July 23—The rapidly collapsing economies of the trans-Atlantic national economies is provoking even some of the most subservient nations and leaders to wake up to the fact that things are “beginning to fall apart,” as Col. Douglas Macgregor put it Friday night. “When food, fuel and medicine are either too expensive or scarce, things begin to fall apart,” Macgregor said on Fox News. “This government has no answers. The bad news is, the probable successors to this U.S. government and governments in Europe also have no answers. These problems run deep.”
There are answers, however, and that is why the increasingly repressive government control over information in the so-called “free world” is now exposing itself as totalitarianism—the very ideology America and its allies so proudly and heroically defeated in World War II. Americans and Europeans are rapidly waking up to the danger within their own countries of economic disintegration and police state repression. The tyrannical policies of the U.S. and the U.K., in terms of the criminal and genocidal “endless wars” against nations which were and are no threat to anyone, the police-state measures imposed after 9/11 and increasingly today under the guise of “national security,” and the total takeover of the economy, out of the hands of elected governments, by the private banking systems of the City of London and Wall Street, have created a monster which will do anything to prevent Americans and Europeans from acting on the solutions which are right in front of them. This censorship process has been used by the financial oligarchy to hide from Americans and Europeans the “Four Laws” of Lyndon LaRouche—the policies which, if implemented during LaRouche’s lifetime, would have prevented the current existential crisis of nuclear war, pandemic, famine and economic collapse facing the human race as a whole today. Restoring the Glass-Steagall law, putting the bankrupt Western financial system through bankruptcy reorganization rather than printing trillions of dollars to keep them afloat, would have made possible a return to the creditary policies of the Founding Fathers of the United States, directing federal credit into industry, infrastructure, nuclear and fusion power and space exploration.
But LaRouche’s ideas were not hidden from other great nations. Together with his wife Helga Zepp-LaRouche, Lyndon traveled the globe many times, presenting these ideas to governments, scientists, artists and others in scores of nations over the past fifty years. Russia’s great scientists welcomed his insights. Sergei Glazyev, one of Russia’s leading economists, who introduced LaRouche to the Russian Duma in June 2001 and studied his policies, is now working with Chinese economists and others on the new global financial system required in the face of the collapse of the dollar-based system.
These same ideas inspired China to follow these Hamiltonian “American System” measures, contributing to the greatest economic and social transformation from poverty to increasing prosperity and scientific leadership in all of history. Helga Zepp-LaRouche is known as the Silk Road Lady in China for her work since the 1990s, contributing to China’s rise, while China is taking these development ideas to the rest of the Global South through the Belt and Road Initiative, inspired by the New Silk Road concept.
Thus, the Western world need not be mired in pessimism due to the catastrophic collapse of the dollar-based empire of the City of London and Wall Street. There are great nations around the world which will welcome the West to join them in the explosion of development globally, rather than the explosion of nuclear weapons.
