nations in Europe and Asia. LaRouche’s fundamentally advanced Hamilton’s core idea that human creative discovery is the driver of economies, and more progress requires more people, better skilled and more creative human beings, great development projects across continents. That is available to any and all nations, whose citizens wake up in sufficient numbers in this crisis and take responsibility for a better future. It is what those who just spoke their demands through the Washington Post, are determined never to allow a President like Donald Trump even to consider. Only the “Great Reset” to economic austerity and zero-carbon primitivism can be allowed, or so they believe. But in fact, citizens’ openness to LaRouche’s ideas and movement are growing as they haven’t since his very public persecution and imprisonment in the 1980s. We fight for his exoneration now to unleash that process like a Renaissance. We call for Presidential pardons for Julian Assange and Edward Snowden now, to throw over the surveillance state game for which the Washington Post thinks it is appointed a judge and referee. And we organize for a summit of great powers where Hamilton’s and LaRouche’s American System becomes a new international system of credit for development.

Pennsylvania State Rep. Russ Diamond and a group of other legislators from that state are raising the possibility that no presidential electors will be sent from Pennsylvania to Congress on Wednesday, Jan. 6. This follows from their conclusion that the sweeping extent of the voting irregularities, and the illegal, non-legislated nature of the electoral procedures, the winner of the election is simply unknown.
|
Appearing on the Maria Bartiromo show this morning, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, who assembled a group of 11 GOP senators to object to the certification of the Nov. 3 election and propose a ten-day audit of the election, supports withholding certification of the electors from half a dozen states, until such an audit is completed. Responding to polls showing a large portion of U.S. voters who believe there was fraud during the election, Cruz expressed his disappointment that the Supreme Court declined to take cases from Pennsylvania and Texas, denying that forum as a way of resolving the issues presented. Therefore, he reasoned, the Congress has a responsibility to determine whether the election was properly conducted.Cruz pointed to the problems in two approaches: One being simply to allow the process to play out on Wednesday, Jan. 6 without objecting to the injustice, and the second being attempts to decide, on Jan.6, that Donald Trump won the election. Declaring both proposals unprincipled, Cruz explained that he looked back to the 1876 Hayes-Tilden election, and the creation at that time of an electoral commission—comprising House members, Senators, and Supreme Court Justices—to look into vote fraud and come to a determination. Responding to calls from other Senators, including Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, to refrain from objecting, Cruz pointed to the responsibility to determine the truth, given that 39% of Americans consider the election to have been rigged. Failing to resolve the accusations would be a grave failure to defend American democracy. As the investigation unfolds, the states may be called upon to appoint electors as they deem fit. Regarding the right of Congress to intervene into the counting of electoral votes, Cruz pointed to the Electoral Count Act of 1887, established in the wake of the 1876 election. (Although this Act, being legislation, could be challenged to the extent that it conflicts with the U.S. Constitution and its Amendments.) Representatives Jim Jordan and Mo Brooks then joined the program. Rep. Jordan explained his understanding of the basic mechanics he expects to operate on Wednesday: Pence will count states one at a time, Members of Congress and Senators have an opportunity to object to each state’s Electors, in which case the two houses of Congress will separately debate for up to two hours and vote on whether to accept them. If, at the end of the process, neither candidate has received the votes of 270 Electors (although it is unclear whether rejected Electors count towards the total number of votes from which a majority is required to avoid the next step), the House will vote state-by-state, which would result in the re-election of President Donald Trump. The main basis of the objection is the non-legislative manner of changing the electoral process in the states in question, thereby violating the constitutional provision that state legislatures choose the means of appointing electors—in this case, through elections whose conduct they determined by legislation. Rep. Brooks identified six states whose electoral slates he intended to object to: Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, George, Arizona, and Nevada. He expressed his commitment to standing up against the violation of the Constitution in the conduct of the election. Asked to detail the electoral irregularities that concerned him, Brooks referred to tens of thousands of improper votes—dead people voting, people voting twice, ballots being pulled out from underneath tables, ballots counted after observers were removed from the room, non-residents voting, non-legislated extensions of access to mail-in ballots, and more. While the mechanics of challenging the electoral slates from individual states is clearly spelled out in the 1887 Act, the means of creating a commission on Wednesday are less clear. And if the House and Senate disagree on whether to accept a state’s Electors, the 1887 Act calls for accepting the Electors sent by the respective states’ governors. Even if the challenges do not succeed, they are definitely the right thing to do, and they will set the stage for continuing the fight.

