The "Return to Prudent Banking Act" was introduced in the U.S. Congress yesterday, to bring back Glass Steagall bank regulation. This would restore bank separation, which would protect depositors' accounts from looting by speculators, and would prevent future bailouts of the financial swindlers after their gambles failed. This is the first of Lyndon LaRouche's Four Laws, a big step toward eliminating the power of financial oligarchs. Where does your Congressman stand on this? Its passage would allow the U.S. to participate in funding real economic development, instead of being the leader in the looting of the Global South to cover for their failed speculation.
