Oct. 21, 2024 (EIRNS)—On Tuesday, Oct. 22, the nine nations of the BRICS, along with most of the 30 nations that have applied to join the BRICS, will convene in Kazan, Russia. On the first day, President Vladimir Putin will meet with China’s President President Xi Jinping and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Of special note, China and India agreed today to settle the border violence of 2020 that has kept them from collaborating as fully as possible on much larger issues, such as a new financial system that penalizes speculative games and promotes trade and development. Over the three days of the BRICS summit, host Vladimir Putin plans to meet personally with each of the other 19 heads of state or government in attendance. |
As western war hawks continue to move toward World War III, the BRICS summit is set to open tomorrow in Kazan, Russia. |
Oct. 20, 2024 (EIRNS)—Americans may not like hearing it, but what the chairwoman of Russia’s Federation Council Sen. Valentina Matviyenko said is true: “The upcoming U.S. presidential elections will not be the most important event of the year for the world community and will not determine the further course of history…. The BRICS summit will be that event…. The three days of the BRICS summit [Oct. 22-24] and the negotiations of the leaders of the world majority in [Kazan, Russia] the capital of Tatarstan will have a decisive influence on our future,” Matviyenko wrote. |
Oct. 19, 2024 (EIRNS)—Russian President Vladimir Putin made it perfectly clear Friday, Oct. 18. what the stakes are over the conflict in Ukraine. When asked about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s statement that Ukraine demands either NATO membership or nuclear weapons, Putin replied, with a look of conviction and animus that almost needs no words: “Under no circumstances will Russia allow this to happen.” |
Henry Kissinger, former U.S. Secretary of State and self-admitted British agent of influence over American foreign policy, had once declared that history “is not made in the South.” |
Oct. 18, 2024 (EIRNS)—This next week of our lives may be one of the most decisive that humanity will have ever lived. There is the upcoming BRICS conference in Kazan, Russia, from October 22-24, and which will be attended by leaders of 24 countries, as well as UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and at least 26 other countries that have applied for membership; there is the International Monetary Fund Conference in Washington, happening at the exact same time (Oct. 21-26); there is the meeting hosted by LaRouche independent candidates Jose Vega and Diane Sare on October 26, “Build a Chorus of Peace Against the Ghouls of War;” and there are events, as of yet unknown, which will certainly unfold over the next seven days. |
Americans need to know that 100s of billions of dollars are going to wars in Ukraine and SW Asia to benefit corporations, not for your security. |
Oct. 17, 2024 (EIRNS)—A sober evaluation of the current international strategic situation leads one to conclude that London and Washington may very well unleash Israel to bomb Iran—possibly including its nuclear facilities—in the middle of the Oct. 22-24 BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia |
Oct. 16, 2024 (EIRNS)—One year ago, the Netanyahu gang initiated what can only be called a population war upon the civilians of Gaza. The civilians went from an average of 500 trucks/day of food, water and medicine, for the 2.3 million residents, to zero. That was the centerpiece of the naked policy of driving all Palestinians out of Gaza, an explicit policy of the “Eretz Yisrael” (“Greater Israel”) gang. Weeks went by before international pressure resulted in a handful of trucks being allowed in, and that over the strenuous objections of Netanyahu’s front men, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. |

Why is the U.S. committed to engage in perpetual warfare? The short answer is the role of the Trilateral Commission and its cofounder, Zbigniew Brzezinski. |
Oct. 15, 2024 (EIRNS)—As the world waits with dread for Israel’s expected military strikes on Iran, there is still reason for hope. Most of the world, disgusted by the inaction of the legacy Western powers and the impotence of the United Nations to take decisive action, is thinking about new forms of international relations. Discussions of transforming the UN Security Council are picking up steam, and the relatively new forum of the BRICS is attracting countries from across the globe. |

Oct. 14, 2024 (EIRNS)—As the U.S. Congress is busy campaigning in their districts, and the media bombard people with emotion-laden news in the leadup to the Nov. 5 U.S. elections, the world is operating on a distinctly different timeline. Southwest Asia sits on a razor’s edge of exploding, as Israel expands its barbaric actions into Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon, and threatens to launch a full-blown attack on Iran. Iran’s President and Foreign Minister are engaging in a flurry of diplomatic activity to attempt to stave this off—President Masoud Pezeshkian spoke to French President Emmanuel Macron, and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi traveled to Iraq after having visited Beirut, Damascus, Riyadh and Doha in a little over a week. |

Oct. 13, 2024 (EIRNS)—The assembly of top leaders from dozens of countries next week in Kazan, Russia, may prove to be truly historic, particularly as it contrasts with the devastating decisions being taken by Anglo-American NATO and Israel. |
The Permanent Wars continue, politicians lie and people die. Why do we tolerate this? Not everyone does -- it's time to speak out, before it's too late. |
Oct. 12, 2024 (EIRNS)—Consider this scenario: A car is hurtling toward a brick wall. The collision seems imminent. “Don’t worry,” says the driver, “I don’t want to hit the wall!” Wouldn’t you say the driver is insane? |

Oct. 11, 2024 (EIRNS)—“Die alten, bösen Lieder, Die Träume bös’ und arg, Die lasst uns jetzt begraben, Holt einen grossen Sarg.” (“The old, evil songs, the spiteful and mean Dreams, let’s bury them now; fetch a big coffin.”—Heinrich Heine’s words, and their musical setting by Robert Schumann, come to mind, seeing the too-familiar dance between Macron and Zelenskyy, Zelenskyy and Washington, Zelenskyy and various nations in South and East Europe, etc., pretending that they do not know that the Ukraine war is all but lost. They mouth that they are in full support of “victory for Ukraine” in its unwinnable war against Russia, with the full realization that they are lying, and will soon be discovered—but continue, nonetheless. |