The LaRouche Organization and the Schiller Institute today hosted a powerful virtual Town Hall meeting with representatives of the state legislatures and activists from four of the states in which the presidential election is contested, and others, presenting evidence of the massive vote fraud and irregularities in the election, and discussing the profound impact of this fight for the future of the nation and the world. The forum was part of a mobilization of concerned citizens to create a Citizens Commission for Truth in Elections, which will hold a founding conference on Jan. 17. As expressed by the moderator Dennis Speed of the Schiller Institute in opening the Town Hall meeting, the stealing of the Nov. 3 election is not only a threat to Donald Trump’s reelection, nor even simply to the U.S. Constitution, but a threat to civilization, to determine—in the words of Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War regarding the American System experiment—“testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived, and so dedicated, can long endure.”Speaker after speaker reported on the massive evidence, in plain sight, of the irregularities and outright fraud in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin, insisting that if this fraudulent election is allowed to stand, then the faith in the electoral process in the United States will be destroyed. They addressed the role of the corrupt media, which repeats the mantra of “unsubstantiated claims” of vote fraud ad nauseam, and the corrupt courts, which have dismissed every case, not on the merits, but on procedure, without hearing the evidence. It was emphasized that the clear language of the Constitution grants the state legislators—not the courts nor other officials—the sole responsibility for electoral rules in each state, but that this fact has been repeatedly broken in several states. The focus now is on Jan. 6, when the electoral votes are to be presented to a Joint Session of Congress. Already several members of the House of Representatives and the Senate intend to challenge the electors from the contested states.

We should have no illusions about what is facing the citizens of the United States and every nation in 2021. This year will be one of all-out battle with revived Malthusianism—the dogma that our resources are too few and we are too many and must be culled, our populations reduced. Growing in force since the disaster of the 2015 Paris Climate Accord, this British Malthusianism is backed by the financial powers of the City of London, by the Wall Street global investment firms and banks, and all the most powerful central banks, now including the Federal Reserve which has just defied President Donald Trump by joining the Bank of England’s “Network for Greening the Financial System.” This plague of economic and political life now goes under the names of “zero carbon”—and from the financial elite, the “Great Reset.”At the top of the leadership of this British Malthusianism we must defeat, are Prince Charles, of the British royal family which has always wanted to depopulate the human race; his close friend Mark Carney, formerly of the Bank of England who has been the world’s most powerful central banker since 2014; Carney’s partner the Wall Street-City of London billionaire Sir Michael Bloomberg, instrumental in putting Joe Biden in a Democratic presidential suit. Their forces have used the COVID pandemic not only to steal an election from President Donald Trump, who defied them, but to push weakened governments and industrial companies into accepting environmentalist austerity. Rebuilding industry, advancing science and technology are out; only an economy without fossil fuel energy, without livestock farming or chemical fertilizers or meat, without high-quality steel, without air travel will be permitted financing or credit. This is the absurd “Build Back Better” Joe Biden plagiarized from U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Prince Charles’s crowd think 2021 is theirs. “This will be Year Zero” says Klaus Schwab the chief Davos Man who runs the World Economic Forum, specifically adding that Biden is theirs and so are the European Union, Japan and China. Prince Charles in a Dec. 30 interview congratulated himself on the “complete change of approach” of private business to his view in the past 18 months, and in the same talk said we should take our economics from tribes of “First Nations.” Mark Carney in the London Financial Times said we’ll have to spend “$100 billion a year” offsetting our use of carbon products—and so we’ll stop using them. Malthus infamously said: Let diseases run their course and reduce population, don’t try to stop them; let hunger take its course to starvation, food enough for all human beings cannot be produced. What do we have, occurring worldwide, now? But President John F. Kennedy, speaking in 1963 to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, said: “For the first time in the history of the world we do know how to produce enough food now to feed every man, woman, and child in the world, enough to eliminate all hunger completely…. For the first time to know how to conquer the problem and not conquer it would be a disgrace for this generation. We need to help transmit all that we know of farm technology to the ends of the Earth, to overcome the barriers of ignorance and suspicion. The key to a permanent solution to world hunger is the transfer of technology which we now have to food deficit nations.” That was the “American” spirit of progress which took mankind to the Moon after JFK was killed, and will take mankind back there and to Mars now. It was the American republic’s world-changing development—from the Revolution through World War II and Project Apollo, which completely crushed the British influence of Malthus and his ilk. No one looking up at Americans on the Moon, or looking back from the Moon, believed there were too many people and too few resources. The ugly Malthusian idea did not get a foothold among us again until after the 1970s, after London banks caused the downfall of FDR’s Bretton Woods system and started the deindustrialization of America, which has now gone on for 50 years. In 2021 we have to defeat this evil reduction of the human race. We are celebrating Beethoven’s 250th year; he had the fortitude to live mentally in a future of Promethean human beings who would learn from his music to scorn oligarchs like Prince Charles. We have Lyndon LaRouche who supplied us with the weapons of economic policy for this fight, known now as his “Four New Economic Laws.” And we have a good campaign ahead of us.

