While the Great Reset/Green New Deal is poised for an inglorious collapse, there is a different "reset" underway, based on Eurasian integration. While this has been at the center of nightmares among the imperial geopoliticians tied to the City of London, and the speculative swindlers of Wall Street, for more than a century, there is no reason why the citizens of the U.S. and Europe should fear it. Instead, it represents an opportunity for the "West" -- should we choose to give up wars, austerity and the central banker's dictatorship -- to participate in projects which would provide great benefits for U.S. producers, and fuel an industrial, agricultural and trade bonanza. Download your copy of "The Coming U.S. Economic Miracle on the New Silk Road", and join our mobilization to implement it. Your participation will make the globalists most unhappy!
Two days of meetings between U.S. and Taliban officials in Doha were described as "candid and professional", but the U.S. has still not agreed to release funds being held by the U.S. Treasury that rightfully belong to the people of Afghanistan. There is no time to waste in providing humanitarian aid, as hunger is stalking millions, including children. Along with humanitarian aid, the U.S. should join with others in a broad reconstruction program, beginning with building necessary infrastructure. Peaceful cooperation in such projects, rather than military buildup and threats, is the best transition out of the failed policy of regime change and endless wars.
It's no coincidence that governments are falling, energy and food prices are soaring, new wars are being planned, and riots are being organized: We are in a systemic breakdown crisis, and those responsible for it are running psychological warfare operations to polarize the vast majority of people, to keep them from uniting around a policy to bankrupt the globalists, and go back to the principles of physical economy, as presented by Lyndon LaRouche in his "Four Laws". Helga Zepp-LaRouche and Guus Berkhout of Climate Intelligence have issued a "Wake Up Call," which must be circulated everywhere -- don't allow your friends and fellow citizens to be manipulated by fake narratives pushed by those who are organizing these crises. They are vulnerable and can be defeated.
Inflation, breakdown in supply chains, etc., are real. But they are only a reflection of a broader dynamic, which Lyndon LaRouche called a Systemic Breakdown Crisis". This is being worsened by the push for "Green" policies, and the "Great Reset." Friday Question: What do you make of the Facebook whistleblower, who charged that Facebook was aware of the "toxic impact" of Instagram, and the algorithms which promote "extremism" and polarization? The narrative emerging is that the company prioritizes profit over public good --No Kidding, but that is the modus operandi of the entire neoliberal system: So, why is this coming out now?
The announcement of an agreement to hold a virtual bilateral summit between Presidents Biden and Xi before the end of the year could be a sign of calmer heads prevailing at a moment of increasing tension between the U.S. and China. The provocations regarding Taiwan and the South China Sea have added to the danger that war between the two nations is possible. What if, instead, there could be an agreement for the U.S. to join with China, to use the Belt-and-Road Initiative to reconstruct war-torn Afghanistan, through collaboration on joint development projects? The offer from China for that to occur is on the table -- could we be on the verge of a new era of peaceful cooperation?
