Apr. 26—A war is now taking place, of NATO against Russia, fought primarily on Ukrainian soil and involving primarily Ukrainian soldiers (and civilians). The London Economist, the U.S. Secretary of Defense, and the Atlantic Council are just a few of the Anglo-American institutions taking a lead in promoting not peace, but a decisive military defeat for Russia, fighting that nation’s forces even if it takes every last Ukrainian to do so.

A major clash is now out in the open, between those nations and leaders backing measures to end the Ukraine conflict and produce more food to prevent famine, and those financial and political interests, centered in the Trans-Atlantic, perpetrating their “rules-based,” sanctions-based order, who want more weapons to Ukraine, and who couldn’t care less if it prevents settling the conflict or creates desperate hunger.

Following a deluded pep talk from U.S. Defense Secretary Austin, NATO nations offered more weapons to continue the war in Ukraine.