The British Empire is making feverish preparations—all the while looking nervously over their shoulder—to celebrate what they expect will be their strategic victory in removing Donald Trump from the White House on January 20, 2021. But that is not a done deal. The ongoing legal challenges up to the Supreme Court on vote fraud are important, as is the political mobilization of the American population against that fraud. But most important, Helga Zepp-LaRouche emphasized today, is what Trump could do to turn the tables entirely on the British, between now and Jan. 20, and define a totally new strategic situation which is to their great disadvantage.“Given the fact that he is surrounded by scoundrels, even in the White House, in the Republican Party, and in the Democratic Party, if I were Trump I would try to completely turn over the chessboard,” Zepp-LaRouche stated. “What he could do, despite the anti-Russia and anti-China campaign, he could call up Russian President Vladimir Putin and say: ‘Look, we have a pandemic which is out of control in many places. We have a famine. We have an extremely dangerous strategic confrontation. We have an unresolved financial crisis. Let’s hold the UN Security Council permanent members (P5) summit meeting you proposed back in January 2020, and do it immediately, on an emergency basis.’ “Once you have this combination of Trump, Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, they could work out an approach to how to solve all these problems. French President Emmanuel Macron would for sure go along, because he is primarily a chameleon. And Britain’s Boris Johnson, in that combination, is a relative lightweight. So it could work! I don’t know if Trump has the temperament to do it, but that is definitely something he should be doing.” Zepp-LaRouche continued: “Then, Trump has other things he should be doing, like pardoning Julian Assange and Edward Snowden, and especially the exoneration of Lyndon LaRouche, for all the reasons we have discussed many times. “Such actions would immediately turn the tables on the so-called ‘Deep State,’ on the British role of Russiagate, and on the British coup against Trump,” as would declassifying all the relevant documents and appointing a special counsel to investigate the entire British coup. These are powerful things that Trump could do to destabilize the whole British “fix” in the first weeks of January 2021. All of this is urgent, Zepp-LaRouche concluded, “because what is clearly shaping up is the oligarchy’s plan to impose the ‘Great Reset.’ If Biden comes in, that is going to be his program. The new budget bill signed by the Congress for the first time sets a goal of a zero carbon emission economy for the U.S., which would mean that both the EU and the United States would have a policy that means, in the relative short term, the death of any industry, and of all industrial states.” And this deadly Malthusian policy was promoted once again in an interview by Prince Charles with BBC yesterday, Zepp-LaRouche warned. That is why the tables must be turned now.