Oct. 1 -- In an article posted on September 26 on Yahoo News, reporters Zach Dorfman, Sean Naylor and Michael Isikoff wrote that plans were discussed and drafted in 2017 by CIA officials to silence Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, by kidnapping him and/or assassinating him. (1.) They report that the planning was catalyzed by CIA Director Mike Pompeo, who had an "obsession" with Assange and WikiLeaks. The Yahoo News article confirms in large part reporting from Max Blumenthal of the Gray Zone, published in May 2020, which focused on the CIA's use of Sheldon Adelson's private security team in spying on Assange while he was in asylum at the Ecuadorian embassy in London. (2.) It also confirms the concerns and fears of many committed to free him from a British prison, that the harsh treatment he is receiving there, or his extradition to stand trial in the U.S., are intended to kill him.By 2017, Assange had been living in Ecuador’s Embassy in London for five years. At the time, Ecuadorian officials had begun efforts to grant Assange diplomatic status, to give him cover to leave the Embassy and fly to Moscow, to serve in Ecuador’s Mission there. The authors report that some senior officials inside the CIA and Trump Administration conferred on “options for how to assassinate him, as well spy on his WikiLeaks associates and steal their devices.” Assange had been watched by U.S. intelligence agencies for years, but plans to stop him were spurred by WikiLeaks’ ongoing publication of highly sensitive CIA hacking tools known as “Vault 7.” The CIA believed this revelation caused the largest data loss in CIA history. The authors quote an unidentified source that Pompeo was made completely furious by this event. Pompeo, in his first speech on April 13, 2017 as CIA Director, said: “WikiLeaks walks like a hostile intelligence service and talks like a hostile intelligence service, and has encouraged its followers to find jobs at the CIA in order to obtain intelligence. It’s time to call out WikiLeaks for what it really is: a non-state hostile intelligence service often abetted by state actors like Russia.” By identifying WikiLeaks as an "intelligence service", operations against it could be categorized as "offensive counterintelligence," as action against another spy service. This would allow them to avoid filing a "finding" to authorize covert action, which would have brought this to President Trump's attention. Despite efforts to link Trump to the actions against Assange, the reporters could find no evidence of his involvement. The report claims to be based on conversations with more than 30 former U.S. officials—8 of whom described CIA plans to abduct Assange. The report declares, "It was a campaign spearheaded by Pompeo that bent important legal strictures, which may have jeopardized any prosecution of Assange, and risked a damaging episode in the United Kingdom...." They note there was opposition to the proposed operations from both National Security Agency officials, and members of Trump's legal team. Eventually, those arguing for an approach based on the courts, rather than espionage or covert action, won the policy debate. On April 11, 2019, Ecuador’s new government revoked Assange’s asylum and evicted him; British police arrested him, and the U.S. government unsealed its initial indictment of Assange the same day, seeking his extradition from Britain. Pompeo And Russiagate The Yahoo article comes at an inconvenient time for Pompeo, who is highly ambitious and is planning to run for President. His efforts at damage control are instead exposing him as a liar and a hypocrite, while disproving his assertion that he was a Trump loyalist throughout his term as CIA Director and Secretary of State. For example, in an interview with conservative talk show host Glenn Beck, he attacked one of the authors, Michael Isikoff, correctly identifying him as a “big Russiagate hoax perpetrator.” Isikoff was the first to peddle the dossier produced by former MI6 operative Christopher Steele, which was used by Trump opponents in the intelligence community, Democrats and media to assert, falsely, that Trump was aided in his election campaign by Vladimir Putin and Russian hackers, who allegedly provided the documents they hacked from Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee (DNC) computers to WikiLeaks. Publication of those documents exposed corrupt actions of the Clinton campaign in winning the Democratic Party nomination. However, unmentioned by either Pompeo or Beck is that Pompeo, after receiving a briefing in October 2017 by NSA whistleblower Bill Binney—in which Binney presented evidence that there was no Russian hack—did nothing to expose the Russiagate hoax. Though he asked Binney if he would meet with NSA and FBI officials to present his analysis, Binney confirmed that there was never any follow-up by Pompeo. Instead, Pompeo's spokesman said, “The Director stands by, and has always stood by, the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment,” which accused Russia of hacking DNC computers. By allowing this fraud to go unchallenged by the intelligence community, the Trump presidency was significantly undermined in his efforts to break with the the anti-Russian geopolitics of Obama, and instead forge a