American Electorate at a Crossroads: Nuclear War, Or a New Security Architecture?
By Anastasia Battle"Whatever happens, we have a president—now fully unveiled—who just may not be responsible for what he does in the coming campaign, not to mention his actions in the Middle East and Ukraine. Whatever happened to the 25th Amendment that authorizes the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet to declare the president incompetent? What is going on in the Biden White House?"
So concluded the latest blog by veteran journalist Seymour Hersh, regarding how the Biden “debate debacle” of Thursday revealed the strategic policy crisis that the world has actually existed in for months. He reported that “one of Washington’s political savants told me today that the Democratic Party is now facing ‘a national security crisis.’ Hersh intriguingly stated that “I have been told the increasing isolation of the president on foreign policy issues has been in part the doing of Tom Donilon..”
Donilon was Barack Obama’s National Security Adviser from 2010 to 2013, and is now the head of Black Rock’s Investment Institute, the geopolitical think tank for the trillions-dollar Black Rock firm. He also was central to the criminal expansion of NATO in the 1990s. His brother, Michael Donilon, is a central adviser to Biden, and was intensely involved in preparing Biden for Thursday’s mental train-wreck.
On today’s Manhattan Project show, panelists Harley Schlanger, Prof. Clifford Kiracofe, and Prof. Oliver Boyd-Barrett will discuss the strategic crisis of the Presidency, the release of Julian Assange from prison, and the multiple statements of Russian officials regarding issues of war and peace.
2pm ET to discuss what YOU can do to mobilize.