Helga Zepp-LaRouche, on Dec. 28, in a discussion with Schiller Institute members from the United States, Canada, Gambia, Ireland, Denmark, Italy, and Germany about the insanity of Secretary of State Pompeo amidst the danger of extreme international tensions amidst the pandemic, and the threat of a famine of biblical proportions, said that it was of urgent importance for President Donald Trump to call Russia and China immediately to convene the P5 summit called for by Russian President Putin in January of this year. She said: “I think that President Trump, no matter what happens on January 6, whether or not he will be in the White House on January 20, he could do one thing. He could immediately call up Russia and China and say that because of the crisis, because of the pandemic, because of the famine, because of the danger to world peace, that he wants to respond to the offer of Putin to have the summit of the permanent five members on the UN Security Council, which President Putin has been advocating since January. Trump should say that he wants to have that summit right away. And that would be the very best thing he could do to counter all of this propaganda. “The more people call the White House to suggest that, and who express [the need for the summit] in any other way, the better. I have no idea why Trump has not kicked out Pompeo. He is the same as Bolton on many of these issues. President Trump did have the courage to kick out Bolton. That was one of the best things he ever did. “But I think to outflank [these dangers], in this incredibly complex situation, is for President Trump to now follow up on Putin’s offer for this summit, and meet with Putin, and Xi Jinping. This meeting can happen. French President Macron has already said he supports having such a summit, [U.K. Prime Minister] Boris Johnson has said he is in favor of it. But the truly important people are Presidents Trump, Putin, and Xi Jinping, who will be the difference in such a meeting. Johnson and Macron could not ruin such a combination. That is the one thing that Trump must be encouraged to do. I’m 100% sure that Russia and China would absolutely go for it immediately.”

Helga Zepp-Larouche gave this important strategic briefing on December 29th, 2020, in a discussion with associates. The world urgently needs the intervention of our organization, because it’s very clear that while the receptiveness for our ideas exists, we are absolutely needed as the binding force to put together the different elements which are already all driving in the direction of centrifugal division on the one side, but confrontation on the other. So, what we have to do, and we should not relax and say we are in a seasonal period, and [will pick up things] after the New Year period is over, because we are right now in the most important period, where still something can be done. And I would say, especially in the period between now and January 6 is a period where certain policies have to be put on the agenda. And I would like the entire international organization to really focus on that as a package: What Trump still could do—I mean, first of all on Jan. 6, there will be a meeting in the Congress certifying the result of the Electoral College or not. In the United States, we are mobilizing on the one side to get state legislators to take seriously the fact that the most enormous vote fraud ever in the history of the United States has taken place, to not certify the result, but to reopen the investigation into the vote fraud. That is obviously extremely important, because if the United States is being de facto being turned into a banana republic, where the principles of the republic are eliminated, then this has strategic implications for the whole world. Obviously, that is a question which only people from the U.S. can do, but there are a lot of things which are international issues, which should be also worked on and mobilized around. One thing, given the fact that the anti-China, anti-Russia campaigns in the United States are escalating in a very dangerous way, and all the signs are that if Biden comes in with the present policies and teams which are visible, you can expect a very dramatic escalation in the direction of war with these two countries. So therefore, what Trump could do, and that is not just a question of the internal situation in the United States, but of strategic importance concerning everybody, Trump could turn the tables: He could absolutely not go by the profile which was designed for him by British intelligence, since 2015, but especially then, with Russiagate and especially the design of the policy to blame China for the COVID pandemic: He could immediately turn the tables and respond to Putin’s proposal to conduct a P5 summit on the basis of the different emergencies, the need to cooperate together on fighting the pandemic, to fight the world famine of “biblical dimensions,” but to also permanently get at the roots of the apparatus which was behind Russiagate by pardoning Assange and Snowden, by appointing a special prosecutor, and that way, if he would go with this package as a totality, he could do a lot! He could turn the tables even at this very late moment in history. So therefore, we should make that an issue in the organizing everywhere, not just in the United States, but in Europe, and everybody else we’re talking to. Because how the different players of this strategic situation behave and what they regard as options, is absolutely not a matter of internal U.S. politics, and from that standpoint, one of the most important developments in the last period was, for sure, what we did yesterday with the event in