friendly, cooperative relationship with Russia and Putin -- thus leaving Trump captive to the Military Industrial Complex operators served by Pompeo, and unable to end the "endless wars", which had been a central theme of his campaign and his presidency. Further, in the interview with Beck, he did not exactly refute the Yahoo story. He said that while he and Trump were often accused of being engaged in "crazy things", he stated that "we [meaning him and Trump] were very worried about the fact that we had bad actors...stealing very sensitive things," referring to Assange and WikiLeaks. This comment implies that Trump was in the discussion process with Pompeo and his collaborators, something which the authors were unable to confirm. In a later interview with Megyn Kelly, he repeatedly stuck his foot in his mouth. For example, he asserted that the charge that he was drafting a plan to assassinate Assange is false, saying "We're not permitted by U.S. law to conduct assassinations." Investigative journalist Caitlin Johnstone points out, inconveniently for the lying Pompeo, that the Trump administration assassinated Iran's top military commander, Qassem Soleimani, in a drone strike, which he praised. Pompeo said of that assassination, "President Trump and those of us in his national security team are re-establishing deterrence, real deterrence, against the Islamic Republic of Iran." This coheres with a pledge he made in an October 2017 speech at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies -- a neocon think tank whose funders include Sheldon Adelson -- when he said of the CIA under his direction, "We're going to become a much more vicious agency." He also told Kelly that he believes that those who were sources for the Yahoo story "should all be prosecuted for speaking about classified activity inside the Central Intelligence Agency", a threat consistent with his efforts to stamp out freedom of the press in his obsessive desire to silence Assange and Wikileaks. As for his efforts to portray himself as loyal to Trump, he revealed a great deal, when Kelly asked him whether he agreed with Trump that Assange had been treated "very badly." "No," he replied. "Assange treated the U.S. and its people very badly." This release of this story coincides with a turbulent moment in U.S. foreign/strategic policy, following the ending by the Biden administration of the war in Afghanistan, and while negotiations are underway to remove U.S. troops from Iraq and Syria. There is an intense debate underway, with the war hawks -- including Pompeo -- using the chaos resulting from the rapid Taliban takeover to question whether ending the war was a mistake. Typical of Pompeo's history as a liar and a Sophist, he has joined those who said the decision to leave was right -- after all, he was the chief negotiator with the Taliban -- but the execution was flawed, and the U.S. should have left troops in place. It is useful for the purpose of extricating the U.S. from the era of endless wars that this story of Pompeo's murderous outlook has been published. However, in the absence of a plan to work with other nations to provide an economic development perspective for Afghanistan, the desperate humanitarian conditions facing the Afghan people will lead to chaos, playing into the hands of those who are advocates of permanent war. The Yahoo story should serve as the beginning of a full accounting of those who wish to use the potential chaos to defend the geopolitical outlook behind the endless wars. And instead of punishing Assange for his exposure of the war crimes of those protected by Pompeo, charges against him should be dropped, and a full exoneration should be extended to him. Footnotes1.) According to the Oct. 4 issue of the Economist magazine, the mouthpiece for the City of London financial interests, "The Age of Fossil Fuel Abundance is Dead", scarcity will worsen, prices will rise, and there is nothing you can do about it. Really? Resistance to their depopulation policies is growing, as LaRouche's warnings from the early 1970s have proven to be deadly accurate. Thirty-five years ago, on Oct. 6, 1986, the "Get LaRouche" task force raided his home, sending 400 armed personnel to kill him. They failed then, and have been unable to kill his strategic and economic method, which is shaping the resistance to their intent to use artificial shortages to kill billions of people.
As genocidal Malthusians move ahead with plans to impose a global Green dictatorship at the upcoming COP26 conference in Glasgow, the LaRouche Organization has drafted a plan which presents a human alternative. "The Coming U.S. Economic Miracle on the New Silk Road" demonstrates what scientific and technological optimism, driven by courage and imagination, can accomplish, using as examples the history of infrastructure development in the U.S., and the current miracle of poverty elimination in China. Today's questions: 1.) What can be done to avoid an economic blowout? What is the Fed doing? What about the budget/debt ceiling debate -- Is there a way to avoid default? 2.) Why do you think Yahoo News ran the story about Pompeo and the CIA plotting to kidnap or kill Julian Assange? 3.) What makes you think we can trust the Taliban enough to contribute to rebuilding Afghanistan?
