The lights did not go out in Germany on April 16 after the shutdown of its last nuclear plants, but only due to importing energy -- including some produced by nuclear plants -- from Germany's neighbors. Major industries may leave the country, businesses are closing and electricity costs are skyrocketing. Yet, so far, the Germans are submitting to the Green attack on science and living standards -- while nations in the Global South are embracing nuclear energy.