commemoration of the Alexandrov Ensemble, where we had for the fourth time, an annual at the Teardrop Memorial [in Bayonne, New Jersey overlooking New York harbor], where, despite the COVID restriction and therefore a limited number of people could be there, took place. We had the Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Chumakov; Capt. Donald Haiber of the Bayonne, N.J. Fire Department and naturally we had Diane Sare and John Sigerson speaking on behalf of the Schiller Institute, and this was an extremely important event. Now, especially if you listen to what Mr. Chumakov said, who after all, is the number two in rank in the Russian United Nations mission, and therefore continuing in the tradition which was set especially throughout this year by Mr. Dmitry Polyanskiy before, by stressing—he said: “Ladies and Gentlemen: Today is the fourth time we get together to honor the memory of the victims of a plane crash that took place in the skies over Sochi on 25 December 2016. Back then we lost almost all members of Alexandrov Ensemble….” And then he said, "I would like to express our deep appreciation to the Schiller Institute and the Fire Department of Bayonne. Annual meetings like this one have become our good tradition, which makes them all the more significant. We commend the efforts of American community to preserve the memory of those outstanding Russian musicians and luminaries in the United States. This year even the coronavirus pandemic could not stop us from gathering here. “Solidarity and mutual help are especially needed today, when the humanity has faced an unprecedented threat—COVID-19 pandemic. For the sake of our common future, peoples and states of the world need to erase all dividing lines, and channel their creative forces to articulating a joint response to this global challenge. “Russia and the United States, as two Permanent Members of the Security Council, bear special responsibility for sustaining global peace and security. In this context, it is of principal importance that the people of our two countries maintain most cordial relations and promote inter-state ties at the civil society level. “This is why it widely resonates in our hearts that American people empathize with our loss and grieve along with us. “May the memory of the deceased heroes live forever. The hope and the light that they conveyed to the world will perpetuate in the souls of those who admired their talent and dedication both in Russia and in the United States.” [https://russiaun.ru/en/news/alexandrovchoir28122020] Now, this is very important, because in a situation where the McCarthyite witchhunt in the United States has reached unprecedented pitch levels, it is extremely important that such an event is taking place, because it still is the only road how to go back from the confrontation which can only lead in a complete disaster. Now, therefore, our pushing the summit, despite the unlikelihood of it in the eyes of many is not going to be happening, it is all the more important that we do that, because if you want to have a way out of the present dilemma, then, here it is. The Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin, in an interview Dec. 28 with Rossiiskaya Gazeta basically warned of the “Western increased military multiplexing near the Russian border, which may have far-reaching consequences.” And he said, “In 2020, the activity of the air and naval forces [of NATO] has increased significantly, and situations that can lead to serious incidents are increasingly emerging,” Fomin said, “These actions were openly provocative. The incidents were avoided only thanks to the high level of professional training of Russian pilots and sailors.” [https://www.rt.com/russia/510901-nato-activity-borders-moscow-defense/] Now, here you have it, and that’s what I said several months ago repeatedly, that if world peace depends on the flight techniques of a pilot, it gives you a sense in what grave danger we are. The other major confrontation with China, it’s already clear that Biden is making that, holding China accountable an absolute priority of his foreign policy. He met with Kamala Harris and the national security review team, and gave the press afterwards a prepared statement, and walking out before any questions could be asked. He basically said that the priorities of his administration will be 1) Climate change; 2) COVID; and 3) the daunting threat of China. And he said, “we will hold China’s government accountable for its abuses on trade, technology, human rights, and other fronts, and we will build coalitions of like-minded partners and allies” to basically face the strategic challenge from both Russia and China. So this is a continuation of this—as a matter of fact, you can be sure it will be an escalation, and therefore it is extremely important that we push the idea of a new paradigm, the absolute need to have a meeting on the level of the summits of presidents, and that we counter this in the strongest possible way. There has been an interview with Chas Freeman with Global Times [https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202012/1211082.shtml]. You know Chas Freeman who spoke at our Schiller Conference in Berlin in 2016 and who was the translator for Nixon when Nixon went to China in 1972. And he has been ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and other countries. He is asked by Global Times, that “Foreign Minister Wang Yi recently said on several occasions that China’s door for dialogue is open any time,” and what is your response and what do you think the U.S. will do? And he basically said that: Yes, the two countries must talk seriously, the challenges, what