Two stories in the last days provide new insights into the deadly and corrupt practices of operatives of the "Deep State". Yahoo News exposed planning undertaken by then-CIA Director Pompeo to kidnap or assassinate Julain Assange, for the "crime" of exposing the dirty wars run by the military/intelligence/corporate establishment that Pompeo wanted to protect. And two Presidents of regional Federal Reserve branches resigned, when reports were published of their personal trading of financial instruments which were affected by the Fed's Quantitative Easing policy. The defenses offered by Pompeo and Fed chair Powell are unconvincing, as they move to cover-up the bigger crimes they are trying to keep hidden.
Even though there is growing international opposition to the Great Reset and the Green New Deal, globalist anti-growth policies which are part of an arc going back to 1971 are now inflicting massive damage to the physical economy, especially to western "developed" nations. The full range of speculative swindles, funded by global central banks, when combined with "free trade" and Green policies, is generating hyperinflation and unsustainable levels of debt. The election last weekend in Germany will likely bring to power a coalition government which will double down on those policies, along with a commitment to an escalation of geopolitical confrontation with Russia and China.
Remember the Crash of 2008, when the U.S. housing bubble popped? How Bush, then Obama, bailed out the speculators, while 7+ million families lost their homes? And how trillions of dollars of bailouts went to the speculators, driving inflation and increasing unsustainable debt, while credit to productive industry was choked off, to the present day??? Now, check out what China is doing in the Evergrande case -- forcing speculators to take a giant haircut, a "pre-emptive bubble popping", while protecting the homeowners, and continuing to direct money to physical production. China is putting people first, while the Federal Reserve is engaged in "socialism" for bankers and speculative swindlers, under the theme of protecting those "Too Big to Fail"!
A preliminary analysis of election results in Germany indicates that, while no party has much support, there must be a consensus among voters in favor of the Green destruction of its industrial economy, and preparation for war with Russia and China -- as that was the emphasis of all the major parties. The result is not surprising, as an alternative to the continued surrender of sovereignty to the imperial policies of London and Washington was not allowed, either not covered, or treated as "extremism". Yet, as we keep pointing out, much of the world is rejecting the City of London and Wall Street policies of the Great Reset, the Green New Deal, and a new geopolitical drive for regime change against Russia and China.
The answers to many of the economic and financial questions received for today can be found in the newly-released TLO pamphlet, "The Coming U.S. Economic Miracle -- On the New Silk Road." Questions addressed today include: 1, What is Fed Chair Jerome Powell talking about when he assures us that inflation is "transitory"?; 2. What about China's actions related to Evergrande?; 3. Is the AUKUS agreement directed against China?; 4. What is the significance of the indictment of Hillary's attorney Sussman?
The freezing of Afghanistan's national funds held in the N.Y. Federal Reserve Bank, ordered by Treasury Secretary Yellen on August 15, is setting the stage for further chaos in that war-torn country. You don't have to love the Taliban to demand the unfreezing of those funds -- they belong to the sovereign nation of Afghanistan, and are needed to feed people, provide medicine, purchase fuel, etc. By withholding those funds, the U.S. and its allies are starving children, exactly as the British colonial administrators did to their colonies. Is this what the Biden administration intends, when it says the era of endless wars is over???
