Sixty years ago today, Soviet leader Krushchev began the dismantling of nuclear missiles in Cuba, not because President Kennedy threatened to go to war, but demonstrated that he understood that the Soviets and the U.S. each had security interests that were legitimate. That is the lesson for today!