might be done about it in parallel or together. And then as he is asked that “Former vice foreign minister of China Fu Ying in a column for the New York Times proposes China and the U.S. develop a relationship of cooperative competition.” And he said, this is exactly his view that the two countries must deal with each other pragmatically [and] he thinks this idea of Fu Ying is important. [https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/24/opinion/china-us-biden.html] And Fu Ying, if you remember, not only praised the World Land-Bridge publicly at conferences, but also at the Munich Security Conference gave several very reasonable speeches. So she is definitely a voice of dialogue and trying to find a way of solving things in China. I think this strategic situation is what we should really focus on, and the time between now and no matter what happens on Jan. 20th, it could very well be that the tables can still be turned—we will see—but obviously the forces trying to scratch such a possibility are quite in an uproar and they’re escalating by the day, anti-China, anti-Russia, trying to creating havoc, and for sure, box Trump in by having some of the pro-Trump forces being the most vicious anti-China elements, completely trying to box Trump in. So our mobilization internationally is of the utmost importance. Now, the situation overall is that the push by the Davos crowd and Soros and the Great Reset which they have planned now for a virtual conference for Jan. 25-29, this is a complete disaster, and we should absolutely escalate our mobilization against that. We will feature what would be the Great Reset, which we have done in several articles already, but we will escalate that, because the whole thing is based on a fraud, on fraudulent science, on a wrong premise of why climate change is taking place, that it’s manmade, and it is a swindle. And even the fact that there seems to be a very far-reaching agreement, especially with Biden potentially coming in, and Ursula von der Leyen, that doesn’t mean that their view of the “science” of the whole thing has anything to do with reality. So we should absolutely escalate that campaign as well. Because, don’t kid yourself: We are still heading for a major collapse of the economy which will only be worsened with the Green agenda: Look at Commerzbank, they may cut 10,000 jobs in the next period. Rather than rebuilding the health system, it now turns out two-thirds of the German clinics are now threatened with insolvency, they’re planning to close down many of the small hospitals; they’re not rebuilding the health system is the way it would be necessary, and I think the fact that Dr. Tedros from the World Health Organization said that he is completely shocked about the behavior of governments in this respect, because it is very clear that COVID will not be the last pandemic, that the reaction of the governments is “dangerously short-sighted” with their cycle of throwing cash at outbreaks, but doing nothing to prepare for the next one. That “we throw money at the outbreak and when it’s over, we forget about it, and nothing is done to prevent the next one. This is dangerously short-sighted and frankly difficult to understand.” And then he calls for a permanent building of a modern health system worldwide, because unless that is accomplished, there is no safety, and the next pandemics will, for sure, come. While one should note that the present pandemic is clearly out of control in many places; in Europe, in several countries, they don’t get the infection rates down, there is talk about a lockdown into April in Germany; and in the United States is very clearly out of control in southern California, in central California, but also several other states. So this policy is clearly—the elites absolutely refuse to take the lessons from Asia, and instead, they keep doing their privatization of the health sector. Now, to the extent that China has managed to not only contain the pandemic, but also as a result get the economy back into shape, while the West is still looking for the worst to come—these are the words of Dr. Fauci, for example,—the anti-China campaign is escalating to the degree that China is coping with COVID and getting its economy going, and they are just trying to escalate against China’s rise, instead of learning the lessons of why this happened. Now I find this quite interesting that in the last meeting in the UN Security Council, where the German Ambassador Christoph Heusgen—a notorious warhawk and Atlanticist—asked Beijing for the release of two Canadians who are in jails. He said, “Christmas is the right moment for such a gesture.” And then the Chinese Ambassador Geng Shuang said, “Now, I wish to say out of the bottom of my heart: Good riddance, Ambassador Heusgen.” That shows you a certain healthy self-consciousness on the part of the Chinese before these provocations. [Ed. Note-for the full transcript of the answer of Ambassador Geng Shuang on the case of Canadian Michael Kovrig, see the following link] [http://chnun.chinamission.org.cn/eng/hyyfy/t1842159.htm] As I said, the worst is still to come and the solution absolutely has to be what we have said the whole time: We need a modern health system in every single country, and you need to remedy the reasons why these pandemics can rage in the way that they do, which is the underdevelopment of the developing countries. This is why the work of the Committee of the Coincidence of Opposites is so important, which is actually active, and will act in a decisive way in the next days. So, I think this covers the most important developments and locates where we stand strategically.