Sept. 15 -- On September 14, the voters of California rejected the attempt by Trump supporters and disgruntled libertarians to use the state's "Recall" process to remove Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom from office. Voters were asked to decide whether they wanted Newsom removed, in which case they could vote "Yes" for recall; or whether he should remain in office, in which case they vote "No". The full count of mail-in ballots may take another week to ten days, but with more than 70% of the votes counted, nearly 64% voted against the recall. While the margin may narrow a bit, it is a decisive defeat for those who gathered nearly 1.5 million petition signatures to place the recall on the ballot. This represents a stunning reversal in the last four weeks, as polls in mid-August projected a very close vote, which Newsom could lose. He was elected in 2018 with 62% of the vote, at which point his opponents launched several petition drives to recall him, starting just after his inauguration. These initial attempts failed to get enough signatures, until organizers switched tactics to use anger against his tough measures to curb the COVID19 pandemic -- such as mask mandates and lock-downs -- to supercharge the drive for signatures to remove him. At the center of the petition drive were supporters of former President Trump. The tide shifted back in his favor in August, when Newsom decided to focus on the anti-vax, anti-mask rhetoric of his opponents, sharply contrasting his support for implementing the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines in the battle against the COVID pandemic in California, to the deadly populism of Governors in Florida and Texas, where hospitalizations and deaths have soared, due to rejection of the CDC guidelines by the governors in those states. In California, Newsom enacted mask mandates for schools and vaccine requirements for health care workers, government employees and school staff. The state, which had seen a huge jump at the beginning of the summer in cases from the "Delta" variant, with hospitals running short of beds and personnel, now has one of the lowest rates of new positives in the country. When his leading Republican opponent, radio talk show host Larry Elder, pledged that were he elected, he would repeal Newsom's mask and vaccine mandates "before I have my first cup of tea," Newsom went on the offensive. He warned that recalling him would place public health in the hands of those whose response to the pandemic would endanger lives. This shift was highlighted by Los Angeles Times reporter David Lauter, who wrote on September 15 that Newsom's strategy succeeded by turning the issue into one of "personal freedom" versus "public safety." As long as a large majority of voters "feel that the pandemic threatens their health and their children's health, that's not an even fight." Exit polls confirmed this, showing that even among voters who have doubts about Newsom and are worried about the future of the state, the biggest concern is defeating the pandemic. Among those who voted, a large majority said they supported mask and vaccine mandates. The Collapse Of The Golden State There is no doubt that the overall situation in California, which in the past was seen as an American paradise, is undergoing a long-term devolution, which has been accelerating. As Governor, Newsom has made mistakes, including some which were very visible -- as when he cavorted, maskless, with lobbyists at a fancy restaurant, after lecturing residents to stay at home, and wear masks in public places. This act of blatant hypocrisy has been cited as a trigger for the anger against him, but there are other serious problems afflicting the state, for which his opponents blamed his administration. These include a drastic increase in homelessness, crime, drug use and trafficking, power outages, a sharp upward trend in the cost of living, and a devastating drought, responsible in part for massive forest fires and water shortages. However, these problems have been in the making for years, due to foolish, and in some cases criminal policies, implemented long before Newsom was elected -- and they are not unique to California! For example, the collapse of the physical economy is the result of neoliberal policies on a national and state level, supported by both parties, especially the refusal to invest in essential infrastructure; and by the promotion of "free market" trade policies, which undermined the agricultural sector, and which led to the outsourcing of manufacturing, gutting the state's once remarkably productive industrial sector. The 1996 deregulation of electricity markets, backed by bipartisan majorities, led to the energy crisis of 2001-2003, causing blackouts and utility price hikes that led to the ouster in 2003 -- by recall -- of Democratic Governor Davis, and his replacement by the Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who governed California on behalf of globalist corporate elites directed by George Shultz and Lord Jacob Rothschild. The state still suffers rolling blackouts today, as the deregulated markets have been made even less reliable, by the imposition of Green policies, which include the shutdown of electricity production by nuclear and coal plants. Further, there is a lack of affordable housing, as financial deregulation favored the speculative policies which created the mortgage-backed security bubble which popped in 2008, leading to foreclosures of millions of familes' homes. The situation facing homeowners and renters has worsened, as the Federal Reserve's Quantitative Easing policy of