The ethnic cleansing of Gaza has begun in earnest. An "evacuate at all costs" announcement this morning by the Israeli Defense Ministry “to the people of Gaza” was a cynical “public diplomacy” ploy. Journalist Glen Greenwald asked: “There's obviously the question of why this evacuation order is delivered to Gazans in English, over an internet they now can't use.

"But the bigger point: why would anyone believe this ‘relocation’ is ‘temporary’ when key Israelis believe the W. Bank and Gaza should be annexed?” In 1980, U. S.