The world’s central bankers, guided by former head of the Bank of England Mark Carney, have activated their genocidal plan to use the power of the central banks and the associated “too big to fail” mega-banks to take over economic policy from elected governments, cutting off credit to any business which produces what they consider to be too large a “carbon footprint.” The fact that carbon has nothing to do with climate is known to every competent scientist in the world—those who rely on creative mentation rather than computer projections. The British Imperial plan is not about climate; this is nothing but the latest manufactured excuse for committing genocide. Once it was eugenics—that the “inferior races” in Africa and India simply didn’t understand the “moral necessity” of carrying out contracts to export their food, simply because millions of Indians and Africans were starving to death. (See Matthew Ogden’s coming article in EIR on how the forced famines in India helped convince America’s Founding Fathers to revolt against the British Empire.) Then it was the “natural law” of the “right to private property” (see Fred Haight’s coming article in EIR on John Locke’s “constitution” for his slave colony of Carolina, defining the right to own people as God’s natural law. This genocidal view was kept out of the U.S. Constitution, which instead asserted Leibniz’s “right to pursue happiness.”)Now it is the scientific fraud known as “anthropogenic climate change” created by carbon—carbon which is generated by machines, by farm animals, and by human beings. No matter that carbon is the food for plant life—it must be eliminated, and the people and the animals along with it. As an ideology, this evil movement has been denounced, and countered with real science, for decades by the LaRouche movement. But now it is no longer an ideological issue. It is a Malthusian scheme to carry out Prince Charles’s proposed reduction of the human population to about 1 billion people—which the British Lords and Ladies describe as the maximum “carrying capacity” of our Earth. Recall that Bertrand Russell once said: “If a black death could be spread throughout the world once in every generation survivors could procreate freely without making the world too full.” And it was Barack Obama who told the young Africans at a university in Soweto that they must not aspire to having big houses, air conditioning and cars, lest the world “boil over.” It is obvious to any thinking human being, that the current pandemic and the famine it has engendered—today’s “black death”—could have been prevented had the Western nations not intentionally taken down their health care systems as part of the “privatization” process—short- term profit over human lives—while also denying access to functioning health care systems to the developing nations. Resolving this crisis requires cooperation between the world’s leading economies and scientific institutions, especially those of the U.S., China, and Russia. Consider this in trying to understand the thinking behind the demonization of Russia and China. Are the proponents of this new McCarthyism in the U.K. and the U.S. unaware that this division of the world into competing, geopolitical blocs is causing millions of deaths—or is this their intent? President Trump was elected because he rejected this Cold War relic, insisting that “it is a good thing, not a bad thing” to be friends with Russia and with China. He was maneuvered into backing off that noble commitment by the Russiagate coup plotters and the military-industrial spokesmen who maneuvered themselves into his Cabinet. It is not too late for Trump to act. Were he to call a summit of Presidents Putin, Xi, and himself to address all aspects of the global crisis, the controlled environment could be broken. Pardoning Julian Assange and Edward Snowden would be a useful first step. The LaRouche Organization (see www.laroucheorganization.com) was founded just before Christmas, to address all these aspects, together with the Schiller Institute (www.schillerinstitute.com), and to pull together those people of good will around the world who otherwise are isolated. This is a crisis of civilization, not of each individual nation. It can be the opportunity to implement a new paradigm for mankind as a whole, if people act.