handing out free money to speculators, has driven up the average home price in the state to over $800,000. In many cities, rents are unaffordable for working families, and even those in the shrinking middle-class. This economic/financial disaster is what Lyndon LaRouche forecast in 1971, when he saw the power of elected officials tasked with defending the general welfare usurped by private corporate interests. Instead of legislation enacted by representatives who could fight for the interests of their constituents, power became concentrated in the hands of operatives of private cartels, typified by such globalist scoundrels as Shultz, Paul Volcker, and their buddies in the Trilateral Commission, who oversaw what they called the "controlled disintegration" of the western economies. The same process put both parties into dependency on funds from Wall Street, corporate cartels and Silicon Valley. As this orchestrated devolution has gathered momentum, it has exacerbated the dysfunction of the political process in the U.S., which is dominated by a virulent polarization consolidated around fake choices, e.g., "left versus right", "liberal versus conservative", identity politics, etc. This polarization, reinforced by lying narratives pushed by corporate media, has reduced most public policy debate to the level of infantile babbling. The recall process, which its advocates claim is a means of governing through "direct democracy", increases the vitriolic polarization, by playing upon raw emotions -- as, for example, the fearful anger against a public health policy such as wearing a mask, which is attacked as a "fascist" policy, which takes away one's freedom to choose. The recall policy was introduced initially by a Teddy Roosevelt "Progressive", Governor Hiram Johnson, in 1911, in league with a gang of "Tory reformers", allegedly to counter the power of "special interests". They argued that the tools of "direct democracy" gave power to the people. In reality, they allow special interests to push through policies which could not survive the rigor of a legislative process. In addition to recall, Johnson introduced ballot initiatives and referenda. One example of this was a 1920 initiative to strengthen the Alien Land Law, which denied ownership of land to Japanese and Asian immigrants. The American "Presidential System" Lyndon LaRouche denounced the recall of Governor Gray Davis in 2003, which grew out of the effects of the deregulation of electricity, a policy drafted by Bush and Cheney's friends at Enron, with the backing of both parties. LaRouche warned that recall and other "direct democracy" tools were being deployed to eliminate the American Presidential system, in favor of a British-style parliamentary system. He pointed out that policy disagreements should be fought out in the legislative process, and decided by the voters in elections -- that's how the Presidential system works, with citizens making the decisions, not parties funded by corporate cartels and special interests. LaRouche said in Burbank during the 2003 recall that the adoption of government by "direct democracy" marks a shift from the American Presidential system to a form of a British parliamentary system, sacrificing the "General Welfare" in favor of private, special interests. In an article about his intervention, I summarized his remarks as follows: Using these tools, "a confused, frightened and irresponsible electorate can be manipulated by a well-financed campaign backed by a popular figure, who can play on their confusion and fears, to remove an elected official, or pass legislation, which actually goes against their best interests and the General Welfare." It cost $276 million to run the recall, an unnecessary expense, given that there will be an election for Governor in November 2022, and Newsom will presumably be up for re-election. By rejecting his recall, the voters of California have given themselves time to take up the challenge posed by the dramatic decline of their state and the nation, to engage in real debate and dialogue, rather than succumbing to their fears. As for the supporters of the recall, they insist that they were defeated not by the will of the majority, but by vote fraud. They remain committed to tearing down the constitutional protections of the American system, in which the republican institutions of self-government are vested with the authority to make policy, and not left in the hands of a volatile electorate which can be whipped up by well-financed demagogues to act against their own self interest. Trump denounced the outcome as "just another giant Election Scam, no different, but less blatant, than the 2020 Presidential Election Scam." Typical of those supporting an American Jacobin revolution is the enraged comment of Anne Hyde Dunsmore, campaign manager for Rescue California, one of the groups behind the recall, who said, "What I'm not subscribing to is this grand mandate, that we got it shoved up our ass. Because we didn't."
As the United Nations General Assembly convened in New York yesterday, the only real issue before the members is that of Development versus Depopulation. While British PM Boris Johnson was openly pushing depopulation, President Biden made an effort to hide behind rhetoric about "diplomacy" and "no Cold War"; but his actions last week, in formally announcing a new strategic alliance with the Brits and Australia -- against China and Russia -- shows why so many nations no longer trust the U.S. In contrast, China's Xi called for a new Global Development Initiative, based on multilateralism, and non-interference in other's internal affairs.