The economic legislation President Donald Trump refused to sign until Sunday night was in fact “a disgrace” in a way the President—whose important speeches are now boldly blacked out by the media—did not make clear to the American people. The inclusion of the outlines of the “Green New Deal” in the Fiscal 2021 budget, complete with a “zero carbon” pledge as ordered by British central banker Mark Carney; the sudden claim of the Federal Reserve chair that the worse-than-worthless Fed has a “climate change” mandate; these are indeed travesties. President Trump’s solitary but strong opposition to the deadly Paris Climate Accord—along with his sins against London geopolitics and war policy—led to the ongoing coup against him. Had he been able to run his re-election campaign against the “Green New Deal,” as he enthusiastically intended to do, the resulting national debate could have organized Americans against that kind of economic death—and opened up popular discussion of how to rebuild the deindustrialized economy. But the election campaign was swallowed up in the pandemic and racial issues, a campaign in which the entire national media slandered and fought the President while the Democratic candidate hid, concealing his commitment to the “Great Reset” and Green New Deal behind a plagiarized British slogan, “Build Back Better.” Whose is the “Great Reset”? Britain’s Charles, Prince of Wales and Duke of Davos, leader of “Green Horizon Summits” and partner/mentor of Mark Carney and Sir Michael Bloomberg in running “green finance.” Who first created a “green deal” and a Green Party, 15 years ago? The same radical eco-Prince, whose royal family has for decades wished for a reduction, a culling of the human population. For his anti-production, anti-population initiatives, Carney and Bloomberg now head committees of the biggest central banks, ordering companies and funds to stop producing or investing in anything carbon, from energy sources to fertilizers to petrochemicals. What is the Green New Deal (European “Green Deal”) but the final completion of 50 years of deindustrialization, during which the United States and most European economic powers have lost their machine-tool industries and all their advanced productive capacities except electric power and energy, and agriculture. Now those are to be forced back in time to windmills and sun mirrors, unstable electric grids, farming without chemical fertilizer or livestock, to “save the planet” by the sacrifice of large numbers of the human population. What are the developing countries, many of which still have half their population with no reliable electricity at all, supposed to do with coal and oil investment shut down by Charles and Carney’s gang of central bankers, and no funding for nuclear power? The United States and European nations themselves will lose reliable power, and high-technology agriculture. The COVID pandemic has already hit food production and distribution and spread famine. And the nuclear power sources that NASA is developing for fast space propulsion and power on the Moon and Mars? Will we let those shut down? That the Congress overwhelmingly incorporated the “zero carbon” target into a federal budget, and the Fed defied the President by joining Carney’s Network for Greening the Financial System, tells citizens that it is now up to them to mobilize to stop this. Some will have to lead as citizen-candidates who fight for the most advanced technologies of energy, industry and space exploration. These huge banks in the City of London and Wall Street themselves must be broken up in the process to make them serve national purposes, by a Glass-Steagall Act and by nationalizing the central banks, including the Federal Reserve. And Lyndon LaRouche always advised: The United States and other nations which reject this economic suicide—particularly China, Russia, India—will have to collaborate to defeat it.

The Dec. 22 speech to the nation by President Donald Trump, straightforwardly laying out the fraud perpetrated on the American people by the 2020 general election, was almost entirely blacked out nationally and internationally. In that speech, which is published in full in the Jan. 1, 2021 EIR, the President said: “My campaign received more votes than any President in history. Almost 75 million people voted for me. We earned approximately 12 million more votes than we got in 2016—the largest vote increase for an incumbent President ever recorded. “I also received the largest share of non-white voters of any Republican in over 60 years. In fact, we did better with African American and Hispanic voters everywhere in the country, except for a small handful of corrupt Democrat-run cities in key swing states—places notorious for fraud—such as Milwaukee, Detroit, Atlanta, and Philadelphia—all run by Democrat machine politicians.“No President has ever lost reelection while making such extraordinary gains across the board. There’s never been anything like it. Yet, despite all of this evidence of a thundering Trump victory, and all of those projections all through the night, they want us to believe that Joe Biden, who seldom left his basement to campaign, somehow received 11.7 million more votes than Barack Obama, and he beat Barack Obama all over the country. It is historically, mathematically, politically, and logically impossible. It did not happen! He did not win! We won, by a landslide. “Over the past seven weeks, we have put forth abundant evidence, proving how the Democrats perpetrated this monstrous fraud on the American people, and indeed, the world…. “Americans must be able to have complete faith and confidence in our elections. The fate of our democracy depends upon it. Now is the time for the American people to raise their voices and demand that this injustice be immediately corrected. Our elections must be fair; they must be honest; and they must be transparent. And, they must be 100% free of fraud. “We won this election by a magnificent landslide, and the people of the United States know it. All over, they’re demonstrating; they’re angry; they’re fearful. We cannot allow a completely fraudulent election to stand!” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJ8LfWC1Wks Dec. 28 (EIRNS)