Rising energy prices, exiting from safe, clean and reliable sources of electricity production -- e.g., clean coal and nuclear -- and deregulation of energy markets, are producing a perfect storm, threatening the lives of many in Europe and the U.S. this winter. The same confluence of policies, with sanctions added to the mix, is responsible for Malthusian genocide in whole sectors of the developing sector. Join us to reverse this, to defeat the Fake Science of "man-made climate change" of the Green New Deal, and the deadly neoliberal financial looting of deregulation. The LaRouche Organization pamphlet, "The Great Leap Backward: LaRouche Crushes the Green New Deal Fraud," is available HERE
The world moved deeper into an extinction mode with the announcement last week of a new Australia-UK-US geopolitical security arrangement, and with a series of upcoming conferences focusing on moving toward "nature positive" methods of production, driven by the genocidal lunatics of the Davos World Economic Forum. The former represents a direct threat to China, the latter to the food supply and production of goods essential for human survival. Will enough voices of sanity be heard to counter these absurd conceptions?
The new "strategic partnership" announced yesterday between the U.S., Britain and Australia represents a reaffirmation of British geopolitics, with the U.S. again providing the muscle to enforce an imperial world order. This is not just about selling nuclear submarines to Australia. Despite claims that this targets no nation, the Chinese know better. That this occurs so soon after the U.S.-NATO withdrawal from Afghanistan lends credence to the charge that, while the decision to leave was right, using it to free up the allies to adopt a "Pivot to Asia" sends the signal to the Chinese that they should be prepared for war.
The book "Peril", authored by Woodward and Costa, raises disturbing questions about the role of U.S. military leadership in sabotaging President Trump's efforts -- and now those of President Biden -- to end the "endless wars." The same U.S.-British military-intelligence-corporate networks behind the 9/11 terror attacks, and the subsequent coverup, ran the attempted regime change coup called Russiagate, and continue to oppose replacing geopolitical confrontations and wars with peaceful cooperation. It is now an urgent priority that citizens get behind the demand for a full investigation of the coup plots, and support the shift to a new era based on multilateral efforts to achieve peaceful economic development.
The moment of opportunity opened by the end of the war in Afghanistan, for multilateral cooperation for economic development, could close very quickly. A False Flag event, occurring in the midst of almost daily military encounters by U.S.-NATO forces with Russian and Chinese military forces, could lead to a devastating war, either by miscalculation, or intent! Dialogue is essential, as Gen. John Hyten, Vice-Chair of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, expressed in a speech two days ago. We also present a preliminary report on the smashing defeat of the California Recall. Lyndon LaRouche famously warned, in 2003, that Recall is dangerous, as it is designed to manipulate momentary emotions, to undermine the American Presidential System, and replace it with a parliamentary system.
It is still unknown whether the withdrawal of U.S./NATO forces from Afghanistan is the end of the era of endless wars, or a move to a new phase of geopolitical confrontations, directly challenging Russia and China. The push for continued war comes from the onrushing financial collapse, for the same reason that the wars were launched following the 9/11 attack: wars are used, by the globalist financial and corporate cartels who fund the war hawks, to justify the imposition of emergency measures, including austerity economic policies and the surveillance state. That is why it is necessary that LaRouche's economic policies, for collaborative mutual economic benefit, represent the only real alternative to chaos.
The first 9/11 documents declassified as a result of President Biden's order show active involvement of Saudi officials in the events of 9/11. What must be answered now is 1.) Who in the U.S. government covered up the Saudi role for 20 years?; and 2.) Who benefited from the coverup? The place to begin to answer these questions is with Lyndon LaRouche's forecast on January 3, 2001, in which he warned that a "Reichstag Fire" event would be used by the Bush administration to impose emergency crisis management policies.
On the eve of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, which led to the "forever wars" which he still supports, Blair reiterated all the talking points used by the Shadow Government to justify geopolitical provocations, huge military budgets, and imposing the Surveillance State. We take up the question of whether 9/11 was an "inside job"; will Biden's declassification order relating to documents on the Saudi role make a difference; and what is the significance of changes in financial regulatory policies introduced by the Chinese government? For a full, in-depth analysis of 9/11 and its destructive aftermath, and how to change the direction from geopolitics to peaceful cooperation, be sure to register for the online conference of the Schiller Institute on Saturday, September 11, beginning at 2 PM EDT.
